Borstal Boys Part 1:Juvenile Offenders: 

Ever wondered what happens to children who commit offences that attract a jail term? Well, under Kenyan law, admission to approved schools is limited to children under the age of 15. However, boys 15 years old and above, convicted of crimes can be sent by The Children's Court to a Borstal Institution, or schools for juvenile delinquents. Our reporter Sally Mbilu, sought to find out, just how the juvenile justice system that's still under the administration of the Kenya Prisons Department works, and brings us the first part of our series "Borstal Boys".
