I think Guerlain first released only this smaller bottle to retailers. I tested it & had to have it immediately, so I didn’t wait for the larger size either (though I usually would; I ❤️ Guerlain too). A “marine vanilla”, an Aqua Allegoria vanilla - who knew I was missing that?! This is shockingly amazing! I walk around all day sniffing my arm like a lunatic.
Couldn't agree more about Guerlain's vanilla accord. Easily my fav in the designer realm and has been for well over a decade. Nerolia Vetiver Forte also still the best alternative to Cousin Matthew from Penhaligon's - probably my favourite freshie from Alberto Morillas, and sadly discontinued this year!! Ps, love the lips in the thumbnail Pam. 😉🤭💋 Hey, it got ME clickin' didn't it. 😄
Should I do more lippy thumbnails? 😂 I also absolutely adore Nerolia Vetiver. I might review it in the future. Have you tried the harvest version? How different is it?
@@PamsSmellyGoods Excellent question. I do remember trying it very briefly, but I got chatting to an SA at the same time and wasn't really paying attention. 😂 Pick up and sniff, pick up and sniff, you know how it goes. 😄 Then I got distracted by Pamplelune which was my first...And you never forget your first... Might give them another go and report back next week. I'm just happy I got Habit Rouge Prive 😉 Brilliant revival.
I also have aqua Allegoria pamplelune -I discovered it in Italy oh, maybe 20 years ago. I LOVED it. I used up a 4 ounce bottle of it and I have another 4 oz bottle. I used to use it in summertime. It does absolutely smell like fresh grapefruit at first and that scent lasts a while. For the rest, I recall it's quite long-lasting. And now that I've written this, I will spritz myself with it on occasion this summer.
