Thanks for the video ! I am looking for a battery pump that start automatically everyday at the same hour. Does this have this option ? If not it is possible in any way ?
Great helpful video. I have a couple of IBC tanks and the garden extends about 80 metres away. Do you think the pressure is enough to make that length usable?
Dang, I thought the timer would be "I can set it to pump every AM". I want it for a greenhouse with seedlings and young plants in my allotment that I don't think I can get to every day in spring. Any ideas would be great. I was considering a bucket of water dangling from greenhouse roof frame with a tap valve, connected to a battery timer and fed out into trays for a few mins to bottom water seedlings.... wish me luck hah. I'd much rather a timed pump from a large water butt (I'd imagine that I would have to make the water go up to a shelving rack and don't think I could raise the butt up high enough for gravity to work with a timer)
Silly question here. Do you already need a Bosch battery charger or does the battery unit connect to the mains for recharging? Thanks for a great review. I've been looking for a garden pump to reuse our kid's bath water on the garden. Must be at least 150Ltr of water going down the drain there.
The charger comes with the pump which plugs into the wall. You have to remove the battery from the housing and take it indoors. It’s a great little pump, I really recommend it. Be careful when buying, make sure you get the ‘battery included’ one.
Thanks for sharing! Most of my water butts are approximately 20 mtrs from a raised bed that I wish to water! to save on footsteps back and forth with a 9 ltr watering can! Would this pump cope with that distance and spray for another say 20 mtrs to cover my raised bed area? Kind regards,
Hello, I bought one, its brilliant but did not come with any attachments, apart from the hose of course, but when I switch it on it comes on in a torrent, and I seem to be unable to alter the water pressure at all, it comes out like a water cannon ! any idea why ?
Update: Since writing my reply I decided to investigate the problem and found moisture had penetrated the electrics, after letting it dry out and taking precautions, against it happening again, I'm happy that my pump is now working again.
Those do NOT look like BOSCH batteries! So, BOSCH in name only, not exchangability with their cordless tools ecosystem. Fail on someones part, and good look getting replacement batteries in the future.
