That breakdown is easily one of the best I've ever heard.

Holy Polyrhythm Batman!

This was for Disney too or Blizzard: I love the Blood Elves but their backstory left me a little hungry for something more. I love Lord of the Rings too so I cooked up this story. It's about a large continent with three races on it. Orcs, humans, and Elves. The humans and Elves live in the northern part and the orcs in the south. The Elves are split into two civilizations on the northwest and northeast sides. The western side are Wolf Elves who are primarily hunters and trade timber, leather or other goods to the humans and other Elves. They kinda have a Skyrim like scenery but the coast isn't reachable because of mountains. They are mostly archers but have mages, knights, priests and any other medieval fantasy archetype powers. The humans in the middle are moving towards basic technology like guns and printing but not quite to computers or electronics yet. They are moving away from magic towards industrialization but still have knights, mages and any other medieval fantasy archetype. The Harbor Elves are master sailors and ship builders. They are a little more grandiose than the Wolf Elves but are the same race. Think maybe two different large US states. Same people more or less. They too have magical powers or weapons of any medieval fantasy archetype. The Orcs are warlike and have tried to invade the northern civilizations throughout a bloody history countless times. The middle of the continent used to be a primary battleground but the humans and Elves mostly neutralized the orcs and defend the area very well. Eventually the orcs over populate and attack through the center of the continent and at sea with sizable forces as a distraction. Using an impossibly deadly mountainous path the Orc leader sends hundreds of thousands of orcs to attack the Wolf Elves. Most die and the surviving cannibals man gaps with cadavers. Eventually they kill all the Wolf Elves. The humans return from the center battle to kill the orcs who invaded the wolf elves. The Harbor Elves go south and kill the Orc leader. The few remaining orcs who invaded the Wolf Elves go far northwest and create small villages that pose little threat. The few surviving Wolf Elves banish the humans for their late help. Basically this creates a large forested area of elven ruins. Years after the invasion the story follows a Wolf Elf Archer female protagonist who kills stray orcs who venture from northwestern villages in her past home ruins. She meets an undead human mage with skeletal limbs, a strange wrist gadget (important story arc) and a crystal ball in place of a cranial section. He almost dies saving her from mysteriously strong orcs. He tethers to her soul and they become friends. He tells her humans are turning against magic users and his magic mastery almost had gotten him killed in jealousy many times. They fight more orcs who are again getting strangely stronger. Eventually they run into a Holy Knight who is doing a strange spell with spirits of the dead. It feels wrong so they try and stop him. The holy knight beats them because they are exhausted from the orcs. The holy knight tells them that the Wolf Elf elders are letting the orcs repopulate just enough so fighting stops any new city from being built by humans or Harbor Elves. He says he's channeling the dead to create a holy explosion in the heart of the orc nation. The undead mage teleports them to safety. The Wolf Elf elders silence the Wolf Elf protagonist after she tries to tell them what happened saying the holy knight is beyond her. Eventually they run into a mysterious android, after hunting more orcs, who says that the undead mage's wrist unit (as mentioned upon introducing the undead mage above) detected a huge energy anamoly that had enough explosive force to destroy a planet. The undead mage explains the holy knight is trying blow up orcs because they destroyed his home. The android, seemingly a robot female elf, tells them that the planet exploding disrupts trade routes for superior races with advanced technology on other planets. She directs them to call her if the Holy Knight is seen again. The undead mage knows about other planets and advanced technology. He explains it to the Wolf Elf protagonist who catches on incredibly fast based on her innate acuity and perception. The undead mage is actually hundreds of years old. The Wolf Elf is some kind of chosen one and though she doesn't fully understand advanced technology she gets the gist of it jedi quick. The 3 battle orcs together paging the android early so not to die to waves of even stronger orcs. The android gets severly damaged but they win. The android leaves for emergency repairs. The Archer and mage then run into the Holy Knight at the worst time again. They fight hard and lose. The mage locks the knight in a last second vortex of lightning that will kill them both surging with the holy knights holy shield magic. The Wolf Elf cries that she loves the mage. The Knight winces. The undead mage then explains that 75% of the orcs died in the mountains and scouts thought none would make it to the Wolf Elf cities. He explains no one could foresee a leader throwing away hundreds of thousands of lives just for many thousands to survive. The holy knight gives up his campaign, releases all the spirits then heals everyone. The android returns. The knight tells them of the massacre from a first person perspective. They all join forces and head north to kill the orc villages because they are getting mysteriously more powerful. It turns out they're using Wolf Elf relics to teleport orcs from the south. They go through the portal and kill an orc warlock, return then close the portal the Orc warlock made. After they confront the Wolf Elf elders. Here is my back story, poetry and pitches.
