Ja, er was blijkbaar een openbare verkoop via de website van Dortmund, waarop een tijdje ook Ajacieden kaarten hebben kunnen kopen, schat dat er met het uitvak erbij in totaal zeker wel 7 a 8000 ajacieden bij de wedstrijd zijn geweest. Voor zover ik weet is alles goed verlopen, prachtige uitslag natuurlijk voor ons om in ieder geval niet chagrijnig te worden. Ook vanuit Duits perspectief: alles zeer goed begeleid met Politie van verschillende districten zo gezien te hebben. Dikke 10!

So Entrada is not a chant, its the getting together before a match.

Think you are exactly right, this wasnt the best performance of Ajax, especially first half, Dortmund started with a lot of pressing, to avoid Ajax to get in their game. I believe we were getting stronger and offcourse that red card helped. But still, think in second half we got upperhand because Klaassen was substituted, played very well, also Kudus did a good job. I felt we could score, when the equalizer came, I thought we would go to win it too. We have a great squad, and yes I think you are right on Bayern and Liverpool, but also against other big clubs we need to be at our best to get a chance on the cup. I always think every match is a match on its own. Het balletje is rond, like we say in dutch. Things can happen. Not always the best team goes through or wins a cup. I know for sure we dont need to be afraid of anyone! Why? Because we are AJAX AMSTERDAM! 🔥💪🏻❌❌❌💪🏻🔥

@@Invinc1ble Ajax winning the CL to many would be like a fairytale because they are a traditional club who play to the Cruyff philosophy but most obviously they are in a league ranked 7th best in Europe and so they are largely forgotten to the masses on the whole so these European exploits help add to what Ajax were before football became a billionaires plaything and it's a romantic story as Ajax although wealthy in Eriedivisie they are not in wealthy like the European superpowers like man city, Chelsea, PSG etc... So it's like they stand for more than just being Ajax it's the superpowers with unlimited wealth v a traditional club and that's another reason why I want them to win it so much. To show it's not all the money that buys success but a club not even in a top 5 league can win it

I think it will be better for Ajax not to get him back as a player. We already have Alvarez, Kudus, Klaassen, Berghuis, Gravenbergh etc all players that need to play, the balance is already there. Offcourse Christian is a big player, but honoustly I dont think we need him at the moment. Offcourse he will be always welcome back, but maybe in future as a coach, personal trainer, something like that.

I think the mood is good and ok, im only not sure on Neres and also Tagliafico, both aren't with the first 11 no more and Im not sure if they can be kept satisfied. I dont think they will terrorise the team spirit, but I also think it will be difficult for Erik ten Hag to keep them going with a smile every day.....

We already bought Daramy as an extra option in front, Tadic can play as a striker too and we also have Danilo, he doesnt get any chance, because ten Hag is keeping Haller in. As long as Haller is keep scoring goals, he can play Shite for 85 minutes, when he keeps delivering in 5, it won't get Danilo in.

@@Invinc1ble I know a successful and winning team keeps it first 11 as starters most weeks and if you are winning then those players can't really complain but if Ten Hag can work it where they actually get some minutes in matches that is better than none. As isn't Neres the direct replacement for Antony? I think he's going to rotate a bit more now isn't he? I saw Neres scored the winner in the cup game as a sub against Vitesse at the end of last season or start of this one ? Ten hag did mention in his bvb post match comments that he wanted to rotate

Hey Dean, especially Unuvar is a very talented player. Think Rasmussen is also a name to remember. As for Danilo, he gets way to less chances. ten Hag could give him 20 minutes or more now and then, he mostly doesn't even get on the field. There are rumours that they want to extend his contract tho, its now untill 2022 and they want to extend it with 4 years untill 2026. So they have faith in him. Daramy and Kudus are big talents, but when they get chances they need to show it, last game was poor against the Eagles. 😓 Taylor is a good talented midfielder, but I guess he needs to be patient for one more year or so.

Hey Dean, no I did not, Ajax supporters weren't allowed in Turkey, due to Corona, we also can't attend Home games at the moment in the Netherlands. Today there will be a press conference and Im afraid also Ajax Sporting will be without the fans or any public at all. Sadly. I didn't get to see Ajax in England on tv growing up unless it was the CL final, so I was glad to see you guys win the CL and I was gutted you lost to Juve in 1996, how football has changed since due billionaire owners leading to super power clubs monopolising the CL title but Ajax are a traditional club outside the top 5 leagues who are showing they can challenge the moneybag clubs

Yes, Overmars has been busy for more then a year, to get Kamaldeen Sulemana to Ajax, but when time past by, he decided to pull the plug on the deal. I think there even have been some sort of agreement somewhere in the middle, but he Just decided to go to France, from what I heared, Sulemana was really demanding a place in first eleven which really made this deal collapse. Too bad, he could have been a great winger for our squad. Then again, it opened up a spot for a new deal; Mohammed Daramy. Also a talented player, maybe not of the same level as Kamaldeen, but I have faith in him. He will give our squad another different way of playing when Erik ten Hag wants to try something else. Im sure Antony won't be sold in the winter. Maybe next year, but I hope he will stay a bit longer in Amsterdam.

Ajax are pretty well stacked now, its just keeping them all happy as its a shame to lose these talented players who want to go elsewhere for more minutes when Ajax are really on the cusp of greatness at the moment especially with Ten Hag at the helm and showing the players how its done as he has turned down several clubs who would have paid him handsomely

Brobbey was a very good totally different option for a striker to bring when things didnt go as planned in last minutes, he was slowly getting better and better, he could have stayed at Ajax, but also decided to leave Ajax for money and the thought of more playing time at Leipzig. I think he now regrets his decision a lot! Most Ajax fans dislike Mino Raiola, he manages a lot of players and is in it for the money. Some players are going to soon. But then again, since Ajax is getting richer each year, Ajax is also buying players more and more. Offcourse our DNA is giving chances to our youth, last year, Gravenbergh, Timber, Rensch etc. But when players like Blind, Tadic,.Klaassen, Berghuis etc are being bought, it will be more and more difficult for younger players to get their minutes. Because Tadic was our leftwinger, Noa Lang decided he didnt want to face the competition, he did a great job at Twente when he was on loan, he was also playing well at the pre season practice period, but he had the opportunity to go to Belgium, where he is now 1 of their best players. I regret he made that decision, hoped he would have stayed. I was sure he would have gotten his minutes in Amsterdam, and probably Daramy wouldnt be bought when he stayed. Sometimes players are leaving for money, playing time, dont wanting to go for the competition etc, but there are also moments when players are being sold, that are Just not good enough, or arent the right fit for the club. Like, Traoré, or even Cassierra they are now both scoring goals where they are at. Good for them! But they were Just not good enough when they were in Amsterdam.

Interesting, if you look at the big prem clubs they have big talented squads and many of them stay who aren't starters but that's largely helped by it being the league with the most exposure and paying bigger wages than clubs in Ajax and other clubs Eredivisie.... It's too bad they left, I hope with all these players leaving so soon, others might see the grass isn't always greener on the other side and so stay with Ajax especially if they continue to perform yearly in the CL
