Bose SoundSport Wireless Review 

I purchased these last week (upgraded from Denon WH150 Bluetooth earbuds that I've had for several years) and so far they are excellent. Stay in my ears and I love the sound quality. Bass is definitely emphasized, but they also have a clear crisp sound as well. I really like how at any time the power button can be pressed and you will hear the battery percentage status annunciated to you. No issues with sweat and I think this has more of a chance of happening in more extreme situations from what I have read.

purchased these a year ago. after 8 months of daily use the sound started to go out in one ear. walked into the Bose store without the box or receipt. New pair handed over right on the spot. based on this hassle free experience i got the 3 year warrant for $20 that I didnt go for originally. bluetooth headphones never last more than a year and most warranties are only one year so that seemed like a good deal. I find that cheaper headphones lack the waterproofing internally so once sweat and moisture get in even if you never soak them in rain they still start to fail. Great review on the over the ear V-Moda Wireless 2. I just picked them up for $260 with free shipping from V-moda.. almost $100 price cut.

These have amazing sound "depth" and clarity for wireless earbuds IMO, far superior to the Jaybird X3. Comfort wise they have no competition. The only issue is wind noise when biking.

These are great! Great sound and they get plenty loud unless you have a hearing issue. I use with my iphone, ipad, iPod touch, Fire 10, and my Dell 2 in 1. They are easy to set to multiple devices.

Bought a pair of the blue coloured ones, and though I wish I had gone for the black ones, I still think they're one of the best pair of wireless earphones I've ever used

"The range is pretty average at about thirty feet" - I just wanted to give my input, I've recently purchased a pair of these. I can say that the range has exceeded more than 30 feet. I left my phone down while doing walking lunges at the opposite end of the turf lanes (~100 feet) and I can say that I haven't experienced any skipping/distortion to the audio. At first, I was skeptical from purchasing these mainly for a couple reasons, that being one of them, but that seemed to have proved me wrong.

Good review, subscribed. I recently got the Powerbeats 3 at Best Buy for $119 but they just went on sale for $89 in November. Either way, I was already on the fence between these Bose Soundsport Wireless and the Powerbeats 3. Combining my experience with the Powerbeats 3 so far (weak volume/bass) and your review... definitely returning the Powerbeats 3 for these Bose Soundsport Wireless.

Thanks for the review. @SoungGuys, was confused between this and Sony xb80bs, wanted noise isolation feature for gym, got a chance to try both, went with soundsport, It sounds great and no problem with ambient noise as it is quite loud, thanks for the review , It helped in making an informed decision

use this with a smart watch while running. Cel phones are so 1990s-2000s for music while running

How do you think they'll hold up against the X3s? Would it be worth waiting for them coming out before buying the Bose SSW?

I have these. They are great. However, the cable started to peel off after a year, so I have a great pair of earbuds that I don't use because the cable is practically nude.

just amazing quality. the best out for top prospects. you wont be disappointed.

I like the sound of the bose, the bass is tight and doesn’t get overpowered with low sub freq. I actually hate bass boosted phones because they never sound good and I prefer the more balanced natural sound of these. Disclaimer I am a bass head but I prefer real bass that shakes your body and I can feel it in my chest, my system in my car is where I truly enjoy the bass experience, not from little earbuds.

Hey, you say that if we're looking for sound accuracy we shouldn't be looking into fitness headphones. I still want bluetooth earbuds though, as I want to be able to listen to music on the go (I currently have the Parrot Zik which are amazing but a bit bulky in the situations). Any model you'd recommend?

Are these good for everyday use not just exercise?

I've upgraded to these. the current one j actually have are my second pairs. the first pair had battery issues. they sent me a brand new pair for free expidited without any issues. the new versions were manufactured in like March 2017 which of you buy these look out for. the 2016 manufactured ones are shit quality. they also come with a clip because the wire usually slides to one side.

Hows isolation on this? I hate hearing everything outside and having to blast the volume to 80%

I bought a pair in July and how do you tell if yours has sweat damage? Does the headphones still work but sound is distorted or does it no longer work at all?

I don't plan on wearing them for any type of exercise , i just want wireless ear buds are these good ?

I have these and they keep disconnecting on my phone (iphone and samsung note20) its really annoying getting disconnected mid watching or listening. Kept on saying ready to pair and it's not turning off. Dunno if its because these were old, firmware is upto date tho.

Meh I think jaybird freedom or x2 are better and can be found cheaper

I find the fit to be pretty crap keep slidong out when sweaty. The wind catches them really bad!! And no noise isolatiol at all.

are there any fake of these? my friend bought one from Thailand and bought it from him. it doesn't connect to the Bose connect app and it only connect to one device at a time and I'm afraid to use it while exercising.

I cannot for the life of me get them to stay in my ears.

They are not worth 130 imo. My Sony extra bass ear buds sound just as good.

Are they compatible with iPhones?

I purchased 4 of these and used total 6 of these as I was lucky enough to be able to claim for warranty twice, and all 6 of them died before 1.5 years. Most of them died immediately after 1 year after the warranty was over. I am very frustrated and agitated about the quality about Bose products and decided to never ever purchase any product from Bose. What worth is it going for Bose when the quality is worse of those from China? Shame on you Bose.

The rubber falls off of them I had 4 pairs.

These things are poorly made. The rubber seal lifts up around the controls of the housing on the earpiece. You will be pissed. The inline control is also badly made. Sweat and water will get in. I don't think the issue has been fixed as Bose claim.

Just had to replace them after one month of use. I got them for Christmas and already they won't power on. If $130 is a lot to waste, like me, then fuck these headphones. If the second pair die out, Im officially done with bose. Fucking Bozos, more like.
