I upgraded to the QCs from the QC 35 IIs, I was extremely disappointed in the new QCs, my old QC 35 II are definitely better. I ended up returning the new QC and went with Sony XM5 (XM4 also better than Bose)
i just bought these qcs and i love them. ANC works amazing especially during commute and wind blocking. They are super comfy even with glasses. I tried the qc ultras and the qcs feel more comfy for sure! i would recommend getting them if you dont have any anc headphones.
I never turn off noise cancelling so don’t care if you can’t turn off. Also on head detection is gimmick not need feature. Usually turn that feature off because find it doesn’t work all the time anyway on others anyway
True, yet turning ANC off can help extend battery life. Plus some people get headaches from ANC so listening with ANC off would be an option (passive noise cancelling is sufficient in many cases).
@@skekukhif people have headaches with ANC there are plenty of other options for them to choose from(even cheaper). When you buy Bose headphones nowadays it's because of a great comfort, good build materials and ANC. If you do not need ANC, I am struggling to understand why you would go for Bose.
THANK YOU for calling out the lack of ability to disable noise processing. I really really hate when headphones force ANC on. And on these headphones the ANC creates a pretty annoying white noise. Quite a shame because I love the sound quality.
I got these headphones for 250 dollars and I’m very satisfied with it. I think if you’re looking for sound quality at a similar price you should choose the Sony XM5. If you can get a good discount on this one I highly recommend it. Very lightweight and doesn’t take any space at all because of the flat storage cover it’s really well designed
These exist to fix the issues of 45’s - in the new ones you can (kinda) choose ANC level and use them outside in windy conditions. Although it seems like a software update could have fixed these issues for 45’s.
@@skekukh yes, seriously. What's wrong with it? My QC 35 II only has 4.1 or 2 maybe, my Nuraphones only have 4.0, my Momentum 4 has 5.1 and my QC Ultras 5.3 Overall they all feel identical and I didn't notice any benefit of the higher bt version.
@@houman2009 Don't really care about gimmicks. Sound quality is decent enough on almost any headphones above 100$, so I only care about ANC and comfortable fit.
Do these allow for disabling multi-point connections under Source in the app? I know the QC Ultras added that ability, so I’m curious if the QCs did as well. That feature was always a problem on the QC 45s.
Get the Ultras if this is important. I missed this function too, then I started thinking...was their ANY situation when I nearly got deaf because of the ambient mode? Nope.
