Looks like a real nice addition to your shop. Thanks for showing it as I wasn't aware of this Bora product!

Nice! They took my version a step farther! I made a swivel top table along this line, out of wood. On one side I have my miter saw mounted and the other side I have a router table mounted. I have a small shop so this rotating top with two tools mounted on either side of the table really helps. I seldom use my router, so it works good for me. I hope your video helps people that need more room in their small shop. Good job Steve!

That is so cool! My shop is only !2 X 16. That would save me a lot of space. Thanks for sharing Steve! Take care!

Same! I like the flip top capability too. I am tired of making my own stands and not getting all the features right. This may be my answer.

Unfortunately, this has become one of my regret purchases. You need to lift the retractable arms out to tilt the table onto the wheels (like a trolley)which jam, and are a pain to get into the lock position, then the pins are tricky to unlock again. This means ,if it’s against a wall you have to man handle it out to get enough tilt to move it. I have a dewalt compound mitre saw with a standard 10” blade, and the leveling platforms on either side, won’t go high enough (and are crude and fiddly) to accommodate the height of the saw bed. I know I could put a board on the platform to give me more height, but I feel the whole thing is made cheap to sell cheap. I wonder what you think of it 1 year on?

To be honest I don't use it very often. I have the flip side setup as a workbench and most of the time it is covered with tools and wood. I have probably flipped it 10 times since this review. With that limited use, I have not experienced any big issues. Keep in mind that I am primarily a scroll saw user and a chop saw is not a tool I need very often. My opinion of the unit has not changed much since the review but that has very limited meaning because of limited usage. I appreciate your input. That is what is good about us all doing reviews.

Good review & option instead of building one. Overlooked idea of keeping one flat side for table top instead of automatically tools on both flip sides.

Steve it should be a great addition to your workshop. What size blade are you using?

If I were to put a table top on something like that. It would stay pilled full of stuff and I would never be able to get to the saw attached under it. LOL. I have a 60watt CO2 laser. Sometime I have to clean it off where I have used it as an assembly table.

Steve, awesome training and instructional videos. I saw a video of a somewhat Christmas scene on cast plexiglas. When I drop down to the Amazon links and type in the description it does not take me to the product. Any suggestions? I tried this on other sites with the same results.. THANKS A LOT, Keep on making sawdust....

is this table sturdy enough to mount a tool on one side .. like a planer? and then a oscillating sander on the other side? The JET is .. for the same price, but, the JET does not have the sides that fold up like that. For my BIG DEWALT sliding compound miter saw - I had to go with the RIDGID miter saw stand, much nicer than the DeWalt (which my son has) or any other I've found on the market. It goes on sale for about 150 every once in a while. SO Steve .. thoughts on making this a TWO TOOL table .. ???? With one being a DeWalt planer on ONE SIDE ??? It just looks a bit flimsy.

Hi Rick. I had the same thought. I am considering putting another tool on the other side and seeing if it works. I don't want to guess what will happen but when I get around to trying I will let everyone know on the blog. The pivot studs look heavy enough to handle the load but the locking slides are plastic. I may also be in a situation of not being able to comment even if it works because of liability so I'll have to contact the manufacturer and see what they say about safety.

Oh man. Just clicked on the affiliate link you provided. The reviews are terrible. Looks like it's good for LIGHT tools, though, but not heavy tools. I think I'll make one or go with the JET. And I have a garage full of BORA products - they make my small shop so much easier to get around. I even put my Garage freezer and refrigerator on their bora-mate wheeled tool bases. hahahahaha .. love BORA.

Hi Rick. Out of over 600 reviews, it has a 4.4 out of 5. When I read the reviews and try to weed out the ones that don't jive with my experience with the tool I think it is reviewed pretty well. I will say that I like the JET brand better so that is a good option.

Thanks for the video. Do you feel the stand is strong enough to withstand opening and closing the wings several times, or will this thing break within about 20 uses? Looking at using it in my basement workshop so I don't think it will get moved around, but I like the flip capability so I could see adjusting it back and forth. I just don't want this $300 item to break down after 20 uses.

I have not had the Bora system long enough to give a confident recommendation about its durability but from my short time with it, I am not concerned about it breaking under normal use. None of the parts seem to be under any serious stress.

Some people are telling me that when they click the link they get a different price than $299. I thought that $299 was a quite reasonable price for this considering what it would cost to DIY something similar. A guy from Canada told me his price came in at over 1000 CDN. That is way overpriced and I would not recommend this at that price.

@@stevegood3224 at $299 I’d buy 2. I clicked and saw $2245 for 2.
