Borderlands 2: The Hydra- Does it Suck?! 

I've been working on all jakobs gun set ups on different characters and I'm finding it harder to find jakobs shotguns that don't work than do work well. Not only pretty much all the red text ones work on op8 but almost every barrel on a purple one works, hell many are even amazing with different prefixes. The striker, orphan maker, twister, hydra, triquerta, tidal wave, quad, bushwack, coachgun, longrider all work. Vertical grip and crit acc are usually the best but accessories like moon clip, shotgun shell, increasing mag size can bring a 2 shot to 3 making it really deadly. Anyone who says jakobs shotguns don't work on uvhm are full of shit and people should stop listening to them *cough cough goth cough cough*

Adding a point to Execution is also good for knocking back the enemy. If there are psychos that keep moving their head violently, I execute them so they can have their knock-back animation, giving you time to hit their critical spot as they hold still.

I have watched a ton of these. And I really appreciate you doing them, because I honestly don't have the time to get all the guns, so it helps me to be more focused on where I spend my time. Major kudos & appreciation for that. Not a "but" to that, I do find it amusing how uncompromising you are in terms of EXP loaders. Even in a video where the point of it is to show how capable the gun is, you will not use it to kill them because the most efficient way to kill them is for it to kill itself. lol.

Something that would be pretty funny; If you make it to the Hyperius gate without much trouble, use whatever weapon it was on a hyperius attempt. I wonder if any of the ones you've done could do it...

I really like all Sir Hammerlock's weapons. Fits my play style, I suppose.

While we're on shotguns could you do the Triquetra? I love using it on krieg at low levels but have never tried it on op8. The pocket rocket would be interesting also, I've heard people say that it is better than the Harold.

How about the little eevie? It rekt face in TVHM, how does it compare at op8?

For shotgun zer0, is it good to have a grog nozzle in your loadout? Whenever i get low on hp, deception+kunais heal you staight to full and procs deathmark. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone

Luke, could you do one on the triquetra shotgun? You get it from the clan wars mission

You wanna know how to use it? Get close as hell to enemies. Throw out a deception decoy. Throw your kunai. Fire one shot with the Hydra + slag + deathmark. There you go just killed 4+ enemies at once. I actually really enjoy it while playing as melee Zer0 because due to the firing pattern it can get crits pretty easily; every gun aside from the Wanderlust has it's use, you're just not using the Hydra right

I think you could easily take on bloodshot or southpaw if you played it right. Try it out, don't death mark 1 person, hit everyone then clean up
