This is, yet again, another filler non-canon video made for fun! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!! Support "The Walten Files" at: ko-fi.com/thew... !
I literally just told my friend that these characters are furries here's how the conversation went if you're interested Him: "Can't wait for theater class so I have an excuse to be extra creepy" Me: "U already act like L from death note how much worse can u get" * sends a picture of L saying "I'll give you this strawberryif you keep it a secret ok?" * Him: * sends picture of the pumpkin rabbit from the "a mysterious house" video * "this is is creepier" Me: "If I see u walking around like that I'll start calling u a furry"
I don't think it was his last chance. He just had to actually be sorry for what he did, not for what is happening to him. Sure, he said he was sorry, but is he really sincere? Did he admit to any actual wrongdoing? Did he try to fix anything? Why didn't beg to at least be allowed to pay Banny before he dies, after being shown what happens to her because of him? He's still completely selfish by the end. He doesn't deserve forgiveness. He doesn't deserve to live.
@@theuncalledfor after what happened with sad you can see that he was actually srry, the thing is that sad couldn’t get trough his selfishness, so he got angry and made boozoo realize he was making wrong choices
@@marioneta7515 Was he sorry for what he did, or was he just scared? Again, he didn't actually _do_ anything to redeem himself. He never admitted to any wrongdoing. If he was actually sorry, wouldn't he have, you know, asked for a chance to fix things? To pay Banny, to give back what he stole and maybe donate his own money to charity to make up for it?
@@theuncalledfor he actually did asked for another chance, you can see in the film that he was begging for another chance, of course being of the verge of death flipped the switch in him but it was to late, even when he was tricked into thinking he was back in the real world he was actually happy for being forgiven and was ready to fix everything he did, but as i said before it was a trick and he couldn’t fix his mistakes even if he wanted to bc sad was his last chance
@@marioneta7515 Why are you making things up? He was happy to see Banny, but he didn't do anything to fix his mistakes. He didn't tell her that her debt was forgiven, and saying that he was about to fix things is pure speculation. Unless you have a time stamp to prove otherwise.
I love how much meaner Jolly and Mortality are to Boozoo than Sad. Sad is just like "you're a bad person but you still have time to change", Jolly straight up roasts him, and Mortality fucking slam dunks him.
They’re actually repeating what Boozoo said prior in a distorted way. I could make out “You incompetent little bunny” and “I don’t need to accept anything.” Those are also the sounds that play when Boozoo dies, possibly alluding to the fact that Boozoo’s ignorance is what led him to his death.
Technically they're ghosts, trying to show Boozoo his errors, he lied and didn't cared so they had to show him the bad way and make him suffer for what he has done
@@AJRivers21 I guess you didn't understood the point of this story, Boozoo is represented as a greedy bastard who cares for nobody but him, he does terrible things and does not appreciate Christmas, the ghosts tried to explain to him what the consequences are of what he's doing but he does not care until he gets way too scared, then it all seems to go back to normal and that he was now changed, but as the ghosts said "it's too late to save them." showing him that he should have learned the lesson before. His death is his punishment.
Lesson learned, 1. Don’t be a bad person in the Walten files Universe 2. Don’t argue with ghosts 3. Don’t take money from toddlers And mostly, Respect the vibe check Boozoo
I like The Walten Files interpretation of A Christmas Carol. It's super original. There is no redemption arc. Boozoo goes through the same beats as Scrooge, but rather than cleansing his soul through warnings from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, he is instead vanquished. In a way, Boozoo's Ghosts is the perfect foil to The Mysterious House, because in The Mysterious House, bad things happen to good people, but in Boozoo's Ghosts, bad things happen to everybody. I also love how much this series lingers on frightening imagery to create suspense. There are "jump scares", but they are all earned and built towards. The vaporwave glitch style score also channels tons of suspense
BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE???? AS IN BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO ME ??? IS THIS A REFERENCE ?? WILL WOOD??? CHEMICAL OVERREACTION/COMPOUND FRACTURE ??????
I did notice how Boozo was shown a red silhouette in the mirror like how Edd and Molly are shown in Bunny Farm with the word 'regrets' highlighted. I think that's just an easter egg though.
One thing I noticed is that at 22:30 if you listen closely you realise those noises that they're making are distorted versions of things that we have already heard Boozoo say. They are literally spitting his words back at him. It's a nice touch!
This version makes boozoo seem so much more human than your typical Scrooge character. He’s a jerk, yeah, but his emotions are so much more evident beyond regular fear
I feel like this version hits so much harder than the original because there’s no chance for Boozoo to make up for it. He never gets to apologize or attempt to right his wrongs. It’s just over. Bone-chilling.
Well said. It’s like these sadistic twisted otherworldly forces tormenting him to teach him a lesson, but he doesn’t even get a chance to learn anything, seemingly just to get rid of him in the worst way possible. Like the whole ordeal is pointless and cruel. It really makes you feel truly helpless.
He did actually have a chance, at the beginning, but he didn't take it. He refused to follow the first ghost. He had his chance, and sadly didn't take it.
@@potatochip422 I mean the original Christmas Story with Ebenezer Scrooge, at the end he had a change of heart and goes on to treat everyone nicely and learns the true spirit of Christmas
Something that kind of hit me years later with this. During the first ghost's song - he says "you don't want to hear me cry" and it shows his eye markings starting to warp, foreshadowing the first ghosts true form and warning Boozo that he should admit his mistakes or else.
The moral of the story kids...don’t hate Christmas or ghosts are gonna ethier kill or scare you into liking Christmas or show you the mean of Christmas... Plus a clown will try to kill as well
First ghost: ok this guy is bad, but there is still time to fix his mistakes Second ghost: ok I understand but let’s show him what happens to others when he does this Third ghost: *N O*
Well, we can see that we felt really bad for what he done, and that deep inside he was a good person, like the original Evennizer Scrouge, but in the original story the ghosts actually gave him a second chance to change, and he actually did, and with everything he done from that night, he managed to make other people happy But this time it shows like a bad ending where the ghosts never gave him the second chance, and tortured him with his sins until his final breath And i honestly think that he doesn't deserve this, but we talking about TWF and Martin Walls
Actually in the original Christmas Carol I think the 3rd Ghost’s appearance of a floating shade with no distinct form is meant to represent how the future has no form until you yourself shape it.
I remember reading about someone's theory on this being the point of view of Felix while he's watching these specials put out by Bunny Smiles as they represent his guilt, based on the kneejerk change of pace and the glitching. Like this story was actually normal, but in Felix's now tortured mind, he sees this. Honestly an interesting theory that lines up for me.
It's the way Boozoo is literally being emotionally tortured right now and questioning all his morals and everything he's ever lived for by ghosts, while he's in his PJs
this whole video is an accurate representation of you being the only one on the call with a shiny new blue yeti and all of your friends having their Xbox headset and the most ass connections in the world
32:57 I heard this exact sound in a nightmare I had, accompanied by a very similar image (except it was a skinny, ghostly human silhouette crawling through a window at an impossibly fast speed) before everything flashed red, the silhouette was standing upright and I woke up in a cold sweat
I heard this too, but for some reason, it was me watching a RU-vidr (DashieGames) and when he gets jumpscared, his scream starts to glitch like it was the scariest thing ever and I woke up in a cold sweat. I don't even think I saw anything about the Walten Files before this.
Just say this is just a dream to the creature and you'll wake up! It worked for me! Although ever since then my dreams don't exist anymore and it's just a black void for a few seconds then I wake up. I think I accidentally damaged my subconscious
@@nic0co I didn't get to that part yet, but normally if I don't understand I try to put the subtitles. Even tho they're not 100% accurate, they help me guess what was said
I really like how you not only added your own unique spin to the Christmas Carol narrative, but really emphasized the horrific aspects of mortality and fate that the original story had. People forget that it isn't just the ghost of christmas past that is horrifying, but all of them are ultimately frighetning with their implications
Sadly, this is how it really is. Sometimes, people do bad things. And sometimes, those people want to atone, grow, right what theyve wronged, apologize, and change for the better, because they genuinely feel bad about it. And sometimes, they are denied that chance. Sometimes people don't realize they've already used up their last chance until it's too late.

I love how martin takes the saying in art to never use black airbrushing for shadows and flips it on its head. Using black for shading using an airbrush tool in digital art makes it look muddy and gross but in this case it makes everything so fucking disturbing! I love it so much! Fantastic work as always
@@smileyking3193 i know this reply was from almost a year ago but I still wanna add my own take There *is* plenty of reason not to shade with black. When people say that, they're not talking about the solid black comic-book style shading, or when the black is used _intentionally_ like in this series. The advice is more so used with newer artists, who don't necessarily understand that shadows A) do have some colour irl, and B) generally tend to look better when more vibrant with more stylized styles of art. If you've ever seen newer artists art, a lot of them shade with nothing but a black airbrush tool, which can look good if used right (again, like twf), but typically just tends to look,, not the best. If you know what you're doing, by all means, shade however you want with whatever colours you want. But there is merit to "Don't shade with black." Even here, not all the shading seems to be black either.
Nightmare abomination: "I am a reflection of your very being, every part of your problem... but I'm not as ugly." Charles Dickens stand-in: "Oh... okay."
The most interesting about this type of horror is the fact that the things always ends in death. A lot of the movies ends with the win of the characters and the hope with “We can win“, but in a lot of cases the condicion is impossible to survive.
I feel like you’ve mastered the art of not needing jump scares every 5 seconds, and instead building the perfect amount of tension before letting it trickle away. Or explode.
