These Vodka soaked tomatoes are a great appetizer when you have people over for a cocktail party. These will taste like a bloody mary bomb.
Recipe:
2 pints cherry tomatoes
2 cups of vodka
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
3 tablespoons of kosher salt
1 tablespoon of dried tarragon
1 tablespoon of cumin seed
Poke about 8 holes in the tomatoes with a toothpic. Then pour the sugar, vodka, tarragon, and cumin seed and whisk till the salt has dissolved.
Put the tomatoes in to vodka mixture and let it sit in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Serve with toothpics.
Use the leftover vodk a for bloody mary's the next day.
