I tore through TVHM with a fastball I got at the start of it. I only bothered farming for a new fastball, a DPUH and a slagga for UVHM and had a decent start there.
***** You can play borderlands how ever you'd like, just i really don't like how the majority of the Salvador players disregard all the other characters like Zer0 and Axton just because they can dual wield with a fucking grog nozzle and become invincible what's the actual fun and strategy in that?
+King Serb I believe Axton is that character that you truly have to know in and out to actually get some decent use out of. I already see some of his weaknesses while i'm trying to solo terra ON NORMAL. Though he definitely is my favorite out of all of the Vault hunters I'm probably going to do a run of Maya og Sal to Get some knowledge in dat BL databank
Axton sniper with grenade skills and longbow turrets is nothing short than awesome, just throw the turrets where the enemy has a bad time shooting them but in a way that they still draw aggro, slag the couple guys that didn't get slagged by the turrets and shoot away, then you can always backup by throwing either fastball grenades or magic missile. About his usual problems with sniping and critical damage, it seems that people forget about badass tokens and the fact Axton can improve his base damage. You've been playing long enough, you'll probably be already able to get yourself a 100% badass boost to either crit damage or base gun damage, sure the randomized list has the bad habit of trying to balance everything out but just pick the two options every single time they appear, you'll be fine
Excellent, Excellent! You must have the right weapons, shields, relics to win the fight. Amazing strategy, skill. I truly enjoyed this vid Man of low Fiber. Thank you brother!!
+Akuma Tokkou Fuckin' lol! No it doesn't! It doesn't come close to maintaining 60fps, and it's definitely not constant. Especially at end game. The ps4 is a pile of shit.
+Akuma Tokkou No, the PS4 doesn't come close to maintaining 60 fps. I'm not whining, child. You have a shit platform that is not suitable for gaming. Games on the PS4 suffer because they are on the PS4. Borderlands 2 is one of those. The PS4 is a piece of shit. It cannot compete with PC.
Luke I was wondering if there's a specific way to use the pimpernel, every time I use it I try to go for critical hits and it's always inconsistent damage. Whenever I watch you use it, you maintain consistent damage. Do you have to go for center mass? It's probably the fact that I don't snipe often, I play more of a shotgun to the face play style. If you respond thank you for your time and response.
Shoot the Ground, you see a 2nd bullet fly up and split into 5 pellets, the point where the bullets split is the "maxdmg" point... Check out lukes older videos, it should be 1 of the first 50.
Wasn't there an orange grenade mod in the chest that was in the Black Queen room or am I seeing things? 26:20 I want to be so gangsta at this game that I completely disregard legendary drops in chests
i use badaboom with axton shame shield op8 badaboom slagga dp unkempt harold lv15 badaboom for ammo recovery simply slag everything with my slagger then kill it with the badaboom and using the 2, badaboom for ammo recovery and unkempt harold for secound wins
@NioWulf, little late here(played along time not) but BL 2 is Timeless, so i play again :-) just wanna say i use same setup and its awesome, Slagga/Badabooms/double- P-Harold..it rocks..maybe Norfleet are better? but i still havent one :-(
personally my favorite thing to do with axton (I guess it could be considered an exploit) is get drunk, activate all my kill skills and grenade boosts, then shoot the hive at Saturn. It just feels right since he's a giant pile of health with no crit spot.
So this video was uploaded almost a year ago, but I'll just hope for an answer anyway. First off, I don't know much about the game, so bear with me. I was wondering how you get more than 1 Pimpernel (obviously all at the same level)? Because for all I know you get it from the mission "Dont Copy that Floppy" (or something like that) which you can only do once per playthrough. Is it really just playing the whole game several times at OP8 or am I missing something?
there is a way to "farm" a mission item but I dont remember nor know if it still works. also the is a program called gibbed to give any item or stats you want so molmf can just give himself every element.
+bgscheiss first of all, he uses gib save editor to get his gear, and second, you can set your savefile to "read only mode" before you hand in the quest, so you are able to get multiple chances and even multiple versions, i won't go into the detail here, there are plenty of tutorials on how to do that.
While I watched this video I was thinking about my build. Is this a good build? shock norfleet (damage) low level badaboom (rocket anmo) DPUH (secondary damage if accidentally use all rockets) grog (healing purposes) homing bonus package legendary soldier sham/ antagonist ammo relic (for rockets and more health) Is this a good build? This build is mostly dependent on axton's explosive skills.
Why not throw Axtons turret at the huge cliff faces when attacking enemies from range? Wouldn't it take aggro, be hard to hit, AND do damage? Or is the turrets damage output terrible at OP 8?
Luke, one of my friends wants a PC for $700 so would this be a good build? I5 4690k Gtx 970, 8gb of Ram 1tb of space (HDD only) Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo Could you suggest any better parts? Thanks!
anyone care to explain something to me? so once i hit 72 and farm for weapons to complete get to op8, will the default guns even reach op8 and if they do will they be strong enough to farm for op8 guns?
I highly doubt it. Generally when I am going for OP levels I will farm a bit at 72, get some lendendaries, and run through the peak a few times, then when I simply can't run through the peak again (normally about every 3-4 OP levels) I'll go off and farm some new gear. I would recommend farming a DPUH every 2-3 OP levels as well as grabbing a few usefull Sarephs. The antagonist works well, a slag o-negative, the sareph bonus package that I can't remember the name of, and anything else you think synergizes with you character.
How is he dealing so much damage without the Bee? I'm level 57 Maya, and i find that i do not do so much damage, the Bee seems to be "necessary"...what am i doing wrong?
Man of Low Moral Fiber I'm trying to avoid reading guides (i did read something, ofc) so i am experiencing all by myself. With the bee the damage is outstanding, but i'm squishy. Gonna try something else, the Tresher (the main mission's one) was oneshotting me lol. If you have any advice, can you give it to me? Just be general, i don't want to be spoiled about a specific item or specific item-synergies i am supposed to find alone.
The high hp demands slagging or burst dmg guns. So get a reputable slagger/grenade will greatly help. Bee I only use for raid boss farming since it cuts kill times but even then its not significant as it was in pre UVHM. DPUH is good for close range, maggie is great for mid to close, a bit further than the DPUH for example.
it's the quasar's special ability, always has 0 fuse time and either way its possible to get 0 fuse time on other grenades through them dropping in-game
Lance Ryder I got an advice for you. Lets say you have a profile with a mission for pimpernel done, but still not turned out. Go to the folder where you have your bl2 saves. Make a copy of the save where you have that mission. Then create as many profiles as you really want/need to get all of the elements. But remember to name every of these saves diffrently to not overwrite them. So basically, save 0001, 0002, 0003, you got the drill. Then just use claptrap stash to get pimpernels to your main profile.
Take in a friend or a second controller. Then turn in the mission and give the weapon to you friend/second controller. Let you friend/second controller save and quit. After that you will dashboard/alt f4. Your friend/second controller will still have the weapon and you will still have the mission ready to turn in.
Stuart Haram Unique weapons, with the exception of the Fibber, always have one barrel. I'm thinking of making a video on weapon parts and stuff eventually.
The skill build you use with Axton is quite bad I personally play axton at op8 and have no trouble shredding enemy's personally you are using bad guns and a bad skill build
