Borujerd is the center of Borujerd city in Lorestan province and the 39th most populated city in Iran. This city is located in the north of the fertile plain of Silakhor, and the high peaks of Grin, from the Zagros mountain range, cover it from the northwest to the southeast. Many permanent mirages flowing from the slopes of these mountains play a significant role in the economy of the region and the development of Borujerd city. Borujerd has had a special communication position since the distant past, and today, the location of this city at the head of the Tehran-South highway is considered one of the factors of its economic prosperity.
