My daughter just bought that model but the writing on the machine is Grrman. Now she can use the video to understand what the writing means. I forwarded the video.👍
The FD number can be used to calculate the production date of a Bosch or Siemens appliance, just add 20 to the first 2 numbers, that is the year, the other 2 numbers is the month, for example FD 8505 means May 2005.
Thank goodness I found your demo, never used a bosch before but now I use the communal one. I have a problem though, it does not seem to be getting enough water. I put a full load on and there was no water but it was pumping only a very little not enough to wash even half a load. Thank you so much for the demo greatly appreciated. I hope you can Please with the water issue
What a star. Just found you as I was curious about my Bosch washing machine. I have it on 90 at the mo, but t is not nearly as bad as your mums. Thanks for all your help.
We've got the WFL 1600 which is similar. We have had it for 20 years since new and it's never failed once. The only thing we had to do is replace the seal a year ago, the original one had cracked. The shock absorbers have gone on it too. However it still washes as good as it was when brand new.
Still using my Bosch Maxx WFL 2000 (approx 18years) never had the brushes replaced, unfortunately I have the same problem with the seal even though I would dry it thoroughly after the washing was finished and always leave the door wide open to air.....the only repair I have had happen is a small pin prick sized hole in the hose, only cost a small amount to replace as the repair man had a 2nd hand one from another washer and so was just his time. Mine also is a cold water fill as the machine heats the water,
My Bosch classixx WFL20602GB/12 washer was made in 2002 in Germany, I think your mum's Bosch (this) might have been made in 2003 perhaps. Mine is going strong it's a lot better than my Hotpoint Aquarius plus WMF740P.
I saw this video you had done, and it looks like the same washing machine I have, only the color is different. After I've do a first wash, I do the second wash at a lower temperature, then I add the fabric softener. This may seem time consuming, but it saves the powder tray from clogging up. I do wash my whites at a high temperature. Its cheaper to wash at the weekend, especially Sundays.
WFL dosent stand for Washer Front Loader, just the range. There were WFL ones which were early in this style or the basic ones then they went for WFO for later modern ones
Great help just got one for my uncle , didn't get a book with said item so you're revue really helped everything I wanted to know you explained id hot and cold fill .so thanks again .
Part of couple's marriage vows should be that she states, 'I do solemnly agree to check all pockets and trouser turn-ups etc for items that could block the washing machine for the duration of our marriage. I also agree not to lean on the open door when I get up off the floor, as I understand this will break the door hinges ...again!
Brilliant demo, I learned so much especially how to clean the rubber seal. Like your mum I've only washed at 30 degrees and the rubber is not pretty. Many thanks.
But which trough do you put the soap in? That’s what I came for… I’m in France at Airbnb and unsure. Left side appears to be the water side, so middle?
Great video :) I'm currently at an airbnb in Croatia and the dials and buttons may as well have been in Chinese lol. Question regarding detergent. If I'm using one of those gel capsules that dissolve in water, do I put it in the left tray amd let water dissolve it there, or do I chuck it in with the clothes?
My washer used to get grimy like that in the seal and the new bosh washing machine I just got I switched to powder had no issues and do a 90c empty wash once a month x
While the numbers on the right of the main (program) dial indicate the degrees C, I have no idea what the numbers on the left are. I thought they were in minutes, but even though I selected 40, the machine has been happily running for the last hour and a half without heating the water. So, I don't think they are also degrees. What is the effect of the Quick Wash button? How much does it reduce the washing time by? The user manual I downloaded for this machine is completely useless and does not explain anything in detail. It is a total mess. What are the examples of biological powder? We mainly use Omo and Cold Power in Australia.
The numbers on the main dial are supposed to represent the water temperature. If the glass door was still cold to the touch after that length of time, your heater may be faulty. On a 40 degree wash the glass should feel warm after a while. The quick wash button reduces the wash time on most programmes and I believe it reduces the amount of rinses too.
Ilove Servis Yup, I have the certificates in a box with all my other certificates. The one I fixed? Well I didnt do much to it, I only pulled a few items out of the pump from the filter
+Marc Leslie (MercsPage) I'm going to be doing a PAT testing course soon. My uncle has a charity in which scrap washing machines etc are mended and sold, and I volunteer regularly and the man I work with is going to set me up on a PAT testing course.
I'd love to see a wash, as my machine from 40 Easy Care cycle, does not ever seem to End - it has been washing now for 5 hours??? Am I meant to stop it and spin it myself? WFL 2020. Desperate to know if it's user error, or if that's how it works please. It does not seem to End automatically???
Great washing machine and video was Great liked how much detail you put in .But washing machine cleaner every so often cleans internal parts and stops unpleasant smell .Liked your video very well put together,
Thanks for the video. I will get my Mum to clean our Samsung ecobubble's drawer out with a toothbrush! Did you clean the Bosch drawer for your Mum in the end? Thanks Joel (aged 3).
+Barnsey Hello Joel, you write very well for a three year old. Well, I did give the drawer a thorough clean, but I found a grout cleaning brush under the sink that worked even better than a toothbrush.
Pretty normal for an automatic washing machine to take a long time especially on hot and eco programmes. Many washers have option buttons to reduce the time the programme takes.
my mum had a bosch washing machine that ran for 34 years I told her to phone bosch and tell em to try to get another one when it conked out she did nt she just went out and brought another one lol
gaurav babbar looks like the carbon brushes are worn, these are located on the back of the motor, they are not very expensive, replace them and the machine should be working again.
@@rkm-amusements2271 the same has happened just now with my Bosch classixx washer very similar to this Bosch maxx, next week my new carbon brushes are arriving I checked the old and they are completely worn.
