Replace the worn rubbers on your Bosch Aerotwin blades with less than a dollar. The Aerotwin blades design is great especially when driving through heavy rain on high speeds. The sleeve designs keep the blades glued to the glass and minimising wind noise but they're a bit too costly to replace and wears out quite quickly. Get the replacement/refill rubbers from Taobao (or any e-Commerce platform) and DIY.

Bosch made the metal blades a little bit more thick on the latest aeroblade wipers, this is why the rubber needs lubrication to be put back, but after the lubrication is gone the rubber does not move freely on those metal blades and this is not ok long term, they will have a short life and not clean correctly. On the older models it was very easy to put back in the new rubber without any lubrication, because it fit better. I know this because I tried to put in my 2021 wipers some original VW rubbers and did not manage to push them in. Then I investigated the issue and saw that the VW rubber top groove is slimmer than the one on the rubber just removed from the bosch wiper. Did not have this problem a few years ago when putting the same VW rubber in an older bosch wiper. They clearly changed those metal blades, because the VW rubber is the same as back then, the only difference is the wiper itself. The problem now is that I can't find compatible rubber for the new generation bosch wipers with thicker metal blades, to fit easily and without lubrication.
