This makes me feel so bad for him. I get that the elves are afraid of death, because they're not used to it, but that doesn't give them the right to ban Pyrokenitics. If they didn't, Fitan might still be a counciler, and Jolie wouldn't be dead. Don't get me wrong, Fintan has done some bad things, but he wouldnt've if the Council didn't ban his ability.

Ok so I feel like Fintan also does have a bit of a brokenness I mean imagine that you were one of the world leaders but after an incident they ban you from being a councillor cause of ur ability and you go from loved to feared and talentless. ...Hurt People, Hurt People...I'd rather be heartless than have my heart in pieces... It hurts because Fintan realizes his mistakes, but chooses to lock them away in his cache than remember them. His cache is also why his mental state is way better than Brant's, he isn't processing the violence and grief just getting rid of it.

before i used to loathe fintan but hearing this song i realized... maybe he isn't so bad. i mean it isn't his fault all elves are so wrong in judging pyrokinetics. this song DEFINATELY suits him!

Honestly, I think this is Fintan singing this to the council. If the council had TAUGHT how to deal with that ability instead of taking the easy path and banning he might have stayed good. I've always disliked the council, but this just makes me despise them more. Sorry for roasting the council but it's just my opinions on this 😊

Every villain has their own story and Fintan was one of them

Fintan's scars go beyond what you can see. He watched the council ban his life, of being a pyrokinetic, and now they blame him for the Neverseen. The council could have looked into doing something about Everblaze, if it was a problem, instead of just banning each and every pyrokinetic from utilizing their ability. Fintan was good and kind before he was told he had to stop doing what he had been doing his entire life. Imagine that you love reading KotLC, but for some reason you, and everyone, are told you can't read it. Fintan was a good person and probably felt as if he had no purpose after he couldn't doing his thing with fire, so did what could behind the councilors backs.

Let’s be honest, the council didn’t do much good when banning an ability :P Also I love your vids!

My biggest gripe with the Council is their handling of pyrokinesis. If they had kept it legal, though made sure that it was closely watched, or maybe banning Everblaze instead, Fintan could still be on the Council, and he wouldn't have joined the Neverseen. Nor would Brant have done so, and so Jolie wouldn't have died. So really, it's the Council's fault Grady resigned from his position as Emissary. They shouldn't have pressured him to take up the mantle once again.

Just a question did you speed the video kotlc nerd because i watched the original and it’s meant to be slower and sound more like a girl (the singer) but anyway it fits him so well, how he used to care and how he doesn’t now. Even when it says “i don’t really care how my silence kills” it’s like when fintan’s locked up he still won’t talk about the neverseen, so his silence might actually get someone to end up dead.
