The French Riviera is a beautiful region between sea and mountains, but in Bormes-les-Mimosas this mix gets an upgrade with the addition of flowers and green plants. Made famous by the fluffy yellow mimosa flowers brought from Australia by Captain Cook in the mid 1800s, the village blooms every February in a velvety yellow festival which attracts many visitors. Unfortunately, the flowers do not last until summer but the village has many other attractions to offer: the ruins of an old château perched in the hills with a panoramic view of the bay below, cute alleys with pastel coloured houses and many other flowers and plants to go with the medieval decor. Join us to explore this flowered village in a sunny summer day.
