Bosch Plainer Blade & Belt Replacement, PHO15-82 

Cheers! Just ordered my replacement blades for my PHO 15--82 and wondered how to check they were set at the correct height. This made it all clear. Thanks again.

Thanks for the video I gave someone a loan of my plainer and he told me he replaced the blades but when I used it nothing happened couldn't work out what was wrong tried replacing the blades but no luck after watching your video I could see he had the plates round the wrong way and he had also moved the plates underneath I copied what you did and working fine only thing is when set to park it still cuts a bit but can live with that. cheers again!

Brilliant video but wish I’d seen it an hour ago😩I stupidly took off both plates to fit new blades, all sorted now but took me twice as long as it should have done. Great tip about setting the blade depth.

Liked your video one comment I didn't cut through a nail with mine, the friend I lent in to did, so I changed the blade and then when I tried it even when set on zero it still took off about 1.5 mm of surface, this was because if you don't have the bolts up quite tight centrifugal force throws the blades forwards and out of adjustment, took me ages to work out what was going on.

Glad you have encountered the famous " S...'s Law"!!! I have just experienced the same ! You have handled it exceedingly well . If I could suggest one small addition, you could also explain the direction/side of the blade cover (with the three screws) if this is taken out completely . One side is "longer" than the other and if mounted wrongly the unit will play merry hell! ( hope you do not mind the suggestion) . Great video, thank you.

REF THE BOLTS ALMOST SEIZING PUT THE SCREWS IN WITH A PRODUCT CALLED COPPER EASE, WE USED THIS IN FORMULA 1 ON WHEEL NUTS..THOSE WONT SEIZE AGAIN
