Well done using a brush with long bristles, I can't work the soap/cream enough with long bristles. But your alum must be solid, mine slipped into the sink once and I lost about half of it to dust 🤦🏼‍♂️ I've started suggesting Christmas pressies to the family 🤩

Good afternoon Paul! The Autumn hues in that floral arrangement are stunning...thank you Mrs. H!! The Omega Pro 49 boar is super funky smelling on the first use. Not sure it is wet pig bristle smell...mine was more akin to the droppings of said pig. Even after 2 years of regular use there is the occasional whiff. Other than that; great brush. A nice shave with inexpensive shaving gear. I had a great shave last night. Karve CB razor (C plate) loaded with the 1974 Personna 74 Plus blade (20th use), Stirling Pumpkin Spice shaving soap lathered with the Graydog Splatted Maple 26 mm synthetic. 3 passes plus pick-ups. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and PAA Atomic Bay Rum aftershave. The results was Baby Bottom Smooth in all directions. The Personna 74 Plus blade is in a tie for longevity...how many more shaves are left in it? Thank you for sharing your shave Paul. Look forward to your next upload. Take care always.

I have that shaving bowl, i find running hot water on it while lathering the soap makes for a better shave

Awesome video as usual. If I may suggest, try to lather your face holding the brush from the knot with three fingers. In that way, you control the big loft of the brush squeezing the cream out at the same time. That's how my barber in Italy use to do. Cheers mate😉

I noticed the razor you are using has the center pins and the one you used last Halloween does not. That's the one I have the Gillette Sterling 7oclock without the pins. Good razor and keep the videos coming, big fan

My Brush smelt like a damp dog love the oniga 49 the smell went with in a month the wilkison is not a bad Brush good shave my man

This version might be superior to the Gillette Sterling razor. That version does not have the two pins on either side of the handle.
