A good thing to remember is that non-elemental weapons get 20% less damage against armor, so it's usually best to shoot the loaders eyes, since that always counts as neutral.
Even though this weapon is certainly not as good as some others in the base game and not really that viable it's really fun to use in normal mode when it can actually one-hit almost all enemies.
i'm surprised they didn't just go the fire rate route. i would of boosted the damage more considering you won't really use critical ascention, maybe around 3 mil power. that would take into account of the fire rate and would turn it into a real "bet everything on 1 shot" cannon (something i would like to see for the unforgivab-i mean, unforgiven)
I recently had this weapon with axton dough. I didn't have a good alternative, that's why I loved it. It was by far the strongest sniper rifle I had for many levels.
Yo, just wanted to point out that the damage number you got for the Purple Snider in the beginning had a stack of CA added on. The stack didn't fade before you fired, so that's part of the reason why the damage was so high
@@TheFarthan that wasn't the reason. The reason is it can't crit, and compared to other non unique etech pistols( which also suck) it has less damage. They now fixed it by increasing its damage by 25%, giving it 3 projectiles, and decreasing its ammo consumption
Would u ever consider doing a video on the Pimpernels sweet spot, I know that would be helpful for me but it may be helpful to some of your other viewers
Hey I just wanted to let you know that you're my favorite BL youtuber and your humor is hilarious to me and I just find comfort in watching your videos especially in my very last day of high school and getting kicked out of my house in the same day.
Got the Sleech working! :D Check out discord for some screenshots, I can tell you right away that the new additional slag effect (100 % chance) on the Leech grenade is a blast! EDIT: And it's available on github! Happy slagging!
I'm going to be honest I wasn't used to snipers and I found this sniper and it helped me so much bc it improved my accuracy with the lower fire rate and help me to use more snipers throughout game
I always understood Buffalo and EG as something you should use in pair with Invader, for instance. Stacking critical hits with a rapid firing gun, and performing rare, but powerful shots with a bolt action. I actually love this gun, because it's offer unique usage expirience, IMO. That iron sights w/o scope and bolt acting I mean. EG sucks at this point, because it has no iron sights and that is grants some kind of displeasure to use for me.
This might be a damn fine gun to use almost exclusively in deception with a full mag, then switch to a faster, more consistent rifle. Could go really nicely with all the potential damage boosts available in deception, including kill confirmed (you can afford to zoom in longer when not getting shot. I also occasionally used this weapon in earlier playthroughs, and would reload after my first shot. It is barely slower, and zer0 can also get the damage bonus from osok doing that (combined with his ludicrous reload speed buffs)
This would also almost definitely work beautifully with the morningstar buff that you recently covered. Get about five stacks of that buff, and switch to this bad boy in deception. My goodness.
To me, the buffalo is a two sided coin. On one hand, the lack of a scope makes it very difficult to aim. But if your able to land crits that easily, the other part of this rifle is that it can one hit almost every enemy. With a LVL48 variation of the buffalo, the damage upon getting a crit would be a total of 171K. Which is around 171,000 with the added +65% weapom damage alongside the +180% critical hit damage. So it does seem like its not a very bad gun overall.
give it a vladof barrel or grip to boost that fire rate to 1 or hopefully more and you can switch back to the legendary sniper com, that'll give you the damage boost rather then the scope shroud. unfortunately the fire rate booster is on the scope too.
Buffed or not buffed this weapon does not suck because it comes in Borderlands 2 as a weapon with collectible value. It's kind of awesome just to have it in your inventory and to shoot weak enemies for fun. Honestly, Dukino's mom always forcing me to duck behind the elevator console. She always kill the bandits superfast and before I empty one clip of bullets on her, she's already coming for my ass and no bandits around. I often fall in fight for life mode as her jumps sometimes succeed through the elevator console and I die of course. She's pain in the ass in the old mine and at digistruct peak. I really hate fighting her. My melee attacks with Krieg are doing almost nothing and I have Rapier, amazing relic that is giving me a higher percentage of melee damage, I have a great class mode, I have Hide of Terra, skill trees and the whole build is about Krieg's melee damage and still I'm slagging her and throwing the buzz axe, hitting her with melee attacks from close distance and NOTHING man... it's frustrating. Really it is :(
I’m new to borderlands and I’m pretty confused as to how you got the quest reward weapon with such high stats. Also, what does the overpower level 8 mean? Great video nonetheless!
How about the Tresspasser? As far as I recalled you basically called it the single worst unique Sniper Rifle in the entire game in your original does it suck video.
Gabriel Espíndola I think it would make sense to make it's base damage equal to it's damage prefix counterpart but still allowing us to get the critical prefix and such. It would compensate for the Buffalo's awful fire rate and lack of scope in my opinion.
how about, 10mil base dmg , consumes 5ammo/shot, has 0.1 fire rate, but has a mag size of only 5 with high reload speed.. so every time you get 1shot 1kill bonus.
