I've just bought one of these to try and locate the studs in my plasterboard wall so I can stick some shelves up. The electric indicator is constantly going off no matter where I place it on the wall.
@@MrThunderwing unfortunately mines out of warranty - despite being used only once and practically brand new, they’ll not entertain it. Destined for the bin
I am not an expert, just got it for DIY at home. I had this for about 2 weeks and I am not happy with it. Simply to use, they say. I found it unreliable and instructions are not really clear
I contacted Bosch I get the standard reply it's out of warranty..they dont seem to understand that there are other people with the same the product that say its next to useless and has never worked.

@@gregchristie2763 I have since bought the Franklin ProSensor T13 Professional Stud Finder. It works flawlessly to find studs through regular dry wall, which is all I need from a stud finder. It doesn't find electrical wires etc. But it finds studs. Check out some reviews.
