I have the same kettle. My only gripe is the hinge on the lid has loose on one side. Otherwise a great product especially with the temperature control.

Once its boiled doesnt the blue temp indicator stay on and show the temperature as the water cools? It would be handy if it did.

Q: IS IT SAFE TO REPEATEDLY HEAT DRINKING WATER BELOW 100°C ? A: SEEMINGLY SO (see below for more information). Like me, you may be wondering whether it's safe to repeatedly heat water to below 100°C, the boiling point, especially as those double walls will keep that repeatedly heated water warm for extended periods. What about heat-resistant bacteria, such as E.coli and Legionella? Although I like the idea of a kettle that'll heat my water to temperatures below 100°C for correctly making teas or fresh ground coffee, I wasn't sure. So, I did some research. It is reported by the experts (which I'm not) that heating to 70°C is an "instant kill". I'm assuming that this is why 70°C is the lowest temperature BOSCH chose for us to heat water at. It seems they've also done the research, but it's always good to know. Thank you for a great video review, Paul. you need the stainless steel inside; not outside .... this is no better than a an all plastic $15 kettle

After watching this I bought one,well ok it was not my first choice but many shops were out of stock of sage.Great kettle let down by MADE IN CHINA,and the fact I wrote a review for bosch they got upset and asked me to rewrite it. Censorship lol. Go on the germans,never a company to be up front unless there caught out....dieselgate lol...
