Something i started doing to keep my samples organized is create a year folder then within that make folders for each quarter of the year then if i was downloading multiple things to sample at once id save those to a folder with the days date. As for saving beats i really just keep it simple to saving stuff i like into one folder for the year then stuff i worked on for a but wasnt really feeling and might come back to into another for that year

Quick tip, have an Edison on the master constantly recording. You can set it to loop record for like 3 mins or something constantly. If you do something by mistake or like the way something sounded, the last 3 mins of audio is right there to grab in Edison at any time

Yeah but at 2:00 what about Windows' Created Date attribute? Just sort by Created Date instead of Name

Cauae if you move all your files for backup the date gets corrupted plus u can just type the date in the searchbar and it shows all files from that date

Agreed, I think the one you showed really is the best for organizing. I work as a graphic designer, and our office actually uses the exact same structure for all the files on our servers. @@gamivibes
