This arc was so impactful and important to me and in my opinion. You're right, a lot of people might say they didn't like it or that it was dumb for whatever reason, but man...to some people who've been truly, TRULY affected by this series since the OG: I think this arc is a beautiful thing.

Seeing jiraiya again hit me with a whole ton of feels. This episode was the wholesome and was great to see young naruto again.

I love this arc so much. One of the best anime-exclusive arcs. A great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Naruto in my opinion. (I feel old! lol) But I do remember hearing polar reactions for this arc. Some people like me loved other, others didn't.

Boruto's name actually is an homage to Neji since Neji means 'screw' or something like that iirc but regardless this arc is such a nostalgia trip with the OG music and everything

It doesn't make sense because if they were talking about sasuke running away then we all know that all og characters went after sasuke the next morning and practically they should not be in village. Moreover after coming back most of them were hospitalized and in no shape to walk around. They just gave us a good emotional story by compromising the timeline!

Recent can mean weeks. For example: if you started watching Naruto two weeks ago, that would be recent. Even your comment can be classified as recent, in terms of months anyway.

Fun fact. Kishimoto confirmed that the reason Boruto is named Boruto is because it means Bolt and is a tribute to Neji which means screw. So as long as Neji died Naruto and Hinata are naming their son Boruto.

Boruto is far more skilled a shinobi but if Naruto let rage takeover him and Kurama rampage then Boruto would in no way be able to stop him.

I'd say Boruto could fare as well as Sasuke did against Naruto in part 1, if not even better. But once Naruto sprouts multiple tails, then yeah it'd probably be too much.

7:32 This is not the place for bootstrap paradox, Alex! Boruto was named in honour of Neji, if it suddenly turned out Naruto took the name from somewhere else, creators would have to deal with one very furious fandom! But don't worry, there's always a Thunder Train.

This Arc has its moments, but the powerscaling is off the charts, and the animation is inconsistent. That's what made people jump on the hate wagon.

The name "Boruto" is actually a tribute to Neji because I'm Japanese "Boruto" would sound like "Bolt" and Neji means Bolt/Screw you know that Hyuga Clan Jutsu

Following my video marathon of yours to catch up now that I'm also catching up on current anime. I really loved your reaction in this episode and it's happy to see the old days of Konoha again.✨ This whole part of Boruto interacting with the past is very funny and it's very cute as well. Also, what I love most about this episode is the father and son scene. Here I love how you can see that, no matter how much Boruto says negative things about his father, he loves him very much. After the Chunin exams he has matured more and I loved that and I respect his work more, after seeing how lonely he must be when he was a child.🥲 I really love the progress that Boruto has in this arc in the relationship and thought with his father.❤

The fact that no strong shinobi senses the increadibly strong and potent chakra of both sasuke and boruto. Its a little cap

Sasuke has recently been drained by Urashiki, and both he and Boruto can at least supress their chakra. And compared to Naruto's chakra level, Boruto's would not be too impressive. Remember as well that not all Shinobi are sensory types.

@@numberhunter62 i have no knowledge about sasuke having that ability or any skill like that but still a little sus. When the four hokage where reanimated, everyone sensed the 10 tails, Madara, Obito, Naruto etc. well well its filler and low budget, so why am i even concerning myself with what could or should have happened..

Recently can mean like a week or even two. And all those people on the retrieval actually recovered quickly. Hell, there was a 3 month period between Sasuke Retrieval and when Naruto was taken by Jiraiya.

I had mixed feelings about the time travel. It's cool and I think the arc was done pretty well, but this sort of thing also bothers me a bit because it kind of feels like a cheap recycling of the previous series. Idk, I just think that they push the nostalgia too hard sometimes and it doesn't hit right for me.

Nah, imo it was an opportunity for Boruto to learn what his dad went trough... Boruto always used to complain about Naruto not being there, here he learned more about how Naruto grew up and it wised him up a bit.
