Finally! A video that someone compares the new 700 surround with the older mode,,, thnk u god!!!! Nice information thanks alot bro,,, i just bought the 700 surround today,,, was hoping i made the roght choice instead of buying the older model
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 😇💯 Most definitely the four way firing omnijewel700 worth every penny in my opinion 💯
Hey jb ! This is me again :) like you’re the only one who really reads his followers txts that’s why I’m here ! :) thanks for the advices I’ll make everything w the Bose 700 sound bar I get the complete set ! Thanks to u ! The sound is wow no words ! Thank you one more time ‘ regard from ecuador !
Great video! I loved it. I think this is the only video on RU-vid that explains the Surround Speakers 700 so well and in great detail. I have a Bose Soundbar 500 and Bass Module 500 with which I hooked up the Surround Speakers 700 and I must say that they go very well with the setup. I was initially skeptical to splurge on Surround 700 but after listening to them, I think it was worth.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind words😇 Congratulations on your awesome system you can definitely follow this video for the 500 Setup also I have many more videos that can show you ways to expand if you ever want here in my bose folder link with all my bose content ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ Thank you so much for watching😇
Finally got them! Just came to say thank you dude!!! They just make the setup brilliant. They don’t sound much, but they just add the last touch to the sound that make the setup amazing. When you reproduce Dolby it’s an other level. The experience now with my 700 setup it’s just brilliant. Definitely a great improvement. Thanks for the recommendation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇💯 that is awsome thank you so much for sharing your experience with everyone! Enjoy your awesome new Bose system 😉
I recently add the omnijewels 700 to my bose 900 sound bar + module bass 700 and damn!!!!! You were right!!! The sound is fantastic! Just amazing! dolby atmos!!! Woww i love this sound!!!! This omnijewel speakers truly are a jewel!!! i bought them thanks to you!! congrats you have the best review!!
Have you tried the invisible wireless 300 with bose 900 soundbar before you have purchased the the wireless 700? Just try to check before I do the upgrade
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 Yes the virtually invisible 300 or Omnijewel700 or bose surround speakers will work with the 900. They have just been re-branded but are the same and will work with 300 500 600 700 and 900 bars same with Bass700 and 500 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
I Never Leave comments , but sitting here listening to my Bose 700 Soundbar with the Bose Surround Speakers 700 and Bose 700 Base Module I just have to post to say how fantastic this is, it’s not cheap, but trust me when I say you will not be disappointed, it is simply amazing! It brings a whole new dimension to movies as you are immersed in sound, the sound quality is simply awesome. Even listening to music through Tidal immerses you in a sound which I’ve yet to match. I have Klipsch, Naim Audio, Sonos and Apple speakers around the house but the Bose setup just blows my mind every time and brings a smile to my face every time and takes me to a very relaxing place when chilling with tunes. Just buy this setup, you will never regret it!!
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support. thank you for sharing your experience or your 700. it's always so helpful to get other people's opinion and I appreciate you taking your time to give such a detailed response. also here is my Bose folder with more content if you're interested ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Well after watching your videos I'm definitely buying Bose instead of the Arc . I don't have the cash to buy everything right now but I will start with the 700 surround speakers I'll keep them in my room till I buy the sound bar 700 for the living room. Once again thank you for the info & your help
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and comment😇💯 That is awesome Im glad I could help. I Do want to make sure you know the rears will not work without the 300 500 or 700 bar. Let me know how you like everything once you get it and set it up😇
I ordered mine as soon JB gave me a shout out that he’s ordered one for reviews. I trusted your judgement and went with my guts too. I can confidently say I’m happy that I made that purchase. Bose was kind enough to include the floor stand with it for a better price in store. You can only get this offer in store I believe at that time. Anyways I cant thank enough for taken the time to make us make an informed purchase decision. Man, you are doing amazing job here and I commend you for your helping someone like me. My advise : if you have the old model, I would suggest still go for this speakers for the sound. The same goes for if you are new and looking for a surround speaker for your boss 700/500, this speakers are a must. Thanks
I have the Bose 900 with the virtual invisible speakers because I used to have the old system the SoundTouch 300…your video is making me want to buy the 700 speakers…what a difference I could hear! Thank you
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 🙏 Absolutely i think they add that next level of immersion. Here is my 900 reviews Part1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-chntxMcHQmY.html Part 2 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_GdGFEs87gk.html
JB, Thank you so much for the quick response. I have hi ceilings and thinking about buying Bose stands. My wife hates wires and speakers.( lol) so here’s my question. 1. In your opinion, how far apart must the 700 speakers be? If I have to place them close together , what’s the closest you would recommend? What’s the farthest you would recommend? Thanks a million!
Don't worry completely understand my wife is exactly the same lol. Remember the speaker wireless are long and pretty small and can blend with baseboards then you can hide the boxes under the sitting area because you have so much length in the speaker cables. But min dis I would say 7 to 10 ft apart
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 😇💯 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NFhivJ3Vu_o.html
One word, wow! Excellent video JB. Thanks for this. I have my 5.1 set coming with the 700 soundbar and 700 surround speakers. After seeing this video, I just can't wait! I have a very large living room with glass wall on 2 sides! I really hope this won't jeopardize my setup.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored and thankful for your kind words. I'm excited for you my friend you will love the 700. As far a your room goes you will be fine. Try to stick to my video steps and suggestions as best you can. Get a good spread on the rears and the adapt IQ process will do the rest.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored by your support 🙏😇 sorry to hear that you are having issues. I recommend doing a complete master reset of you system and following my Setup video instructions. If the pro still occurs after that you will know its a hardware problem and not a software. Then In that case call Bose for a warranty repair.
Thank you so much will do that. Tomorrow i ordered the speaker stand and will do the set up just like you said. Thanks for replying great channel 💪💪💪 keep it up
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 I appreciate you very much😊💯 Here is my bose folder full of information ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Hi JB! Lorenzo from Venice Italy Watched all your vids about Bose, great job man. I've the soundbar 700 with module bass 700 and a couple of days ago i've ordered the old rear speakers "invisible 300" since i didn't know of the new ones. I'm still in time to change the order but i'm trying to realize if the gap in cost (€ 299 vs € 549) justify the new surround speakers 700 and I need an help to sort it out... from you of course :) The rear speakers will be placed behind the sofa, attached to the wall (the cables will come out from it), at 1,3 mt. high. Could this position be a limit to enhance the "360°" potential of the new surround speakers 700? Thanks in advance for your precious support!
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇🙏 Great question first let me say they bolth add new level of enjoyment and will complete the system to a 5.1 Dolby Digital system now to be clear the new 700 speakers are definitely better it definitely make the overall system sound better but if they're going to be flat against the wall definitely get the virtually invisible speakers if you can add a little Shelf a gives at least a 6 to 12 inch gap between the speaker and the back wall then go for the 700 obviously the cost difference is really substantial if you think about it so that is kind of a decision I can't answer for you. I can say I feel for me personally it was worth the money based off of the performance if you do decide to use the virtually invisible speakers here is my setup video utilizing those ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ac-oLIWJjh8.html Thank you again so much for watching I really do appreciate you congratulations on your new awesome system and Venice Italy is beautiful thank you for watching from all the way over there❤
Thank you very much for your comment! So quick!! your analysis is very interesting and considering the position where I will place the speakers I think I will keep the virtually invisible. You who have tested both, besides sound at 360 degrees and different aesthetics, did you hear a lot of difference as a purely sound quality and clarity? or on this aspect the two speakers are on the same line? Thank you again man!
@@loriclio the 700 seems to allow more unique sounds. But again they all sound great if you watch the video with headphones on i do a soundtest one versus the other you can actually hear the difference. But i just think for a on wall Setup your current speakers are the best for you but again this is my opinion. I appreciate your support And glad I could at least attempt to help you out 🙏😇
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 Unfortunately you can only add one set of speakers and 2 bass modules. It would be great of you could add rear and front speakers however 😉 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH&si=tSBV7YzI0ezz2cJE
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 💯 In my opinion i do think it affects the sound and won't mount mine. However it not the end of the world if you do. Here is my bose video folder full of information ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
Hi JB, what's the best solution to place the 700 surround speaker? Omnijewel floor stand(i heard it breaks after 6 momths) or the table stand (i heard 700 is not compatible) or any best cheap solution if you can save my bucks and i hardly have 4-5 inches of gap between my sofa and the rear wall, please help me out, Thanks!
Thank you for watching and subscribing. I'm thankful for your support 💯 To be honest, you can simply put them on the back of your sofa if it has a support board on it. or just put them on an end table. Or any generic stand that has a flat surface you can put them on. But My Bose floor stands are years old and they have not broke. it's shouldn't be something you really ever have to mess with so I would think if people are saying they break they must be doing something wrong But I think you should be fine with it . ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HWEqr_PC_WL8yr0YMvV6I6k&si=AUP4JvGvfaj4fvjc
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your continued support 😇🙏 lol well its definitely going to sound amazing enjoy my friend😉 any problems I made this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EOE8S0tp2Dg.html
@@JbTechFanatic i love the channel ! an btw my bass on my 700 module is really low, do i need to return it or is this normal and i just need to tweak it?
@@lonelyboysole remove it from the app unplug then reconnect it and run adapt IQ process also turn bass to 100 in app if that doesn't work maybe exchange it
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 💯 they work for the cubes but not the omnijewel700 speakers unfortunately 😕 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
Greta Video. Had a question regd the Surround speakers 700. I want to wallmount the speakers, but doing so, i believe one side would be facing the wall which would defy the purpose. Do u suggest in that case i get the other(300$) surround speakers?
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 if you mounted them flush you would lose one but still have 3 grills firing sound. The other options are to set them slightly twisted and not flush if mounted allows. Or you can get the OmniJewel700 speaker ceiling mounts. Otherwise the original rears will give you a much more powerful punch straight forward and could also be a great option 😊 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 💯 Unfortunately only 1 set of rears can be used. You can add two of the same bass modules. Here is my bose video folder full of information ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HV1m25PEymp6bZ4mt6X5nlA
awesome video! I'm a happy owner of the ST300 and the acoustimass subwoofer. I used them mainly for streaming music and podcasts. Would you recommend buying the surround speakers fot this purpose? I'm confused since I have read reviews saying that if the source audio is not 5.1 surround speakers won't sound at all. since music and podcasts are not 5.1 encoded would that be the case? what's your opinion?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 😇💯🙏 yes i definitely recommend the rears for music. Don't worry with none 5.1 format the speakers now can also be cranked up. Thankful that bose fixed that problem about a year or so ago. Hi Please forgive me for all my questions but I need to be sure You see I cannot decide between this Bose system and a Dolby Atmos sound bar like the Samsung q90r, But tell how easy is this Bose complete system to setup I don’t have your technical prowess, Thanks
You own both, Well tell me how accurate would you say is the Dolby Atmos experience is it on the Samsung system that could be a deciding factor for me, But I think I know what you are going to say You live and breathe BOSE (LOL)
I am México here it's more expensive around 20% more, I bought the complete bose 700 system and it's amazing sound, it's my first time I bought Bose sistem for TV but I can say the movies and games it's pretty different, I watched this reviews before to buy it and I can say thank you because that pushed me to take the choice which soundbar get it
I'm so honored and thankful that you watched and subscribed. Its awesome to hear your enjoying your new 700! Sorry to hear that it is more expensive 😪 but as long as it makes you happy its worth it 😇
Chanced upon your Bose videos when I was looking into the Bose 700. Bose should pay you for all the Bose related videos. Wishing your family and you good health all the way from Singapore. Fight Covid-19.
Thank you so much for watching im so thankful to you for subscribing and your kind words. Take care stay healthy also my friend😇🙏💙💯 it is definitely been a stressful time to say the least 🙂
Best info yet. I just returned a 900 sound bar as. It was giving me connection fits. Waiting for the 700 within a week i hope. ? Can you connect the 700 via Ethernet via Wi-Fi?

Hi JB. I'm from Singapore. The said surrround 700 is not launched in my country. Nevertheless, i realized that those speakers looked similar to the ones used in Lifestyle 650. Are those the exact same speakers as the new surround 700? Are the onnijewel speakers frm Lifestyle 650 compatible and can be pair to the soundbar 700? Thanks in adv.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support😇🙏💯 unfortunately no they are not the same but do look very similar. Unfortunately they do not work with cross system of the 650 and 700😪
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 🙏 The Bose700 is a great system and a great product to complement any system of your choice. The sound quality is the same unless your tv is older and does have example hdmi arc and Dolby 5.1 and the external devices does. It always comes down to the quality supported by the outsource 😊 also here is my bose video folder ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Hi just seen your video. I currently have a Bose 300 soundbar along with the 300 bass unit and the original surround speakers. I'm looking to upgrade the soundbar to the new 900. Bose tell me I can still use the 300 bass unit and the original surround speakers. Is that correct? Also I'd like to upgrade the surround speakers to the 700 ones? Or what other options would you consider? Hope you can help.
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 here is my 900 video it will really help answer your questions ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-chntxMcHQmY.html But yes the bass and rears will work and I definitely recommend the 900 with omnijewel700 rears speakers 💯
Hi again JB. Great review of the 700 speakers. Even watching this video through youtube and using fairly decent desktop speakers with a sub, the difference between the old and new speakers was evident, crisp sounding with more space in the surround on the 700 speakers. I have to say I was quite surprised that tall, thin speakers could offer that quality in sound, but then again, it is Bose, so what did I expect lol. Thanks for uploading, very enjoyable. Wishing you good health.
As always I appreciate you and im thankful for your support🙏❤ I'm vey happy i was able to make a video that could somewhat convey the sound I was hearing. Its so hard to share the experience sometimes through a video😇
@@JbTechFanatic Okay. Thanks for your replies. I observed that it's not working via wireless or Bluetooth, can you explain to me how it's work with the two sub or how it's hooked up?
All you have to do is follow my setup video and set up your system. Then set up an additional sub the same way you set up the first one using the Bose music app. go to settings accessories speakers press add accessory follow the prompts. You also can use the Bose remote hold the Bluetooth play and pause buttons for 5 seconds until the bar starts to Blink. also to use two subs they must be done wirelessly only. you have to run the adapt IQ process once connected. The subs must be new and have not been connected to any other bar. Your 700 Soundbar will not connect to them as it will think they're for a different product. So you must do a manufacturer reset on both of the subs to start fresh. If you're constantly having an issue and unable to connect I recommend deleting everything resetting it and starting fresh😉 here is my Bose folder full of information ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ

I am thinking about upgrading from the 300 surround speakers to the 700. We currently have the 300 on end tables on both sides of our couch but wondering if I should install them on the wall or ceiling?
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 ceiling mount is a great way to have ot set up also especially the omnijewel700 speakers ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
@@JbTechFanatic Thanks JB! Where do I put the receiver if mounting the 700 speakers in the ceiling since you said in one of your videos not to put it behind drywall so they have a good "line of sight"?
They have a long speaker wire for each that go to tye box that you can drop behind the wall or use wire covers. Then leave the receiver boxes at the bottom but outside the wall
Loved the video.... Had a quick question... Is the sub placed in line with the soundbar before the TV..... Or when you say couch, its in line with the surround? ..I have a sound touch 300 with subs n the surround
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 Awesome system I also covered the 300 here is my bose folder ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ You can follow the same method for placement in this video. The sub in the corner back of the room off to the right side. Line of sight is not important unless you have dropping issues.
Great review. May I ask if you're heard the lifestyle 650? Im trying to decide if sound quality from larger soundbar 700, sub 700, surround 700 is as good as/ better than the wired lifestyle 650 with 4 jewel 700, sub 700 and smaller center. What are your thoughts?
Thank you so much for watching And subscribe me I'm thankful for your support😇🙏 yes I have heard them I own each first let me start by saying that they are both amazing systems I really don't think that you will be disappointed with either however the 650 will always be Bose top of the line surround sound basically to put it into simple terms I think for music the 700 sounds better and for surround sound the 650 sounds better as the 650 has true sound separation and Bass frequency giving you a little bit better surround sound now this is to a very trained ear some people might not hear any difference it really depends on the kind of content the size of your room and the Acoustics of your room. Having said that obviously these can't be apple-to-apple because there is quite a bit price difference between the two systems based off dollar-for-dollar I feel the 700 is a better buy but blanketed out what's the better system the 650 I highly recommend going to a bow Center if you have one where you live to see if you can hear them obviously we all hear differently and we all like different things you might like the 700 better or you might like the 650 better but to be clear either one you choose you will have a wonderful experience and I believe you will be very happy😉
Great video, Curious. I have a bose soundbar 700 and base sub.The sound bar supports eARK .Just shopping for a new tv right now and curious if it will be much more of an improvement if I cant try and find a newer tv that supports eARC keeping in mind that my bose does not support DTS hd and DTS X. Dolby atmos dolby true hdWondering if I will be wasting my money trying to find a tv with this option. Thoughts|
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇💯 That's a great question and really depends on what kind of tech consumer you are. If you want to have the latest technology at all times and that's really important than yeah I would want eArc. The nice thing is more and more tvs are going to have them. But I don't think that it is extremely important as you can always buy a reciever eArc compatible. The 700 itself could easily at any time add a atmos software update and sell a add in upfiring speakers. But it will not change your immediate situation in anyway due to the simple fact that you listed. Format that the bose support as of now😇
@@JbTechFanatic Thanks so much for the fast reply! I`m Just a casual movie watcher nothing more:) So, in a nutshell do you think I will get a much more impressive sound difference sound from this bose soundbar if I get an upgrade to an Earc hdmi rather than a stock ark hdmi? Thanks again! Love your channel
JB, another awesome video bro. I bought my Bose 700 system about 3 months ago and your previous setup video was the only reason I was able to get it sounding to its max potential at that time. The new recent software updates have made the system even more amazing. I had the same issue with changing my Samsung 4tv to Dolby Digital and at the first I had to switch all my external media streaming devices, including the DIRECTV box, to Dolby audio. Then it still wouldn’t give me the option on the tv and I couldn’t understand why. Finally the way I was able get it to work, was to use bitstream as the HDMI input format, instead of PCM and then bingo, it let me switch to Dolby Digital. That’s the only way it’ll work and using PCM for some reason doesn’t allow it on my setup, weird but true. Those new 700 speakers sound amazing and now I’m seriously considering getting them and taking the sound to the next level. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel your awesome Im happy I was able to help you enjoy your awesome new 700 a little more😊😉 I appreciate you sharing. Whats funny is I had issues with bitstream cutting out. I get Dolby Digital to pop up without any issues. I was trying to put a finger on the exact cause. But everyone has a little different issue. One thing that did pop out to me everyone that replace their HDMI cable with a different one than the one that came with the system it fix the problem instantly I've always been big into upgrading all my HDMI cables right away but I would assume that probably 99% of the people just use what's in the box even with the soundtouch 300 it was the same thing they would get a new cable boom problem fixed very interesting and it usually starts to give people problem right after a software update I'm happy to say though now with the new software and everything I've troubleshooted a lot less problems and a lot more happy people😊 I truly appreciate you let me know if you ever get the 700 rears what you think of them🤔😉
Jb TechFanatic, quick follow up ? Can I add the new Bose 700 surround speakers to my already existing set up, with the older model surround speakers? And if so, would you recommend doing so? I only ask because it would be a shame to not have a use for the older ones and that’s $300 invested in them. Thanks
Great video. I'm considering purchasing the full package for my basement. my issue is i'd have to point the rear speakers to the ceiling. You said in the video its best to be 1 foot in front of a wall on a table or couch. Is the ceiling still ok? Should i be 1 foot away from the wall/bulkhead still? Also, do i only need power to get to those rear speakers? as you said its wireless... Thanks for the awesome info!
Thanks for checking out my latest video glad to hear from you😊 here is a link to part one so you can get a close-up on the speakers in particular and plug. but yes they have to be plugged in just like the old ones ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W__w9W6-3yw.html I still follow my same Theory the difference with these speakers is they fire out all four sides the beauty is you can still Point them up however you're still going to get up and back and side firing sound it completely changes the sound of your system it's amazing I love it! I personally now cant really hear any difference when i use my atmos system.
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 You can only connect one set or rear speakers. But you can pair two bass modules of the same kind 500 or 700. Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 honestly any will be fine go with the cheapest option available depending on what you're finding currently on the market with supply shortages. even just on side tables are fine. My rule of thumb is if you're going to use any kind of stand you want it to be nearly ear level when you're sitting on your sofa otherwise you can also do ceiling mount put them in a corner with about 12 in from each Corner side to allow all four sides to properly let Sound flow we shall hear is to run adapt IQ once everything is in position. ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
I see you have 2x 700 speakers. How did you place both speakers. Are they both at the back? One on the floor ? One on a stand ? I have ceiling mount . If I buy another one there do I place the second 700
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support💯 unfortunately only one set can be used per bar but you can use two bass modules of the same kind like 2 500 or 2 700 modules here is my bose folder full of information ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HXYpKEY4W5vrw3p6zGdrjuH
Fun fact . My 700 surround sound was way too low. So I covered it with cloth and socks ,did a calibration again and they were triple the sound. Maybe you didn’t have this problem. But for me it was wayyy to low like people would ask me if the surround sound was on or not. Was disappointed initially but now they are louder with the hack . Maybe try it out if you think your one’s could go Louder
I have not had the problem personally but have helped many people solve theirs. That is a cool idea and makes sense as tge adapt iq process will keep upping it until it hears it properly. Thank you so for for the suggestion I'm going to try it😊
Hi, do you think is a good idea to set up 4, 700 surround speaker I already have the 700 bass module, 700 sound bar and 700 rears I’m thinking to add 2 more up front.
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇🙏 unfortunately you can only add one set of either rear speakers. But you can add 2 bass modules and its pretty amazing. JB your video always nice. Just have one question to ask did you have any problem to use Soundtouch300 or Soundbar700 5.1 with Netflix through Nvidia Shield and got no 5.1 surround?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇🙏 unfortunately I dont use a shield so cant say first hand. But I do know ive read people had problems. But from my understanding the latest software updates fixed the issue😇
Hi JB thanks for all your help with the bose support vids! quick question if you would please. Just got my new Samsung tv and I see under sound there is a Dolby and a Dolby plus. When I set it to dolby plus I get no sound from my tv? but I get sound from movies and youtube? Is this just a setting that you would click when watching movies? thanks in advance for always answering my questions!!!
Hey, nice vid ;) I bought the 700 soundbar 1 year ago and am a fan of it. However, my living room is not very large and my sofa is against the wall. I did not take the bass module as the soundbar does a very good job with bass at level 30. And for the size of the room Do you think surrounds speakers can be good for enveloping sound without the bass module?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇🙏😇 Absolutely the rear speakers will bring a actual surround experience and are extremely enjoyable for watching movies 😉
Hi, I just bought the 700 Soundbar and because I liked how it's sound, I want to go for the entire 700 system but unfortunately in my country I don't find the 700 speakers, can you please give me an alternative idea? Thx!
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 🙏 you can get the standard rears called the Bose surround speakers or Bose virtually invisible speakers for 300usd. Also here is my bose video folder full of videos including on those also😇 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Hi, quick question: I think you mentioned that you set the volume for center and surrounds as 20 and 100, respectively. Can you share what volume level you use for the whole system when you watch movies? Thanks.
This depends on what room I in what movie I'm watching and who's watching it with me my wife is not keen on really loud sound LOL. If you want crazy movie like experience try 80😉
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇💯🙏 I say all 3 lol .. Honestly you cant go wrong with any of them😉 all great systems. But If i had to pick one🤔🤔🤔🤔 I guess i would still say Bose😏
@@JbTechFanatic Just wanted to say thank you for your timely response and for your consideration in giving me your knowledgeable opinion. I really enjoyed the video. Once again, thank you so much for the information.

Hi Another question sorry to ask so many, But I have to be sure about this Bose system, I have two questions,One dose the Bose 700 support variable refresh rate, And two, Will it support Dolby vision. Thanks
How is the experience with the Soundbar 500, 500 Sub and the 700 surround? I have sort of a small apartment and can purchase the 700 system but am concerned about getting complaints from neighbors. Should I just get th 700 and listen at lower volumes or stick with the 500 room is about 15 x 15
I already have the original surround speakers (small ones) Thinking of getting the new 700 Is it possible to hook up both surround speakers new and old at the same time?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😊💯🙏 unfortunately no only 1 set. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W__w9W6-3yw.html
Hi just got the rear surround speakers...i already have the soundbar and bass 700..id like my surround to be hook up my ceiling...can u recommend something or a bracket that is compatible..tnx
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 😇🙏 Not to many options but there is a few i found you can view on my Amazon page here www.amazon.com/shop/jbtechfanatic I'm on the lookout for more and will add anything to this page😉
I have a ST300 and Acoustimass 300. If I get the Surround 700 Speakers and connect them to the 300 package, do I need to use to the Bose Music app for the Surround Speakers or will they show up in the Soundtouch app?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored for your support🙏😇 great question this is something I forgot to cover the answer is no you have to use the app you use for the soundtouch 300 and remember if you accidentally or purposely connected to one or the other you must completely remove them from the account in order for them to connect to the other system so if you have them connected to your soundtouch 300 and one day you upgrade to the 700 you will have to make sure to deactivate them from the 300. However you do connect them for your soundtouch 300 using the soundtouch app😇🙏
Hi. JB what's the difference between the 300 surround and 700 surround? Which would be better for Music, Gaming or normal usage on RU-vid and Tv, or does it only enhance the Movie experience ?
The omnijewel700 speakers are better and good for everything. If your head is close to the omnijewel700 the original rears might be slightly better for music. Check out the review and sound comparison in this video. If you put headphones on why watching this video you will be able to hear the difference But i say omnijewel700 😉💯
Thanks for the reply JB. Do I need to rerun the ADAPTiQ after I added the rear speakers? Can I actually place the 700 surround not in front of a wall, I do have a open kitchen behind. Might try out the 300 surround first, if not good enough I will return it and upgrade to the 700.
Yes you definitely want to rerun the adapt IQ. Dont get me wrong If you don't have any rear speakers adding even the original rears is a amazing experience and are totally worth getting especially for the better price point 😉 I think you will be very happy 😊 let me know how you like them
Do you hear popping noises from your Soundbar? I hear the noises randomly. Not from watching movies from my DVD but from watching TV. Could it be from my cable box/provider?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored by your support 😇🙏 This is actually a issue some bars have with it dropping signal and picking it up sending a surge. You need to master reset your bar and run setup over. Also make sure there is not stuff near buy to cause inferences like mirrors cordless phones and microwave if possible. If after reset it still does it call Bose for support or repair😇
Thanks for the great content! I have the bose soundtouch 300, and don't have a ton more money to throw at this system, but if you had to pick between adding the sound module 700 subwoofer or the Omnijewel 700 surrounds speakers, which would you pick? And what about if you had to pick between the subwoofer and the older virtually invisible surround speakers? Thanks!
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support😇💯 Its ok the 300 is a amazing system 😇💯 and to answer your question I would pick the sub bass module in all cases if only one item 😉💯 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
I have recently bought Bose 700 soundbar, Sub and Omnijewel speakers. The sound is not as cinematic I.e. Travelling from rear speakers as it shd. I do have a long living room.. Does it affect if the rear speakers installed on cieling are about 6m apart from each other with sound bar in between. What is the best way to place them?
Follow this video for placement and setup it will help get your 700 up to par😇 you want the rears wide and all 4 holes unobstructed. Just follow my settings and placement suggestions and run Adapt IQ and move to 5 different locations let me know if it helps. Another awesome video with the right information! You answered the other questions I had about the Omni Jewel 700. Im getting them! Will be mounted on the ceiling since as I mention before it will be in a very confined space in a boat. Once is all set up, I will share a picture or video with you. By the way LOVE! the shirt with the different Soundbar graphics. always... Stay safe and healthy, enjoy family and life to the fullest!!!
I have the Sound touch 300 and just bought the 700 speakers after your video. would the 700 sound bar and the ST300 will give me the same sound quality with the 700 speakers? is there a big difference between the ST300 and the 700 bar with the 700 spears or both bars are pretty much the same with the new speakers.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored by your support 😇🙏 In the beginning at launch the 300 and 700 were the same. Now however strictly based off software updates the 700 sounds miles ahead. The honest answer as of today is the 700 with the 700 sounds better. But don't take that as your system is not going to sound great because it will with the eArc support on the 700 it is certainly capable of much better quality audio and therefore they are going to continue pushing the 700 because it's the latest rendition and it will continue to get better. But the 300 is amazing has been amazing but I think it's at its peak and in my eyes is still better than 95% of all other products out on the market.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm honored by your support 😇🙏 the complete 700 system will work for just music through bluetooth and doesn't need a tv but you have to have one of the Soundbars for the 700 rears to work.
Thank you so much for watching And subscribe me I'm thankful and honored by your support😇🙏 not sure what kind of system now? How do you have it set? what is your environment like? Hard floors or carpet?

I already have the Bose 300 Soundbar and Acoustimass 300 subwoofer. The only thing holding me back from getting the Surround Speakers 700 is that I'm not sure how to place them in my living room. A stand of some sort on each side of my sofa would be excellent.
@@JbTechFanatic Thanks for the response. I went through your Amazon storefront and didn't see any stands for the 700 Surround Speakers. Do you have direct links? Thank you!

Great video JB. Thanks for the in depth review. I cant believe how much better the Bose Surround 700s sound (even through RU-vid). Before pull the trigger im wondering if I can ask for your opinion on my setup. I have an open concept room and therefore the kitchen is behind my livingroom couch. I plan on placing them behind my couch on stands. You (and others) recommend having the surround 700s 1 foot away from the wall behind you. In my case there aren't any walls behind me due to the open concept. In your experience, is there anything I need to consider with such a setup? I'm sure I'm not the only one with an open concept room. I realize I might be over thinking this.
Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 💯 Yes you will be fine just be sure to run adapt IQ process and move around to all locations of the room that the length of the wire from the headset will allow. Alot of people had arc problems because of the cable that came with it was defective. So Try it if it works and your tv recognizes arc dont bother. just use the provided one. If not get a new one if possible😊 ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ
Great review by the way. Did you find significant difference between Soundtouch300 vs Soundbar 700 in terms of sound quality (like lows, mid and highs)? Also, and looks like Soundbar 700 has Bass/Treble/Center settings, where as ST300 do not.
Thank you so much for your support watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your kind words 🙏 here is my side by side comparison ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-63JhEw8UI2c.html But to answer your question at first it sounded exactly the same. But now simply due to software updates the 700 def sounds better having said that they are each great systems and if you can get the 300 on sale Its 👍
Awsome video as always! Im thinking of buying the surround 700’s over the holidays and ceiling mounting them. Im just wondering what people think of mixing the colors of difirent peices of the setup?😅 i have black soundbar+bass and thinking going white for the surrounds since i have a white ceiling..
Thank you for watching and your ongoing support 🙏 I honestly dont think that it will matter at all. I use all black subs on my white and black systems as well as white omnijewel700 on both lol
A very nice informative video. I have already purchased a soundbar. bass module and surround speakers. If I want to buy the Bose 700 surround speakers can I use those 2 Omni jewel with the existing small cubical rear speakers

Fantastic review, purchased the 700 Soundbar, Sub and Surround Speakers after watching your review and set up to your recommendations. WOW what a piece of kit. thank you keep up the great reviews

Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 🙏 good news is that will change. What i recommend doing is deleting your bose and manufacturer resetting it as new. Then start setup over using this step by step video. This way you dont miss any steps the system gets the correct software update just in case. @@arvinmendoza8080 trust me when I say me to lol I have 3 pair collecting dust. But the reason is because the system maxes out at 5.2 surround sound and these are formatted for that. Nice video, considering this system as an upgrade to my Solo Tv Sound system & Samsung J5500W. Is this highly recommended over the Sonos & Samsung Q90R?
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support and kind comment 🙏 😇 the sonos is also a great system. If it was my choice I would pick the bose 700. But the nice thing is either way you will be happy with whichever you choose 😊
Jb TechFanatic that’s exactly what I wana hear! I bought the J5500W thinking the 1000watts and surround sound will blow me away! But I was disappointed! Even for music it’s Jst a poor poor system! I got the Bose Solo tv system to replace it while I hunted for a proper system, so the 700 & sub seem to be it. However I’ve seen a review for another Samsung HW-Q90R, any thoughts on it??? Are Atmos & DTSX a big miss given the available content at the moment?
Honestly I own each one the Samsung has all the 'bell's and whistles' but call me crazy The bose just sounds better. But that's not saying the Samsung is bad I just prefer the Bose. And Atmos is just not available enough yet and it's taking a long time..
Jb TechFanatic some reviews have rated the Samsung over the Bose and I Jst couldn’t hey my head around that! For sound, there’s no way a Samsung can rival or match a Bose! So thanks for that reassuring comment, I’ll definitely be getting the 700 and base module for a start! I’ll see if I need the surround in the future... I’ll drop you an update when I get the unit... thanks so much

Hi sir. I'm following all of ur videos .. good one sir.. plz tell me at 18:24 u shown surround speaker images and played a sample audio .. is it only played from these surround speaker or from complete system (soundbar and subwoofer included) ?.. coz I'm planning for getting this surround speakers for my 600 smart soundbar.. not gonna purchase sub .. coz imma traveller .. bass from the sound bar is not enough for me .. if I add these surround speakers a slight improvement in bass can I expect.. at least while playing 2.0 audio ..? How it will behave during 2 ch and 5 channel audio sir ? Plz advise me ..
Thank you for watching and subscribing. I appreciate your support and kind comment. 💯 I have to complete the system running in the test, just with the different rears. Unfortunately, the only way to bring out the bass is with the bass module. The 500 module is much smaller and fairly lightweight but makes a massive difference compared to not having one. The rears alone will definitely help your surround experience, but not with the bass. Unfortunately. ru-vid.com/group/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ&si=z9eK4MYdmVs6rN2F
