Great video, very helpful and informative. i just bought these for US$120 and love the sound. i have a Bose sound system in my vehicle and this was the reason i even thought about these headphones. They do not disappoint! Great information about the wear and tear to watch out for. i look forward to receiving quality sound for at least the next 2 years, hopefully beyond.
Your pair held up well, aesthetically from what I can see in the the video. Mine have fallen apart. I take care of my stuff pretty well, specially when I pay top $$. The rubber cover came off both buds, the part that power button fell out, the battery now lasts about 15 minutes lol, the base rubber part at the points where the cables attached has come off. I have tried about 5 or 7 different pair of headphones, but non compare to the comfort and sound quality that the Bose offers. So, i will be buying a new pair. Hopefully they've worked out some of the issues, as long as i get a solid 1 year with them i think i will be happy.
Hi Saul, not sure if you are still following this but you should try contacting Bose :) There is a warranty exception on some SoundSport Wireless models due to factory defect. You might be able to get a new pair for free.
yeah first gen of the Bose SoundSport have that issue. like the rubber peeling and the buttons falling off. they said they fixed it with their 2 generations but idk.
Just got em a few days ago was worried about the build quality cause of a lot of negative reviews relating to durability Just hope that these earphones last! 🤞🏿
The thing that concerns me is how bulgy they appear out front. Does that bulky thing that pops out of your ear interfere when you’re laying on your side like when you’re laying on the bed?
I have had two pairs since 2018, the first one broke the clip and after 6 months the plastic came off and the battery stopped working, today I am trying to obtain a guarantee for my other pair because suddenly stopped working
Should I buy these buds or buy a pair of truly wireless buds? I'm looking for good, convenient earbuds that aren't too expensive but will last every day use
colter newkirk See my comments, the problem is connectivity to the left ear plug, Simon answered me back correctly. So if you don’t want that kind of problem in future, then go for completely wireless system.
@@colternewkirk6163 I have the jabra elite active 65t and they just arent very comfortable. They cause some serious ear fatigue. Also, if you sweat a lot, water will get down into your ear and it will make a plunging sound while running.
colter newkirk I’ve looked at them too but ultimately decided against them. I run about 25ish miles a week currently and I sweat A lot. I’ve had two pairs of Powerbeats 3 go out in 1.5 years. If you’re one that sweats, you’re going to want the warranty. If you buy the jabras new you get a 2 year warranty against dust and sweat. Also true wireless are nice but I don’t really mind having a cord. Additionally, another problem with the jabras is that when you want to utilize the controls on the earbuds, you’re jamming the bud into your ear. Extremely uncomfortable to me personally.
Wow! Over a hundo to own? Same kind same color.. I found a pair in trashcan in an airport.. only thing wrong was the ear tip on right was torn, didn't fit ear, but I did use you tube to do research..amazing. they work but not effeciantially due to torn eartip so I don't get the bose sound performance I'm looking/hearing for. They look expensive and I'm sure they'll sound great once I get new tips.. certain sizes too, need maybe to check on that for better fitting and sounds. High usage creates breakdown on such an expensive item for the consumers..
My power button completely fell off after the third year, the on and off switch fell as well however I can still turn it on and the sound is still great believe it or not.
I'm looking for using these inside helmets..does the bulky design may cause some inconvenience? Also do you think will it be possible to pick calls while on the move(not saying its a good practice)
I bought one pair and within 6 month’s the batterie couldn’t be charged anymore. Bose changed them for another pair. After 4 months the same problem.... another exchange organized from Bose . After that the third pair had the same problem, i lost my confidence in Bose. .......
The headphones are amazing but today got this issue when I tried to charge them they would only charge for 15seconds it would show the green light indicator that they r fully charged but when I connect them they r charged about 10% so I’m trying to figure out what’s the problem It’s a big issue for me cuz I have iPhone 7 I don’t have the USB headphones so I use Bluetooth headphones idk what to do now probably goin to buy new ones if this issue doesn’t get solved till yesterday
I have used mine a couple of times. I charged them yesterday and today they won’t start .. any ideas ? I have follow what BOSE suggested still they won’t turn on
I would try these things: 1. Hold the start/stop button for more than 30 seconds. Charge them 2. Leave them for a week and charger again If these don't work, the battery is fried, exchange for another one asap
How do I charge using the charging cable? I just opened the box for my new Bose SoundSport? A charging cable was provided but I don’t see a an opening on the pods themselves that fit the the charging insert on the cable? Please help:)!!
I have the exact same ones and all of a sudden when I plug it in it flashes a yellow light about 4 times then a steady red light. Can someone help with this? Perfect condition but about 2 years old. Thanks!
I did not do anything differently. I just didn't fold them or put them in the pouch when they are not in use. May be you are putting them in that pouch?
It's been about two years for mine also I have the same exact one there's only a few things I didn't really like the clip that holds them on your shirt I've lost it at least once and the overall size of them and the charging doesn't seem to be on par sometimes I get for hours sometimes six but overall great buy when I bought mine I got them from Best Buy for 199
Mine left headphone is not transmitting any sound, I don’t find any software update in the Bose+ app, or any troubleshooting guide. It is also almost one and half year old. And yes some part are falling off. Yes my right headphone is giving a quality sound.
Sraboni Goswami i just repair that doesn’t charge. after repair the charging problem, i find no sound on the left. final answer is the control board which connect the wires of left earphone don’t solder well. soldering again and solve
Mine were like this but flipped. I am on my second pair-luckily my first pair was under warranted (i did not pay for the warrantee), so i got a brand new pair for free, just had to send back the other one. My current ones are towards the end of their life so I am debating on what to do now.
I disagree i have had phone calls and they claim they can hear my surroundings better than they can hear me which is terrible because my voice is closer than other things like my tv and other people around me and that should not be the case but they are great for music or if you use them to watch something on your tablet or any other device
I purchased 4 of these and used total 6 of these as I was lucky enough to be able to claim for warranty twice, and all 6 of them died before 1.5 years. Most of them died immediately after 1 year after the warranty was over. I am very frustrated and agitated about the quality about Bose products and decided to never ever purchase any product from Bose. What worth is it going for Bose when the quality is worse of those from China? Shame on you Bose.
They are poor quality!!, Also when you claim, they only have a one-year guarantee, the only option they give it is to buy others because they cannot be fixed and they are not reviewed either. It is the worst purchase you can make.
