The video helped me decide, I just installed the touring on my 2011 GT. Perfect for what I wanted!!!! Well done Borla, and thanks for the hat that came in the box. They could add a stock car to the comp at the end, otherwise one of the best examples I've seen and I've been searching a lot.

This is such a great video. Borla is such a great company, the only exhaust I'll ever spend my money on. I have a full catback on my truck accompanied with a set of nice headers and I get compliments every day!!! Had the exhaust for 3 years no leaks nothing. Thanks Borla!!!

I just installed the s type on my 5.0 yesterday and man do i love it. Very very smooth flow and not much different than stock when cruising , but when u get on it sure does sound amazing !

Anyone reading this. Take my advice. Get the ATAK or regret it later. It is very civilized in town but truly makes your heart pound when out hooning.

@Stangrocka302 Thanks! We actually designed the 3" system to be used with our long tube headers which are part number 17263. Since long tube headers change the sound dramatically, and also increase the volume of air running through the exhaust, some enthusiasts have asked for a 3" system designed to integrate with our headers. As far as the muffler design, it's closest to an S-Type but we didn't distinguish it because there's only one sound level for our 3" system.

I have borla longtube headers with offroad x pipe and the atak it sounds like a race car it's loud when you want it to be and quite when cruising you can talk crap all you want about these but they are built strong perfect install amazing warranty can't go wrong with them

I have Borla Stingers on my 08 GT and there hasn't been a single day where I start my "Stang and I smile doesn't go across my face.

Trust me. the S-type exhaust on the new 5.0 is amazing. It is definitely worth its price. you won't regret it. I had more compliments in one day with the S-types compared to GT500 axle backs that I had before that installed for over a year.

An outstanding video, the other performance companies really should emulate this video technique. It makes choosing a product very easy for the customer.

I Must say,,Great, well explained Video..I personally Love The "Back Cackle" on the S Type and Atak...it has the old Glass pack type sound I remember as a kid. My Fowmasters sound great on My '03 GT, BUT, I will say, they do Drone on at the exact cruising speed I'm usually at. I always thought you guys did only riceburners, but now I'm a Convert to Borla... I'm going to order some of These for Mine...I hope they sound as nice with the 4.6 Liter. Thank You for the well done Video.

Fantastic demonstration video, exactly what a consumer needs to help make a decision. Just bought an '11 GT and my mechanic suggested a few exhaust packages, but how the hell should I know. This video sealed it for me. I'm going with a S-Type cat back, behind a Pro Charger Stage II.

The Atak looks like the exaust system for the old Alfa Romeo JK in Brazil, but it has only 4 cylinders and the sound is very diferent. Great job!

Id have to say touring is the best. Since I love knowing that when i want a nice sound all i gotta do is put my foot down but when i wanna relax and take it easy the car also calms down with me :)

Man all three sound great. I think I am bent between two and three.

My tips fit perfect. They do not stick out like some of these Borla videos people have on here. Thts one thing i was worried about but thankfully it fits nice and center and does not stick out to much further than stock tips.

i want the atak for my fox mustang. i wish i can get back fire in a pushrod motor. great sounds guys, my buddy bought the stinger for his terminator and it sound fantastic. (im so jealous).

In your drive away videos, what were the RPM's when you shifted? Sounded like there was a bit of short shifting going on. I would love to hear the ATAK at 6500+ RPM. I am actively searching for an exhaust for my 2013 GT and am leaning toward Borla.

Hello Borla, When you made this video, did you put on the cat-back versions of your exhaust or is this just the muffler? And also, why does the 2011 5.0 not sound as muscle car as the 2005-2009 Mustang GT's with Borla's on them. They just don't seem deep, and raspy enough even with the exhaust?

@borla very cool, which system is this part number? When i look at the site, it doesn't state which muffler it is, touring, s-type, atak. Also, do you make headers to go with this system?

It's not just about volume, but sound quality. IMO, the ATAK Catback is the best sounding exhaust you can buy for the Coyote, when you consider all factors, with the S-type a close second, and Dynomax Race Bullets would probably be my 3rd choice, not quite having the personality (that classic stainless steel muscle car growl, with its certain pitches and melodies) that the Borlas have, but flowing very well and having a very deep, very loud, aggressive kind of hollow bellowing sound under WOT.

DAMN...BORLA IS JUST SO FUCKING GOOD LOOKING.
