Thanks for that. The instructions that come with these things are disgusting! Booklets with pages and pages of who knows what language and then they assume everyone is illiterate and just use pictures with arrows that go everywhere, which I, personally, really have trouble understanding.

i so agree with you!!! Just bought one today and i was confused as fuck on these "instructions" . Give me damn words.... luckily there is always RU-vid! I have so many smart devices, a pc, consoles, cameras and different connections around the house that i made with ease. But this coffee machine beat me to it 🤣

1. Take out the yellow disc underneath the machine! 2. Plug it in and switch it on. 3. Put the yellow disc in the machine (barcode down). 4. This is the bit I had major trouble with - close the lid! Put the lid down, THEN push the flappy bit of lid down until it clicks. 5. Fill water tank and click into place. 6. Press the on button and don't faff with it until the light stops blinking. Not sure if you have to keep the yellow disc for further use or not.

The instructions you give are correct, also the yellow disk should be saved for further use. PS: Step 6. Just press the button normally and the process will start. 😊

One confusing thing was the descaler is in the compartment where the water is...so I was like wait... it's in the water???? But this video confirms it's meant to be there and i guess until the descaling button is activated...it won't mix in the current water or drink yes!!!!👍😅

Are you referring to the circular stone-like object in the water tank? It actually serves a different purpose-it communicates with the water sensor. When the water tank is full, the stone floats up, and the sensor's magnet detects water. If the water level drops, the stone sinks, signaling to the sensor that there's no water present. Thanks so much for the helpful video, the instructions that come with it are so unclear. I'm having a problem with mine, wonder if you might have an answer, I've put the yellow disc in, closed it all down, it starts up and a drop of water comes out but then the red light starts flashing and it stops. I tried taking the yellow disc out, made sure the code was in line with the laser but its still doing the same thing. Am I doing something wrong or do you think it could be a fault with the machine?

Glad it helped! Also the answer to your question can be: The appliance does not recognise the T DISC bar code. Possible solution: Smooth out the foil of the T DISC with your finger so that the bar code can be read. Or may the T DISC is damaged you need to try with a new T DISC. Also If you can make a coffee with a coffee T-DISC, then the problem is probably in the T DISC

I’ve just got my machine and started the first cleaning process, but I’m running into difficulty with the lid. When I put in the cleaning disk, the lid doesn’t shut all the way. There is a click sound, but the very front sliding piece doesn’t sit all the way down. However when nothing is inserted in the machine, it does fully close. Any idea what’s wrong? (I’m also nearly certain the disk is inserted correctly)

Sorry to hear that, I will explain some steps you need to try. 1. May the piercing unit and/or the T DISC support have not been correctly inserted, remove and put it again. 2. The T DISC has not been correctly inserted ( For this step you are sure that is correctly inserted, but you can try with the Coffee T-disc may the Cleaning disc is damaged. 3. If you try all these steps and again you can't close the lid I think there is a problem with the machine, then contact the seller to replace the machine

I'm making latte macchiato, and you need two capsules, The first is Creamer (milk) The second is Coffee. And every Capsules has a bar code, and when you put the capsule in the machine, the machine read this code, and knows exactly how much water is needed, and how hot it should be. It also, we have many videos on our channel "Making coffee, hot chocolate, Tea, etc. You can see a few of them, and you will see exactly how it work.

is there a way to change the quantity it pours? for example small medium large. Because it feels like it makes expresso out of anything 🤣 i know i can hold the buton to pour more but is there any way to just "set" the machine to medium or large?

Unfortunately no, the machine only reads the barcode that is placed on it, and this barcode determines the quantity, the only way is to hold the button for a larger quantity, or press it briefly to stop the process and make a smaller quantity

Make sure that the barcode of the yellow T-disc is on right place, It also try to push the button and hold for 5-6 sec. If nothing happens again, Then contact the seller, maybe the machine has a problem.

Make sure that the Yellow T-disc is properly inserted( or not damaged). Also, just try with Coffee T-disc, If again nothing happens, then it is a problem with the machine, you should contact the seller.

Hi, In this video is shown how to start your machine for the first time (for this procces you need yellow T-disc). btw. Before and after you do a hot chocolate or any other beverage, no need to put the yellow T-disc. Watch our other videos, we have videos how we make hot chocolate, coffee, tea, etc.

Before the machine finished making the drink "Press and hold the button" until you reach the desired quantity, and then release the button. I hope this will helps you to reach the desired quantity, on every beverage

@@nicoladollard1845 The T-Discs must be in good position, not on left not on right, exactly on middle, in a natural position on na T-disc holder, and then close carefully. It also, make sure that the T-disc holder is in good position. The plug design varies depending on the region it's manufactured for. If you order in the EU, you'll get an EU plug; in the UK, a UK plug; and in the USA, a US plug. But if it doesn't match your outlet, you can usually find an adapter that works.

Possible problems and solutions to this problem. 1. The piercing unit or the T DISC support may not be inserted correctly. *Possible solution. Press the piercing unit into its holder using both thumbs and check the position of the T DISC support. 2. May your T DISC has not been correctly inserted. *Possible solution. Place the T DISC with the printed side facing downwards so that the tab is resting in the intended slot. 3. Maybe your T DISC is damaged. *Possible solution. Try with another one.

For the Bosch Tassimo Vivy 2 machine, the discs are necessary for the machine to work. The discs contain the coffee or other drinks and the machine reads the barcode on the disc to know how to make the drink. Unfortunately, there is no other way to use this Coffee machine without the discs.

No, the yellow T-disc is not used at all, it is used for descaling the coffee machine, for cleaning, or if you want to brew only hot water.

We got this one yesterday and it won't work at all, does anyone know what might be wrong? Nothing happens when we press the button.

Try to push the button and hold for 5-6 sec. If nothing happens again, Then contact the seller

Also make sure that the barcode of the Yellow T-disc is on right place

You can use just hot milk or milk pods, both are correct, it's your choice which you like more.

The T-Discs must be in good position, not on left not on right, exactly on middle, in a natural position on na T-disc holder, and then close carefully. Inside the machine, it's difficult to clean the pipes after each use, and they can easily become clogged. In the worst case, leftover milk that sits for days can be harmful to your health. It's best to stick to water for optimal performance and safety.

Each coffee has a different amount, for example Latte Macchiato is 280ml, Cappuccino is 190ml and Espresso is 60ml. If you want more than this amount just press the button and hold until you reach the desired amount.

Brewing unit cannot be closed. T DISC holder or piercing unit has not been correctly inserted. 1. Press the piercing unit into the holder using both thumbs until it clicks audibly into place. 2. Check the position of the T DISC holder.

my Bosch Vivy 2 coffee maker arrived yesterday. Followed the very customer unfriendly instructions. The lid will not close when the yellow disk is inserted. Otherwise if the coffee maker is empty of the disk, then the lid closes. I don’t want to force the lid to close otherwise it will break. Repacked the coffee maker and have contacted the seller to return for a full refund. Very disappointed with Bosch. I’m now left with a large box of assorted Tassimo coffee pods. Will another brand of coffee machine fit them?

I'm very sorry about your case with the coffee machine. Unfortunately, these T-discs can only be used on Bosch coffee machines. It also if you are not satisfied with Bosch Vivy 2 you can try with Bosch Happy coffee maker ?

I'm having the exact same problem with mine. After hours of trying to get lid down with the yellow disc, I just flung it back into the box and am returning later in the week. I'm disgusted. Big flaw in the product. 🤬😠

Is this a new machine? Does he always give this kind of coffee? The coffees made by Tassimo vivy 2 are normally hot, you may have a problem with the heater of the machine? Try to make just a hot water with the yellow T-disc and see how warm is it?

@@EverydayThings with the yellow widget it comes out cold then it heats up. But the combined resuktbis a warm to cold water. With capsules, since, it is a small coffee, inky get the cold part, by the time it heats up, it has finished pouring!
