"I will never understand reviews that don't show the beam comparisons. almost everything you said could be found on the box.. why not show beams..* I say to him, "Sure, this info could be found "on the box," but bigpapafoots review is more than just that. As many of you know, I have only been on RU-vid for almost 8 months, July 4, 2023, I had only 2 flashlights I loved lights but didn't have much money, I started reaching out to companies and learning to edit videos. Now, at over 70 lights and 7 knives Since I've been out of work for many years because of pain, I started this youtube to have fun test review items and give honest feedback so people know what to expect when they buy something. He was putting me down for not doing beam reviews in the same video as a tabletop review,also saying I was only doing this for quick money 😆 I am NOT monetized, so there is NO money. Which of the UV lights are actually usable to identify currencies or jewelries? Thanks Also curious about the weights, does it gradually go up for each version?
The v10 and v20-1 are the best. The rest have it on the side and it has to go through the plastic housing which makes it pretty ineffective. I believe the v20-1 is better than the v10 since it has 2 uv emitters compared to the 1 on the v10 but it still works great to check bills and other things.
@@user-wr6wo6vr8r Haha I went ahead and bought both the v10 and v20 months ago, along with many other flashlights since getting into this sickness around that time. yes both v10 and v20 are handy little things that serve different purposes. for me the v10 has a nice warmer tone flood or reading light, the v20 has superior uv like you said, and a tilting head that is useful as a right angle clip on.
Best flashlights for the price for sure I have the v3,v10,and the v20 the only thing so far was the magnet came out of the V10 but super glued it back into place the v3 and v20 are definitely a good grab
Hey, thanks for the comment. Yeah, I have used my v10 so much the silicone plug for the usb fell out. I charged it dozens of times . I agree the price is so great and there are so many uses for them. 😀 I'm hoping to get an outdoor beam review in the next few days. Hey man, since you have used V10 and V20 can you please tell me which one should I go for? I just love their aesthetics, I find v10 better looking coz of the alluminium thingy. What would you suggest? In terms of battery and uptime?
@@itishpaul5797 I would go for the v20 personally because it only costs a little bit more than has better features as for run time they're pretty similar in real life scenarios
@@BIGPAPAFOOT My boot plug vanished in one day, where they are not really designed well to easily pull out of the way, to get at charging port. It's like the tab is 90 degrees the wrong way, stressing it to tear out. Or like one I have, can pick at it forever,, until forced to get point of knife under it. Cheers
On the v10 triple click the left button for black light not the main button (just saying) I have 2 v10's one for me and my son wanted to see this video to see if th v15 or v20 would be a better fit but I still can't pick soo both...nice video though thanks

Hello flywell. I honestly would go with the V15. I do like the v20 because of the 180° head and the siren is ok. But truthfully I like the head on the V15 and it seems better built. Nicer lights overall. 😀 let me know if you have questions.
I thought I'd add one issue with most of my EDC flashlights. One needs to check battery maybe once a week or two, even if not used. Not sure how long one was not checked that I keep tethered on belt loop, but just when I needed it,, by golly battery was dead. Must be some micro circuit that keeps battery engaged. So just recently I purchased a new power strip with multiple USB A charging ports, which really streamlined my charging world getting rid of all the stacked phone chargers. It also has multiple AC plug ins. Typical Amazon order for power strip. I'd share image,, but not sure how most do this at RU-vid. The voltage control in power strip for USB must not be filtered all that well for the one I use, so if charging a Bose Bluetooth speaker, I get a little AC hum when speaker is on and charging at same time. So back to phone charger for him. Cheers

Hello Ivan, I apologize for not getting the comparison video out yet. I had a good friend who was hit by a car, and the last few weeks have been very hectic. Thankfully, he is alive and doing better. Also our weather has been really crazy windy and cold. However it's getting nicer soon, I am hoping to have the outdoor comparison video done soon. And I have the et15 video almost done. But I truly appreciate ALL of YOU! I LOVE the comments and feedback and appreciate it more than you all may know. It is a lot of work just filming...plus editing it truly does take hours somedays.
When I bought my V3 you could have ONE SINGLE FRONT LIGHT/LED ON OR DUAL, now it is stuck on DUAL, do you know how to RESET the front LEDS back to factory RESET? Really annoying how temperamental it is to activate DUAL Front Leds and not drop the function back to SINGLE Front LED ONLY

Hello, It is hard to say..but I would say..If you plan on using the 180° head on the V20, I love wearing it on my hat and being able to walk or use my bbq and have the lights pointing down that part is helpful. I would say the V15 would probably be my choice, mainly because one thing I've done in the middle of the night is needed to get out of bed and accidentally pressed the siren button on the V20 and about had a heart attack 😆 The v15 still rotates but not as much. Both are great IMHO. Feel free to ask questions if you have more. I don't mind. Hope your day or night is going well .
@@BIGPAPAFOOT thanks for the quick reply. On AliExpress, the price is lower according to older versions. but for V15 and V20, price difference is less than 1 euro. I don't think this is because the release dates are close to each other. It's more because V20 isn't so popular. When I check on Amazon, V15 and V10 have noticeably higher rating than V20. Many people complain about V20 for the narrow USB port, funny double click timing, and inferior build quality compared to previous models. I feel Boruit became greedy and rushed for a new release without putting enough thoughts on V20. I think I'll go with V15 or V10.

But I think if I had to choose only 1, I would go with the V15 for the fact that the magnet is stronger and it's also a nice flood light. Even though the head is only able to rotate 80° I like it a lot, and I find myself grabbing the V15 most of the time. Do you own any of them,Which one is your favorite? Have a great day my friend
@itishpaul5797 Hello, if you're not a big fan of the V15, I would really go with the V20 over the v10. I like the diffusers, pocket clip, and front red lights on the v20, and I really like the V20 for the 180° head, which makes it much nicer to carry than the V10. V20 is a great little light. I'm carrying it as my edc right now. 😀
@@BIGPAPAFOOT just one more query, I heard that it has something called "down time" or some shit, where it slowly lowers the lumens.. for battery sustain. Is that true? And can we only run 1000 lm for few minutes? And have to go back to 600lm? Thank you
I live in india, where boruit doesn't ship their products (some shady retailers do but i dont wanna risk it) i really love the v20 and a friend was coming india from USA and I ordered a v20 to his address and got it "shipped" via my friend XD.. he gave me the package today and IT'S A V15. i love both models, but man WHYYY

The newer v20 has two variants. One has the two red LEDs + two main white LEDs and the other which have two UV LEDs + two main white LEDs (this was released recently). The v10 has another variant called v10L which has a laser instead of the UV LED in the front (huge step down in my opinion). The warm white LED on the side has been replaced by the UV LED.

Just wanted to add that the V20 has both a red light or UV light option on Amazon. To reiterate, the colored light on the swivel head can be red or UV, depending on which unit you buy.

Thanks for the review. I just ordered the V20 but am aware of it's weaknesses. I also ordered....wait for it....Boruits latest offering. It's looks like a clone of the Wuben X3 but with only Ipx4 rating and a measly 380 lumensmax.. However, the price was US$12.5 including shipping.

@jammy86 yeah Jammy. What kind of features are you looking for ? I would assume something fits nice in pocket? Something with a strike bezel for safety and glass break....rechargeable battery you can change out? Bright? I have some ideas. Let me know if they have any specific laws. I'll try to help. I had the v3 from the time it came out. Now that v20 released. Just brought that one too. I think im good for this year. Ill skip a few more again and see which to pick in the future but these 2 torches work great. One is on edc keychain and other goes in edc bag. Nice video.

@@alfredomelendez7698 yes, while it's running. It gives a good show in runtime. Also, I've had the v3 for the longest time since it came out and it's got beat up pretty bad but still works like a champ. No buldging in the lipo etc.. you guys know how lipos get over time,, lol
Thanks for all the info. It helped me to decide in favor of v3. I think they are all categorised as keychain so the smaller the better and 900l seems powerful enough for a keychain.

Come in 2 versions. One has red lights on main head or you can get it with UV lights on main head instead of the red lights. Both versions have UV led light on body of it though. The UV version on the main head of the light I find is very weak though need to hold it right ontop of anything to get it to glow

@@BIGPAPAFOOT about 4 months attached to my daily keys and suddenly just stopped working. Had the V7 lying around and attached it to the keys but not as practical as the v3. Probably ordering a new v3… it’s just the best overall for keychains.

@mememakr3000 Hi, yeah, that is a great question. Yes....it stays where you put it. It's actually really nice. I've been mainly using it for attached to the front of my hat I have been wearing for the last few weeks. I really like it more than I thought I would. Also, I would say I like the v15 more even though it doesn't rotate as far. It feels more sturdy, and I like the beam pattern a bit more on the V15, I also like the double white LED on the side of the v15
Oh no! 😞 I'm sorry, Lox. They are great little lights. I've beat up my V10 pretty terrible over the last few months. I lost the magnet, and the power powrt plug broke. But I also used it for the last year a lot 😆 it was a fun light. 😀
Hello Kawika. I haven't had any issues myself. The only issue I've had is on my v10. I used it so much that the rubber gasket on the port broke off. But overall they've been great. What kind of issues have you had? I can try to help or possibly get ahold of boruit for you.
No,unfortunately not as boruit decided against it this time around. The red and blue strobes and the red strobe by itself and blue strobe by itself is also bright. They are great little lights.
@@mazaleskaoh sorry I missed this comment. Yes I realized after the video its a very small uv light. I really hate being colorblind 😆 I couldn't tell it was the uv light as I was going through the side lights
