Bose has major wind noise issues with their new QC45. Also, their mic quality needs to be looked at with the QC45. They have many issues they should fix with both these headphones. Since NC700 is their new highlight product, they will probably look into it. It's higher possible they fix that than the ANC off option on the QC45, which makes them impossible in windy situations.
Yeah I hope so. I love the sound stage of the NC700s and the ANC is still great. Just wish they'd fix this issue. Then I'd recommend it for everyone. I haven't had any issues with my QC45s but I haven't been using them as much as I usually do when trying a pair of headphones. Thanks for the input!
Ive had these headphones for a couple of years. The buzzing and disconnecting issue just began happening on my S20 5G last week. They are now out of warranty and I refuse to spend $200 on a replacement set through bose just to encounter the same problem.
Yeah. I now have a Pixel 6 Pro and haven't come across this issue like I did with my S21 Ultra. The Bose QC 45s are almost just as good as the 700s and I haven't had that buzzing noise with them. It might be a 700s issue. Not sure what's going on but there is an alternative with the same quality if you want it. I wish they would fix the 700s and address the issue.
Same thing happened to me with my Samsung phone. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes to connect. The app i got connect just once now. Since the i can't connect it with my Samsung phone. I love sound signature but definitely disappointed. Sony is the way to go.
Ah. I don't have the audio sunglasses. It don't have an issue with any of my other Bose products. My QC Earbuds go through the Bose Music app and there's no issue and I use the Bose Music app on my Google 4XL and no issues. I'm not sure. You have a Samsung phone?
I have kind of a similar issue with Pixel 6. It goes in a reboot loop. Also, I was not able to pair it with the phone until I removed my Huawei watch from the phone list of devices. Just embarassing.
I have an issue where the touch controls just suddenly stopped working and there seems to be no fix for it. And a reset doesn't do anything. Have you ever encountered that problem?
Yes. And it'll disconnect and reconnect to your device a few times? Do you have a Samsung device? It would do that with my galaxy S21 Ultra but no issues with it paired to my Google Pixel 6Pro. I think it's an issue with Samsung and some Huawei phones connection to the headphones. Other phones I've tried do not have this issue.
Yeah. I think it's only with certain phones. My Pixel phones haven't had this issue with them but every Samsung phone I've had have had this issue. I have since moved to the Pixel 8 Pro but i still don't use them for this reason. I've since given them to a coworker who has an iPhone and they haven't complained yet. Bose needs to solve this issue. I think it's only a Bose NC700 issue and not a wider Bose product issue because I've used the Bose QC45s with various Samsung phones and no issues. Very annoying and no fix for it.
Honestly, not sure. I've given the headphones to a friend. I have since bought the Bose QC Ultra and don't have this issue. I think it's only with these. My friend has an iPhone and doesn't have this issue.
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Interesting, such a shame after spending that money. My partner also doesn't have the same issue 🤷 After spending a huge amount on them such a shame, and out of warranty. Thanks, it was good knowing it wasn't just me with this issue.
I purchased a pair of NC 700s in august and have been using them with my Galaxy S20 Ultra a lot since then and strangely, I never encountered this issue. Mine is on the Exynos chipset so probably it's a bug on the Snapdragon S21 Ultra?
I did not have any issues like that since I own them (a few months after you could buy them in the store), and I also have a samsung phone, but I get the creaking noise on the joints, which I'll be fixing soon.
Same exact issue with 2 Samsung phones. This is very annoying. It makes them unusable at time. I wouldn't recommend the Bose NC 700s to anyone. Total crap.
With Samsung Phones definitely not. With my Google Pixel phones and iPhones I've used it with they work perfectly fine and are a great pair of headphones. Just with they worked with my Samsung phones too. Very sad and wish Samsung would get it fixed. The QC45s work perfectly fine with Samsung phones so I'm guessing it's a hardware issue maybe. Not sure.
*I have the exact same pair of headphones and it does the same thing when it's connected to my Samsung Galaxy tablet it makes a weird buzzing noise and cuts off after 2 minutes and just keeps reconnecting and disconnecting every 2 minutes*
Yeah I hate it. I think it's an issue with Samsung and Bose and maybe a couple phone manufacturers. It doesn't happen with my Pixel 6 Pro or my Pixel 4XL
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Alright I will say this, I cleared my Bluetooth device list and downloaded the Bose Music app, connected my NC 700's headphones to the app and it's been about 30 minutes with no disconnection so far.
Yes. When you do that it works fine but then the next time you go to turn on the headphones and connect like let's say the next day, the issue will come back up. I've tried so many "fixes" and none of them have truly fixed the issue. I think it's a software issue between Samsung and Bose when it comes to these headphones. It doesn't happen with my Bose QC45 headphones or my Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds 1 and 2. Just the 700s.
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Yea this issue never happened with my AE2 SoundLink headphones either, but wow so I have to see what happens with with my 700's tomorrow, hopefully like you said Bose will add a software update to fix this.
