We bought this grinder recently. The first unpleasantness was when we cleaned the jars. the sides were so sharp that we cot our fingers. The second surprise was the high unpalatable sound. The jar covers are dome shaped preventing a proper hand holding of the mixie in operation. The 1000w was also making my 5 amps plug getting heated up, ans so I had to put it into a 15 amps socket. Also because of the 1000w ops the vibration was a bit too much. I recommend that you go in for preethi/ Sujatha/ butterfly or India made 750w mixie. Of course Preethi now belongs to Phillips and Butterfly to Crompton. We made a mistake.

Smaller two jars are for dry grinding. If you use them for wet grinding it will over flow.
