Borla Exhaust for 2022+ Toyota GR86 & Subaru BRZ 

I had the last one too. Didn’t fit properly. Had a ton of drone as well. It’s likely why they are marketing these as “no drone” models.

@@Jaylyons1 this is odd, I have the older model on the new gr86 and fitment was perfect, and I don't get any kind of drone at any rpm

Does it just fits or I need to do some adapter? I bought one already but my friend that is helping me was asking. And me with out knowing too much about car didn't even thought about it might not fit? But why would they sell it if it doesn't fit with the oem parts 😂 So I'm in a loop

@@待-k9i hey I also had the same issue with the gasket. The place I got it installed got the leak taken care of somehow but. Also I do get a drone but not sure why. I would reach out to Borla to see what they say.

Hi! Although we've seen some customers use our system for the first generation on the second generation cars, it is not something that we recommend doing. Here are the decibel measurements. Please note, we use the SAE J1492 test standard which is a stationary test. Testing is performed on a stock car with the exception of our Cat-Back system. The stock exhaust averaged 72.5 decibels, the S-Type averaged 89.3 decibels, and the ATAK averaged 93.8 decibels. These systems have been released and are now available to order.

I have the gen1 S-type in my GR86 and it fits perfect.

Unfortunately, we don't have a system with ECE-approval for the GR86. The ATAK and S-Type sound levels exceed the EU sound limits.

Hi! This exhaust system will have better tip alignment for the second gen BRZ/GR86 and the tips are also slightly bigger at 5". This S-Type sound level is also going to be a bit more aggressive than the previous generation S-Type.

Hello! Yes, this should work on the EU spec cars. The flange that our system bolts up to is in the same location. It does not remove the GPF. It may sound slightly different due to the GPF.

These Cat-Backs are different from the previous generation systems. Our current rough estimate is a mid to late Q1 release.

Hi! Sound is the only difference. The ATAK is more aggressive than the S-Type, but the S-Type will have a deeper note.

Hi! The 2nd gen S-Type is going to be a bit more aggressive than the previous gen. It also has a different exhaust tip that is now available in chrome and black chrome.

The muffler section would fit. The bigger 5" tips would be close to touching the bumper. With that said, unfortunately, we do not sell components separately from our exhaust systems.
