If World of Warcraft does something right, it's the music. Never fails. Going to listen to these songs long after I stop playing this game. My hat off to you lovely people designing these masterpieces!
Music and general thematic design, especially with relatively low polygon/model complexity. Even to this day WoW runs on fairly low spec hardware compared to most MMOS. That said... character animations in WoW are really bad. That's one thing I really wish they'd borrow from FFXIV, because even in Shadowlands, the few times they even try to give characters expressions it just looks like a snake unhinging their jaw at best.
My like and subscription !!! Sorry for the google translator: Thank you so much for the video! A whole hour of pleasure! My favorite city in the game, I don't even know how much I spent there. I remember exactly when I got to Boralus for the first time, I fell out of real for four hours and kept wandering and wandering through its streets, alleys, nooks. I went into almost all the houses, examined the situation, which was always at least somehow, but different from the furnishings of other houses in the city. I went out onto the balconies and admired the views, I could just sit on one of them, watch the life below and "breathe" the atmosphere of the city. And the city is really alive, you can watch a bunch of funny scenes and eavesdrop on the conversations of residents. I only stood at the fish market for about 15 minutes watching how the fisherwoman deftly throws fresh fish to the merchants, and the poor horse, hanging on the belts for transportation, is screaming! = o))) 53:23 But special thanks for THIS! This is my favorite tavern in Boralus, how long have I been dancing next to a girl and a peasant to the accompaniment of a dwarf musician = o))) Sometimes other players ran in and also joined our dances. Hmm .. strange, but for some reason I don’t remember the name of the tavern .. for me it’s just MY = o)
Kul Tiras is one of the best well rounded zones in the entire game. The visuals are on another level, the soundtracks are beautiful, epic and thematic to your current location. Even the NPCs look and sound good. In my opinion it's at least on a level with Northrend, maybe even above it... If only we had the Alpacas over here :(
*I once mained the Horde and always talked shit about the Alliance all the time but then one day I xferred Alliance just to honestly feel what it is to be Alliance and when I logged on I heard **39:43**..... And my heart melted... I realized how amazing it was to be in the Alliance and till this day I will never look back* Void Elf forever
I was an Alliance boy a long time ago, but I've played Horde to experience both perspectives. The result: I have started to love the game, the lore around it. I have respect for both factions. Salutations :-)
@@BlueShadeProductions only Howling Fjord? This isn't even the best of BFA, I think... Though I really dig the Boralus harbor/general ones and the Outlaw harbor one.
The details the put inside and around every building in this town, they really created a masterpiece. The music really captures the area and brings everything to life.
Through the years, Wow has had numerous excellent themes and great music. I think this expansion is one of the most beautiful. You just want to spend time there.
The part from 4:00 to 6:24 is so damn beautiful, it sounds just like a classical music composition, if i were to listen to it without context for the first time I'd have thought without hesitation that it was something from the 18th century's German or Russian composers genius, especially the part at 5:46 i love it a lot
Boralus music makes me feel invincible! So grateful for your channel, WoW music is all I listen to when I work, clean the house, warm up my voice, cook!! :D
You like it because it is with rain ambience? Full list of _Kul Tiras_ tracks here (in the Tiragarde Sound video): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yg03nLnbF3M.html
Hey Catrena, Happy you like it. :) What I can do for you: - write me an email and I'll send you files so you can play it yourself on your music player (my email is in the _About_ section of the channel's page); - you can listen the entire suite in the Arathi Highlands video (link here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9dvyYUUuTk0.html) Salutations :)
Meisio I’m so sorry that I didn’t respond sooner! I didn’t get a notification. I looked at your about and didn’t see an email. Maybe I missed it. Thank you so so much for offering that!! It means so much.
Finally stumbled onto that bar near the end of the video and notice the dwarf was named after Russel Brower. That was pretty awesome. The whole city is just amazing. Kind of sad everyone kind of huddles in one small area.
I've listened/watched this particular vid many times, but for some reason the melody of the first rain section hit different tonight. Thank you once again for making these awesome ambient soundtrack/map tour videos!
Just came back to WoW. I love the music more than the game lol. Fantastic work compiling this; wish that they had a proper album for all the ambience music.
First song (0:30)... also Minute 23:00, Minute 33:00, minute 37:00, minute 50:00, minute 55:25 reminds me when I did not had no pressure, nothing to worry about, when I was free, when I had a Souldhild without worries and when I was just concerned to be the guy on the guild that can heal the most in raiding :')
I don't know or understand the hate this got. I LOVED Boralus! It was my favorite place. The music, the land..stunning! Now that next expansion that came after this with that afterlife stuff...caused me to quit!
42:08 the most heroic and badass part of the whole soundtrack... everytime when I'm in bolarus and hear this part, no matter if I'm in a rush, I just keep listening till the end!
After just commenting on another video of yours, about maybe slowing intro down a little, I also want to add, “You are an Artist.” We see and appreciate what you are trying to do. You will not be able to please everyone but you are doing good work. Important work.
It's been a while since someone called me an _artist._ (like 10 years or more!?) :) And regarding the intros, no worries, I respond well to criticism. I'm trying to understand it and learn from the feedback. Thank you again for the support :)
When you just go to the capital palace to drop some quests and you just stay an listen... 39:53, But then... 41:19 when i heard this for the first time i almost cried, the best musical experience in my whole life...
I really love the 00:32 boralus harbor music, it is very epic. ugh so many epic tracks in this xpac. also Kul Tiras Sky Night 6 32:43 just great. You can really see how the composer has matured over the years. The entire ost is a masterpiece.
Over 10 years ago Glenn Stafford composed the most remarkable soundtracks for Starcraft Wings of Liberty. In fact, he designed the entire musical perception of the game that way. What a talented person, really.
I'll never understand the Stark difference between the quality of zone design and the music in world of Warcraft compared to all the other things that are driving people away from the game I mean the music in this game is so good
Excellent work, Meisio! I found your videos very inspiring for both work and relaxing. By the way, it is WoW's music that made me actually play the game one day!
They have 1 composer in common Leo Kaliski, that might be the explanation :) Void Elf Music - Clint Bajakian, *Leo Kaliski* Kul Tiras Sky - David Arkenstone, *Leo Kaliski* :) Thank you for your visit!
BFA had its faults as an expansion but this is one of the best tracks they’ve ever done in this game. Makes you feel like you’re ready for a sea voyage!
By the way, I feel like one music theme is missing in this mix (and maybe in Tiragarde's one). It's called Kul-Tiran Human and it's from the patch 8.1.5. For example, it's periodically played in the Harbormaster's office.
I love the work Blizzard did with the music this expansion, perfect tone for every area or hour in the game. I mean, was long time ago, if even at all, that I rather listen to the ingame music instead of Spotify while questing and doing daily quests, but in this expansion I rather listen to what the game got to offer. LOVE THIS.
As someone who is listening all the time Blizzard music / or sometimes just I am turning it off to hear the ambience, I don't know what you are talking about! Joking :) Yes, the soundtrack on BfA is really great :) Thank you for watching!
I cant find the exact bit but it is the same tune as 28:14... pops up ingame sometimes but is only like cello and something else... real punchy, plays once then again with an oboe or flute over then stops. first bit with cello and maybe viola sounds awsome.
Yes and no. It's _sold_ like a sub-zone in another zone, but it's treated by the developers like a zone. It has its own map (drive.google.com/open?id=1VVYMG_gFtTvv9RCy12eyWwPik9tO-MWx). It's just like Stormwind & Elwynn Forest, Suramar & Suramar City, Dun Morogh and Ironforge etc.. P.S.: May I ask why you disliked the video? I hope it's not competition based. Would be honored to get to know each other better. Happy to make new friends! (also, would like to mention that I am subscribed to your channel and I listen music from you from time to time). No grudge here! :)
Hehe :) Thank you. Like I've said, no grudge! Maybe it is a start to get to know each other better. Your channel inspired me on my _quest_ with this channel :) So thank you once again!
@@Negarkasify It is single on it's own! It's Jaina Proudmoore's theme from MoP. I like to call it "Jaina's Peace" theme, since it plays in the end when she gets the opposing fleet to surrender.
Theres a certain piece that plays when your in Boralus Harbor I can't find. It matches I think with "The Curious Octopus Tavern (Mariner's Row)" or "Tiragarde Sound Taverns Day 2" but has a choir of sailors singing along. It plays when I leave the tavern usually at night I think.
all of Kul Tiras zones are so beautiful and the music is epic im almost done with all horde zones and oh gosh im glad im maining alliance in bfa, 2 zones of jungle/swamp are too much, i cant stand it anymore too much green , voldun isn better with brown and more brown its only my personal taste, other players may find Kultiras not that appealing and really like jungle zones
I haven't finished the questing in all zones, but I take your word for it. I'll definitely play both Horde and Alliance, because I'm very much interested in finding out the story from both ends. Salutations Yoru Ni and thank you for sharing this with us! :) Meisio
I'm with you. Changed sides after 6 years playing only horde just because the alliance allied races and zones and I don't regret it. Drustvar is simply beautiful with the music and the ambience, i'm addicted to it.
Aw sick, panning shots. I thought the addon that made this possible wasn't available anymore. You're edging on Everness's territory, mate! (and I don't mind because the video is very high quality)
I remember playing as horde, then when leigon came out I played as a nelf hunter, and grew onto alliance, and now I fully go to the alliance side, and sometimes my parents don't like that, but I'll always remember they played alliance until miss of pandaria
Thank you Patrick! I appreciate the support! :) Depending on what I will find when I will asses everything (environment finished, NPCs mechanics decent and music tracks in a good shape) this might be my next BfA movie, yes. Soon I hope! It's a lot of work! :)
Please do Zuldazar! I'm despairing because Boralus looks so wonderful from these shots, and everything I've seen so far of Zuldazar makes it look pretty dull. I'm hoping they all just didn't have your eye for a good shot.
Hey, Do not worry, Zuldazar is stunning! I've nearly finished the footage on Zuldazar, will take me few days to get it out. I think it will look good but you guys can be the judge of that ;)
Great ! @Meisio Just wondering, what did you use to capture the game with these smooth camera movements ? I'm looking for something like Free far sight... but you know, no news ^^
