We hope you enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes of our booth set up and found it informative if you have your own booth. This booth display set up works well for our items we make and features several custom displays we made, but we hope it will give other makers some booth display ideas for their work. This set up was for the St. Albert Farmers’ Market in St. Albert, Alberta (outside Edmonton), but it’s the same set up we use for folk festivals, outdoor art markets or art walks, outdoor craft sales, and any other show we do outside.
For this market we brought a wide variety of items we hand make many of which are not available online presently (these are booth exclusive). We have done hundreds and hundreds of shows over the last 10 years and we have the outdoor booth set up down to around an hour with just one person setting up the booth with hundreds of handmade items. The St. Albert Farmers’ Market is the largest outdoor market in Western Canada with over 250 vendors every Saturday selling produce, artwork, crafts, plants and home décor. There is a lot of fantastic art and crafts at this show and we have been doing it since 2009. Our booth number for 2018 is #59 right in front of St. Albert Place.
