Good video. Do you have to push the pedal harder to activate motor output compared to standard Bosch. On my Active line plus (without tuning), i only have to push the pedals softly before the motor helps. With the 'pedal mod', I have to push a bit harder on the pedals, for the motor to assist.
The force you need to apply to make the motor kick in stays the same. But if the wind blows towards you, the faster you go the harder you must paddle. But if you have the wind pushing you you can almost effortlessly cycle 40 km/h. I hope this helps let me know if you have anymorw questions👍🏻
This is the active line plus with 50nm. The torque is still 50nm. The only thing that changed is the speed limter wich is now derestricted. I hop e this anwsers your question.
does anyone know what the design limits are for the bosch motors? In America the top speed is limited to 20mph, but from a design perspective it would be good to know that I am not pushing past the design tolerances. not been able to find them really.
Sorry voor het late antwoord. Dat ligt eraan hoe lang je boven de 25 km per uur fiets. Als ik 10 km fiets duurt heg ongeveer 1.5 minuut voordat de fiets klaar is met de tuningdetectie wegwerken
@@julian2999Dan is er een kans dat op den duur het een keer foutgaat en je een foutmelding krijgt die aangeeft dat er tuning opzit en dan gaat je fiets nog maar 15km/h. Vervolgens moet je dat laten resetten bij de dealer en is er een kans dat je je garantie kwijtbent.
I have deristricted my active line plus (50 Nm = not the strongest engine). Approaching 32-33 as far as I remember, I begin to pedal harder. No wind, flat road. I didn't use speedbox 3, but 'Pedal mod'
If you keep paddalling with the same force when you go 25 kph you will keep going 25 but if you peddal with a little bit more force you will accellerate very easely. And what i especially like about the chip is that if you for example want to cyle 25 kph without the chip the bike already Kicks in the limiter but when you drive 25 kph with the chip it is de restricted so you barely have to use any force to drive a constant 25 kph. And if you want you can turn off/on the chipa at any time using the walk button or by pressing +-+-
@@b0ats.n.stuff724 So you still need to pedal according to those higher speeds? Seems pointless, most e-mtbs f.e. have very slow gearing (small front chainrings) , you'd have tp pedal like some crazy hamster in a hamster wheel to go @ 40 or 50 km/h
Wat doet de speedbox met de range? Ik wil graag niet meer tegen die limiet aanhikken van 25km/h en zo rond de 30km/h willen fietsen. Alleen als dat een veel meer vermogen kost op lange stukken weet ik niet of ik het haal op een acculading.
Ik fiets zelf zonder limiet dan is de range wel een heel stuk minder. Maar ik denk dat als de speedbox staat ingesteld op 30 dat er dan niet heel veel van de range afgaat omdat hij dan ook minder gaat ondersteunen net zo als bij 25kmh om te voorkomen dat je harder gaat dan 30.

@AeroxRacing225 @@bastiwilhelm In de VS is de Bosch Active Line Plus begrensd op 20mph (32km/u). De Bosch-calculator geeft bij die snelheid in de 'Tour-stand' een bereik van 31 miles (50 km) aan. Bij onze EU-versie (begrensd is op 25 km/u dus) is het bereik met dezelfde instellingen 67km. Dat scheelt 17 kilometer. Zelf zou ik ook liever iets sneller willen, maar ik voer mijn fiets niet op omdat je dan niet meer WA-verzekerd bent. Rijd je schade of breng je iemand letsel toe? Dan ben je de pineut...
