Borderlands 2: Farming Legendary Snipers with Melee Zer0 

I’ve been playing Gaige for about a week now and it gives me a heart attack every time I see someone reload

Hey Man of Low Moral Fiber, first I want to say thank you for making me want to give Zero a try, for a while I was solely a Gaige player, but after seeing your videos I wanted to try Zero out and I've had a lot of fun with him. As I played Gaige, I've tried a variety of play styles with her. While I've thought about using the Black Hole shield in combination with a Shock Bone of the Ancients and her skill that flat out gives Shock and Electrocute Damage, I always find myself using the Flame of the Firehawk Shield as well as speccing Deathtrap with best friends forever. Something about having your summon freely float around the map while constantly shooting out novas while you as well shoot out constant novas is pretty fun. But I just wanted to throw my two cents in as someone who enjoys playing Gaige. I hope you play her and have as much fun as I did when I first played her. Also if you do end up using Blood Soaked Shields (Which is an amazing skill) if you use her other skill Unstoppable Force if you get a kill, then lose your shield you'll only send off one nova of the Firehawk Shield before it starts regenerating. Disregard this if you end up using the Black Hole Shield.

The second jump is easier if you press space while not touching the conveyor you are trying to jump on. So you get anlittle distance between you and the higher belt you are trying to jump onto.

I play a lot of Gaige and Black Hole + Blood Soaked Shields has always been really good. Specially with a lightning build now with the community patch

Things like Terramorphous themed gear, the cursed pirate gear, and the Tiny Tina gear make me wish Borderlands had gear sets with bonuses like in other loot based RPGsz

Hey there Luke, I'm not sure if you're aware but if you use Decepti0n while aiming down sights, you skip the throw animation which takes you out of danger much faster. You'll get used to just tapping right click for long enough to throw the skill and no longer, which makes you feel much more fluid while playing. Several times I've found myself in a situation where if I threw it normally I'd have got downed in the half second animation.

MoLMF, you should consider doing another playthrough. I loved the zer0 one. Maybe Axton seen as you are playing him more? Anyway love the content, keep it up.

The best way up the conveyor system is to stay to the left side, on the railing (not the belt itself), on the first conveyor belt then jump do the same thing on the 2nd belt.

Melee Gaige is now slightly more viable after the UCP. I could also make some recommendations, if you want.

Gaige with the Legendary Catalyst is really fun since the ucp buffed dot.

Best for that hide of terra shield, would be a truly unique ability: the shield doesn't need to fully recharge in order to produce a nova

Sometimes having a Vladof grip on this weapons is really good just because of that increased fire rate, i wonder that perfect parts shock pitchfork would be like for Pete’s shield?

Hey luke, on the blcm mod page there are gemstone redux versions, which make the vladof weapons look so much better.

I'm interested in the Fuster Cluck because I'm using it for a Jakobs grenade mod I'm working on right now.

I'm gonna comment on what you said about gaige. With the coms tweeks mod abd community patch, you can give her a lot of movement speed and I built a gaige around maximising that. With something like a rock ravanger and a lot of anarchy you can really dart between enemies quickly and it's really fun and engaging deciding the order to kill the enemies in a room and running around shields and barriers.

There's a pretty good agility relic mod on BLCM that buffs move speed and jump height, after playing a while as Fleet Maya I couldn't go back to normal speed.

3 days ago i was farming with salvador a hide for my lvl 50 melee zero and i got a grounded one and i pass it cuz i was thinking i can't break it with a chain lightning....

Seraph Crystals can only be obtained on UVHM. Not sure if the community patch has done anything to change this

Hey Luke, there is actually a chest on this building on the cliff at about 1:07:18 so if you ever decide to come back to farm for a better variant, you might as well open that one.

MoLMF, I've never had an issue with that conveyor belt deal. Maybe your issue is you running into the wall before jumping? I've always just went directly for the platform.

On the conveyer belt that you had trouble on. Just look straight at it and jump on it, or run jump. Get some distance.

Hey luke. I'm pretty sure the community patch lets you change the lucrative opportunity and make it into a movement speed relic. But I think you need to enable it in the filter tool. I don't remember. Check it out

Could not agree more, it seems the game is streaky. I seem to go on runs. Today with a low level character I was farming eridium at the slot machines in sanctuary, and I got grenades 5 times in a row. The first three were both machines. It was crazy. Then I had a nice eridium run, getting 50+ in 10 or so tries. Same thing for farming. Very snow for a long time, then super hot.

Hey MoLMF you should do a 1-OP8 maya (or whatever character you want) playthrough. Ngl I think it would be a breath of fresh air for the channel and with the community patch, it would be a lot more entertaining than the zer0 playthrough. Zer0 is a fantastic character, but a new character would be nice to see.

Orphan maker + black hole + blood soaked shields and unstoppable force is pretty much the only way i can play gaige. You don't even need close enough since you're so fast to constantly be at point blank range.

You should retest the Wanderlust with the community patch

Just look at the second conveyor belt won't holding the D button and then jump while holding W and you should make it up I don't know why you're facing the opposite way

The jump you have issues with is alot easier to make if you don't stop moving. If you just sprint through it it will be easier

I first played zero. Got halfway thru uvhm then started gaige to tvhm.

blood soaked shield with the black hole shield is really fun but gaige is my favorite i find her the most enjoyable anyway but that is my favorite thing to do with her

Joltzdude139 did something really cool on his road to OP8 Gaige that had something to do with blood soaked Shields and the black hole. Can’t remember what it was but it was really interesting to see.

im sure youve been told 500 times int he comments already....but that second conveyor jump into the other conveyor is not hard. i almost never miss it.......you are running up against the other one then jumping stright up and trying to guide yourself in the air. dont touch the other conveyor before you jump. jump back from it a bit so you jump forward instead of straight up.
