*After almost seven years since the first chapter of boruto naruto next generations dropped, we've been waiting to see when the boruto time skip would occur and finally we not only know it begins next month, but we also have Boruto's OFFICIAL time skip design and spoilers for the upcoming manga chapter for boruto chapter 81/boruto two blue vortex chapter 1! Things have heated up, Himawari is a ninja now, Boruto is fighting Code and Kawaki has a brand new power! Meanwhile, as Code invades the hidden leaf village, Sarada Uchiha and Kawaki rush to defend the village, but unexpectedly Boruto arrives to fight Code setting the stage for a massive battle of Boruto vs Code vs Kawaki where things have the potential to get out of hand, because it's three karma seal users. Boruto obviously saw a lot during his training with Sasuke and hiding from Konoha. Combine that with being hunted by Code and having to listen to Momoshiki constantly and that explains why Boruto seemingly lost his smile.

true that, just the situation in general. imagine having to flee from your own village with your master who is now fighting his own killing intents towards you for the sake of his daughter while also having a parasite trying to break you down mentally through the whole process. it must've been tough for sasuke too considering in his mind he's training and aiding somebody that killed his best friend, and if code did kill sasuke and get his scar from him prior than boruto mentally isn't the same from when he left konoha before

Chapter 2 could go one of two ways: either we go back to when Boruto was training with Sasuke which I don’t really think will happen or we will just get straight to the fight and I have a strong feeling that if will leave on on another cliffhanger where Boruto activates his jogan

we already got the preview text for the next chapter, it's going right into the fight. Boruto naruto next generations chapter 1 opened with a flash forward sequence to tease what was to come and then went back to explain how we got there; boruto two blue vortex isn't doing that. A flashfoward is short and often narrated...this was long and not narrated

Code easily produced enough claw marks to completely wrap the 10 tails and knowing that even though Kawaki’s ability to nullify them is his biggest weakness, i feel if he can wear him down by producing so many claw marks that Kawaki runs low on chakra I think Code would violate and I hope we get to see it Kawaki’s arrogance bothers me he needs to be put in place and hopefully it’s Code that knocks him down a bit

Naruto’s timeskip training was based on preparing him to fight the Akatsuki after 2 years.Boruto already had an enemy looking to kill him during the timeskip therefore he’d get stronger quicker than Naruto since he has no time to waste. If you gave Naruto the same plot/setting with a Code like character then Naruto would’ve survived.

true, Boruto faced immediate threats during the timeskip, which pushed him to get stronger quickly. If Naruto had a similar plot and faced a character like Code, he would have also had to adapt and become stronger to survive. The circumstances and challenges faced by each character shaped their training and growth differently.

definitely, The battles with Code during the time skip were more intense and immediate, pushing Boruto to grow stronger quickly. They provided real-life combat experience that Sasuke's training couldn't fully replicate.

One thing we should look into is the fact that since Code is stronger than Jigen, not only did Boruto have to watch his own back, but he had to have spent a large amount time protecting his teacher Sasuke who is weaker than Code. So the having to protect his master as well as himself over the last 2 years had to really put a ton of pressure on him.

What if there was a off screen battle between code,boruto and sasuke what I mean is what if code pulled up on boruto and sasuke while they’re on the run but keep in mind that Eda’s shinjustu is currently active still which would make a off screen 3 way battle, but sasuke is still constantly fighting his memories about boruto so he wouldn’t kill him or harm in any other way while that’s happening Code pulled up on them seeing this sasuke would handle code first since he’s the bigger threat but ends up badly wounded and escapes with boruto which would make his hatred for code and kawaki be even greater

Love your points on the dragon ball z parallel but I think Boruto is like a mash up between future Trunks and Gohan while Eida and Daemon seem to be the andriod 18 and 17. Code to me seems alot like cell in terms of similarities, Cell's goal was to become a perfect being/life form and the same goes for code as he's on his way to become a God like isshiki stated. This doesn't mean they are the same characters far from it but you can definitely see the inspiration.

I would like a scene where in the end when everything is settled down boruto has defeated kawaki and tells him to bring naruto and hinata back and kawaki refuses by saying that he would rather get killed than bringing them back. he would just sit on top of kawaki and starts punching him until he's almost dead (weared out from the battle) and then he can start his talk no jutsu. This will be him taking out all his rage for whatever he had to go through because of him. That would be badass + sad as fuck

I don't expect you to make a video on this. I'd just appreciate your opinion if possible. Who had the better of feats,Hiruzen againts Orochimaru alongside the first two Hokages or Kakashi against the immortal duo and the four monsters? This includes context BTW. Such as Hiruzen's mental nerf and his age. Kakashi constantly having to protect team 10, showing up to the fight with an injured arm and always being in a 4v1 situation, etc.

Commonly the associated dynamic between Boruto and Sasuke is like Gohan and Piccolo, however more aptly: Sasuke's basically Future Gohan (The OG mentor like figure that the audience has an established attachment to who was tasked in training the next generation.) He also has one arm and may or may not be dead. Boruto is Future Trunks, though unlike Trunks Boruto atleast experienced peace early in his life, but being constantly on the run trying to survive so he can turn the tides of a cruel and unjust fate while being constantly hunted. (He also has a sword now to boot.) Code and Kawaki basically androids 17 and 18 hunting down essentially Boruto and by proxy Sasuke. Artificially enhanced Humans that can dominate the Human populace with ease.

Theory; Code think boruto is kawaki now so he thinks momoshiki is in kawaki and thus was mad kawaki (boruto) is the perfect vessel and wants to take momoshiki to be an otsutski vessel now. And weather they agree mutually or code takes by force or momoshiki go into code sneaky and wan resurect… now code has byukugan and boruto just has one eye or even sasuke eye .. cuz sasuke died putting a scar on code eye cuz it was momoshiki taking over … and boruto took his sharingan to give to Sarada and awaken jogan after because of genetics.

Boruto endured to become incredibly strong. I think Kishimoto will give use of a flashback to the time skip next chapter so we can see the things Boruto endured. This is also why I think Boruto is stronger than Kawaki. Boruto's strength will eventually drive Kawaki to his most desperate actions.

The thing is, Kishimoto has been always the goated when it comes to concepts, world building and dynamics between the main characters. The things he lack the most is in his development of side characters or most infamously, female characters (though he had slightly worked upon it but he still seems lacking to me by a lot. I think Himawari could perhaps change that lol) and it's probably because he faces a lot of pressure from his editors who might constantly effect his ideas. Also that there are so many characters in the Naruto verse that it becomes so difficult to have a good dedicated arc for each of them. The pacing of the first half was way too rushed for me. I think we didn't even have enough of Mitsuki and Sarada at all (at least in the Manga, I haven't read LN or watched the anime). Even an important character like Kakashi was missing in the manga...I think he really needs to up his character game this time. Part 1 was a bit led down for me except for the ending, I really got invested in the last arc though. So I hope they do just fine, or perhaps better than what Naruto Shippuden was. The potential of this surpassing Naruto Shippuden is immense! (Maybe not in sells but in storytelling). The first chapter of Blue Vortex was something that I genuinely can't think could have been pulled off better. It was probably perfect. A chapter that deserves a 10/10 from me. I absolutely love the idea that Code just pops up just the moment the time skip occurs, no bs delays. We saw almost every important characters in the time skip except Sasuke and surely, they didn't feel forced to me. It looked so natural. The fact that they didn't drag much about Shikamaru being a Hokage but just directly show them him wearing the Hokage coat was amazing, it had surprised me quiet a lot but I was pretty satisfied about it because he was indeed the best choice in the given situation.

kishimoto truly excels in concepts, world building, and dynamics between main characters. but he struggles with side characters and female characters, possibly due to pressure from editors. with so many characters, it's hard to give each a dedicated arc. pacing in the first half was rushed, and mitsuki and sarada lacked development. even kakashi was missing in the manga. hoping for better character development this time. blue vortex's first chapter was perfect, natural introduction of important characters. shikamaru as hokage was a surprising but satisfying choice. potential for surpassing naruto shippuden in storytelling is immense, even if not in sales. 10/10 for the chapter.

You know what I'm most curious about that I havent heard anyone mention is how Boruto knew code started his attack and how he arrived so quickly. Was he hiding within the village and found a way to avoid Eida and the village detection? Were sasuke and boruto the ones that were actually hunting code and not the other way around? I hope they answer this soon and not just let us believe it was coincidence.

It's very likely that code took the battle to konoha because he is weaker than Boruto but situationally Boruto will be weaker if he has to try and protect the village. Situational strength is important to understand as well - you are weaker if you have to protect someone / something - gaara vs. Dedara - Naruto vs. Momo (chunin arena) - Naruto vs. Ishiki (in konoha b4 Boruto teleports ishiki) - Naruto vs. Pain - etc...

Not only did Boruto lose all his friends who want him dead, the village he grew up loving thinks he killed his own father. He literally doesn't even have the birthright of his family anymore plus the person he looks up the most doesn't come completely trust him while Boruto trust him completely, imagine having a blinding trust to someone who doesn’t view you that way, Sasuke is probably giving him the side eye and is ready to kill him at any moment, this dude must devastated

still there and irrelevant. the shinjutsu makes them see baby boruto and basically go that's odd, but kawaki is naruto's son...the same way they saw boruto with whiskers and still thought he wasn't naruto's son and the same way kawaki has ninja tech for a body, but they still say he's naruto's son, even though naruto's son isn't a cyborg. The shinjutsu makes them overlook stuff that should bother them

If I could write the Boruto story I’d make hit home every time they really lack the emotional side where the readers can actually feel it the only time I ever felt any thing on a emotional turmoil was when kurama died the send off was perfect, Boruto need to be on some attack on titans shit not in terms of world genocide’ or even like Vinland Saga like thorfin

Pre time skip, it already seem like Kawaki gave minimum Fs after doing all this to his “brother”, but now Boruto has been away (3 years) way longer than Kawaki was even with his family. How long was Kawaki even in the village before Boruto left anyway like 2 months? Haha. On the flip side, everyone else in the village has been around Kawaki way longer than Boruto has. Even Himawari. You could argue that Kawaki is WAY more of a brother to her now than he ever was to Boruto.

Given what eida and sarada was talkin bout when it comes to the memories an eidas ability I'm not sure they gonna ever think boruto is narutos son considering borutos goal is to be a shadow hokage it really wouldn't matter who narutos son is that and I don't see any way at least right now kawaki can be redeemed unless the village never thinks he does anything wrong and as long as boruto gets his mom and dad back it wouldn't matter to him who the village considers to be his son it would give kawaki what he wants while letting boruto do what he wants it would be a win win for everyone

The thing i don't get is if Code was effected by Eida's power, why would he come to the village and threaten Sarada, since code knows that Kawaki loved Naruto the most in that village, and he now believes that Kawaki who now is Boruto killed the Hokage, so why would code believe threatening Sarada and the village will bring him back, maybe something happed during the time skip.

I don't think the other Villages and the hidden Leaf was much of a problem his biggest problem was definitely code boruto possesses time-space ninjutsu sure his usage of it is shaky but training with someone like Sasuke who's experienced with it I'm sure he get the hang of it pretty fast especially if you consider how fast boruto learns things I mean he saw the Chidori and then created a knockoff one the next day learned the Rasengan in 3 days if I'm not mistaken I think the only thing he'd really have to worry about is the claw marks. Not trying to downplay how hard it is to be on the run but still at best The Villages were a nuisance

The true question is: what is Kawaki's motive? Did he go insane and does he want to live Boruto's save life? Or will he stop after Killing boruto? There should be a way to avoid being killed and also get Kawaki to his senses. Maybe if Kawaki changes his opinion, the spell will be over since it's not longer desire related. Or does boruto have to rewrite memories by showing he's the guy they remember as kawaki?

Nothing says they have to be as tall as their parents. Cho cho was already pretty big, she was a 150cm in part 1, which is taller than Hinata, almost as tall as 16 year old Hinata. It's Ikemoto's art style that's probably throwing you off. Most women hit their adult heights statistically speaking a few years after they begin their period vs boys get multiple growth spurts on average until they're 20.

But what I am confused about is, why did he choose him as a vessel if he knew boruto’s future ? It doesn’t make sense to me so you knew you were going to be trapped in his body and need to revive him from the dead and even if that wasn’t true, he must’ve known he wanted to place karma on him, and if he saw the future where everything is taken from him. I’m just wondering why he still chose him unless he didn’t see every detail and didn’t realize the karma wasn’t uploaded completely and I’m assuming he didn’t know that both karma’s resonate with each other, causing the upload to go faster? What I’m saying is did he not think it was kind of weird he hadn’t taken over the kids body completely by that time? That only leads me to believe he only saw boruto lose everything and he still looked really young during that time, so how was he really supposed to know his karma wasn’t going to be uploaded completely

Fist of the north star was a manga in the early to late 80s. I spoke only about the 90s series. Saint Seiya started in the mid 80s and ended in 1990. Dragon Ball DID start start in the mid 80s but it wrapped up it's run in the mid 90s, around the time Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho were wrapping up. In the 90s, those 3 series were the big dogs for Jump. Saint Seiya and Fist of the north star were the 80s big dogs...that being said there is only one big 3: naruto, bleach, one piece.

Daily reminder that Isshiki tried to feed Kaguya to the ten tails only to fail miserably when she defended herself and clapped him so bad that he was crawling on the ground in his own blood pool and was forced to retreat to go into hiding for centuries just to recover.
