You by saying "i'm against vaccine mandates" at the beginning of the set - really makes it a lot easier to laugh at the jokes... Comedians who are truly trying to be funny and not "push their own agenda" should try this. Russell Howard and Jimmy carr made some jokes on the subject of covid - they were funny but at the same time, I wanst sure if they were trying to make me laugh or get the vaccine. Edit; I think some comedians take the vaccine way too seriously, which is the job of the public. Comedians should just laugh at the absurdity of the whole situation rather than laughing at individuals who "don't get that vaccines are a gift from science".
@D2M5 Fair point. I'm pro-vaccine and pro-science... Though I have been anti-mandate throughout the pandemic. I also think public shaming or coercion is wrong.

It’s an experimental set. Lots of comedians bring notes and laptops to these events, they’re training grounds for their own tours. Anyway I’m a year late, no one cares anymore, I’m off.
That laptop says a lot about the state of British comedy, the best joke being that he made the jokes up on the tube, probably cos its true, sounded like it. About as edgy as a snow globe, funny as ya dad, hope this was the warm up set, disappointing 20 quid or whatever if you went that night, be good to see some of the good stuff like BC. Yorn.
That particular vaccine was developed by BioNTech - a German company. Despite Pfizer helping mainly with just trials and manufacturing it has become known as the “Pfizer vaccine”
I hope for your sake your are just joking about being vaxxed. Otherwise don't be holding back your best material for a rainy day . That would not be prudent. Go out swinging.
