Indeed. Also, I believe I figured out the feedback issue. Both systems amplify the sound, so the second effect is magnified. I've found it to be plenty loud at only about 10% volume on the second system.

I believe you are supposed to be able to, yes. I've just been using wired connections thus far. I also figured out the volume issue is that both speakers are amplifiers, so the second one ends up boosting the volume about 100x the original source, hence the feedback. Keep the volume low, and it's still very loud without having feedback.

Yes you can use 2 wireless transmitters. Also, I believe the reason you are getting feedback is you need to switch the line you are going into from mic in to line in

@@scotthanna4836 I did some testing of the feedback and found that it is because both of these are amplifying the signal coming in. So, when the second speaker is set to about 20% volume, the output is about equivalent to having it at 75% when plugged in directly.

The PA that I've been using was given to me my the owner of a trivia company that I host for. It is fine, but definitely focused more on volume for the money Rather than sound quality (or build quality, as one of the molded plastic handles broke off while I was carrying it)

This is a relatively small system for a PA, but I still find it quite useful as an auxiliary speaker to expand the sound and coverage without worrying about finding extra outlets, or as a monitor for live performance while a larger speaker faces outward. I don't know where Bose sources their parts, but I'd be shocked if they are employing "the cheapest speakers in China".

@pauls3880 yes it does. S1 is not ip rated, does not have feedback suppression, no 12 volt port for wireless mic, no master volume control, no phantom power.

when its brand new and no wireless system includes theres a rubberized cover on it.

My longest gig has been 3 and 1/2 hours so I cannot comment on the sound going flat at 4:00. Most gigs are 3 hours if you are a musician. There is a Bose app which will allow you to control the volume and EQ of each channel from your phone. So I'm sorry, commenter, but you are completely wrong on that point.
