I have a Bose L1 Pro 16. If I get the T8S can I use the 8 channels the T8S provides as well as the 3 channels that come wit the Pro 16? So, the question is, can I use 11 channels?
I have had such terrible luck with these mixers (T4s) and have sent 3 of them back. No one can figure our what is going on with the Channel 2 crackling/static and low end hum. There could be nothing plugged into the input and the Global Preferences will show Channel 2 receiving and sending a signal. The signal becomes exponentially worse when the Phantom Power button is pressed. I've sent 3 back to Sweetwater with the same issue... then waited a couple months and tried again. This one is doing the same thing. Have you ever heard of anyone experiencing this, or better yet, know how to fix it?
If the Bose T8S is head to head with a QSC TM-8... who wins? They are at the price point... I would love to see a shootout between a T8S and the TM-8!!!
@@sweetwater Is the T8S compatible with L1 Model II through the Tonematch cable? Looks as if only the T4S is compatible in that way. Or am I seeing that incorrectly?

@@sweetwater that's not quite correct. The T4S Tonematch port can connect to L1 Model II but the T8S port is for power only not for digital connection. Instead you have to use a balanced TRS XLR-to jack cable into the analog input of the L1. Also note it will not be a summed mono connection so if only using one L1 you need to pan all input to one side and then link the appropriate main out to the L1.
