Yeah if you're f2p just use Adversarial and call it a day, imo he is much less LC reliant than say Acheron (pretty much the opposite of what Pokke said lol)
When he has a decent amount of his own commentary and input it is fine, but some of them are legitimately just stealing content from a Chinese creator with him using the Chinese video graphics and slides and everything, he is just translating. Also terrible when he doesn’t credit the original creator who did all the hard work.
Boothill absolutely don't need his sign, I believe. There's a showcase where he's 3 cycles MoC using 3* LC with Bronya, HMC and Welt, without having crazy relics. My e0s1 Acheron(3.2 atk, 70/170 not in combat) on average clears MoC in 3 cycles.
By that logic most characters don't need a LC. He's just very strong in general even without LC but he gets (according to the graphs in the video) a 23% dmg increase from his signature LC. So yes you can run whatever LC you want and while he will still be a strong character, your dmg will be 23% lower than if you got his signature. The choice is yours.
@@elton-nx8bhplease do provide me a dps that can actually clear MoC in 3 cycles running actually no LC, there is a clip in youtube where someone does that with Boothill. His LC “issues” are being blown out of proportion very much.
@@ketansingh5220not really? It was a stronger set for him for sure and I still dislike how they handled it to favor FF and only her, but all he lost is 8% def ignore which won’t nerf him and make him unplayable.
@@LilDoozyy there are showcases of boothill clearing in decent cycles WITHOUT a lc at all, and i think there was one that did a 0 cycle with a 3star lc
@@yokehuatthee6066 Probably a consequence of leak showcases having really good builds but so many showcases build enough break effect and speed on him that his lc is no longer necessary. It's somewhat of a meme that people want the most stripped down version of Boothill.

Didn't the CN community said the same thing to Acheron without signature LC? But their opinions of her are favorably different. Is it because he's not Raiden Mei that he gets, for the lack of a better word, doomposted for the same issue?
@lewsee5562 Acheron still had GNSW, so people were complaining it was gacha, but she could use it. To my knowledge Boothills best LC, outside of his signature, is a 3 stars that just gives him 18% speed after a kill, I expect him to get some option(s) later on, like Acheron getting Boundless Choreo now, but this is pretty much it on release.
After the subathon that should be back, he's way too busy right now juggling a lot of games/content on the subathon that he doesn't have the time to prepare the usual in depth content.

Noone said that he does? but his dmg will increase by 23% if you have it vs if you don''t. It would be up to you to decide if that 23% additional dmg would be worth it to you or not.
@@Hreimdal you lose 23% damage if you replace his signature cone. If you return his cone, you will add 30% damage compared to what you had without it. But yeah, he doesn't need the cone that much

no wonder ppl try to show us he can be used even with no LC, all those LC do absolutely nothing to him compared to his LC, oc LC did not matter if everthing is useless
But the important detail is he does good damage with no LC. It doesn't matter if Hoyo gives a char a 100% damage increase at E1, if the base char is still top tier then I don't have a problem with it. Someday they will release a f2p cone that he likes, for now he can use the battlepass hanya cone to clear buffs.
I think the "16" part of the talent refers to Boothill's break dmg. It's not his break efficiency that will cap at 16 of the base, but his inherit break dmg that caps at 16 Toughness units (480 toughness), so it will not get stronger at beffier enemies -mostly bosses.
I really don't like how weakness implant is getting so common (silverwolf, boothill, acheron, xueyi to an extent). It basically removes the team building strategy out of the game
The reason why BH have a weakness implany is so that he can compete with other dps when fighting against non phy enemies. Otherwise he will be totally useless in those fights. Other non BE chars can still deal dmg against the wrong elements but BE char cannot
@@Zendelxex agree it's needed for his kit, but it's bad design IMO. If the solution is to lift the constraint so that he works, either his kit or the constraint is badly designed. Element coverage is basically the only combat mechanic that matters along with AV, so sad to see it "removed" more and more.
He doesnt need his lightcone. The damage difference is similar to Acheron and his non sig BiS does basically nothing so he can viably run no cone (it has been showcased). If anything he is the most F2P friendly DPS in the game who, incidentally, you can make even stronger with his sig if you *want* to.
I could be wrong,but I think while he’s good with hoyo, he prolly got removed from the creator experience program after yk. Maybe he won’t be able to join back anytime soon, but I’m just thankful mihoyo didn’t take it any further
you can run any main stat on the orb as most are useless to boost his dmg (except atk on his ulti by a bit). Choose the best orb with the highest BE and SPD on the substats instead. Run a HP orb, a Def orb or heck, go for non phy dmg orb for funsies but just make sure you have that 2 subs.
starting off the video with the most out of touch take imaginable we've got videos of Boothill doing 300k WITHOUT a Light Cone or using a 3* LC so yeah.. he does not need his sig but obviously, its his SIG.. its gonna be his BiS... *shocker! get it if you like him, just like with every other dps chances are we get more BE 4* lcs in the future just like we got Misha LC in destruction path
As further we get into the game the more I realize the hypercarry meta is just falling behind every other archetype. Which is good as it adds more variety but as more characters release the worse it feels on my part for not following DOT meta or the Duo DPS meta.
@@Ilikegames804 i mean he is still getting hyperbuffed and doing at least 70% or more of the team DMG, he just scale with another stat, i should say that's the definition of hypercarry for me, they do majority of the team DMG and all the teammates are there to enhances the Performance of that character.
Why would you proc bleed? If he breaks the enemy, they should die either on the current or his next turn, so it’s more efficient to just bring bronya, since she also increases his break by doubling his turns. It would work, just wouldn’t be very good.

It's signature LC or bust. Without signature LC, you can use Adversarial (3 star LC). Break Effect doesn't scale off ATK, DMG% and crit so any LC will do (yes, that includes off-path LCs).
Creators can't talk about future leaks for fear of being blacklisted or retaliated on by Mihoyo. That's why he dances around the subject during relic talk.
@@smolbeans7 however Boothill doesn't want HMC like FF he wants AF more I.E his BIS supports are RM and Bronya so the new sets not optimal anymore because it only gives him 10% Def ignore and especially if your RM is just E0 then the 32% BE of the other sets out DPS the new one.
After v3 she looks not that good for f2p and not versatil in team comp at all , so boothill is a save choice because the fact that he did the dmg that firefly does to 3 targets to just one target make him hella strong
Nah ff is a better break dps rn because of Gallagher and future fire nihility with sustain. Her synergy with current units is better than what boothill has. Also AOE is just better considering she move four times in a cycle and she doesn't need to do all the breaking herself because of Gallagher.
How are so many people completely tone-deaf to the fact that Mr. Pokkes currently on DAY 21 of his subathon? That is 21 days of waking up -> going on stream -> sleeping -> repeat. Understand he has absolutely zero time to be making the any additional high quality content while being on stream. (ESPECIALLY AFTER 21 DAYS STRAIGHT) To the people that say he sold-out, he quit his full-time job to pursue content creation and what better way to get it started and celebrate with a subathon? Please understand the situation before throwing more mental strain on our favorite gamer :(
His implant doesn't remove the increased res, it's just so he can do toughness damage. And SW debuffs the enemies to hell which is the main way to boost break damage. Please turn your brain on.
he looks cool but he has same issue i have with all hunt units he sucks during fights with adds, being more single target hurts him, since leak footage for Firefly dropped awhile back I'm skipping this guy going for her instead, plus being destruction is more my play style
He's cool, but sadly he comes right before Firefly which is going to hurt his pull numbers a little. Definitely a rerun character for me since I like his simplicity.
