Bosch GMS120 Detector - ITS 

Have exactly the same problem. Can’t find any reference to this issue either

@@Anglersanddanglers I think the device is just shit (not what you'd expect from Bosch). I took it back to B&Q the next day and asked for a refund.

@@MrThunderwing unfortunately mines out of warranty - despite being used only once and practically brand new, they’ll not entertain it. Destined for the bin

I complained to Bosch I will see if I get a reply.

I contacted Bosch I get the standard reply it's out of warranty..they dont seem to understand that there are other people with the same the product that say its next to useless and has never worked.

@@gregchristie2763 I have since bought the Franklin ProSensor T13 Professional Stud Finder. It works flawlessly to find studs through regular dry wall, which is all I need from a stud finder. It doesn't find electrical wires etc. But it finds studs. Check out some reviews.

@@thunzie does it find plastic water pipes insode bathroom wall?

@@ziohausam I can't say for sure, I've only used it for wooden studs.

sounds like user error to me
