Another beautiful video! I have been there- only once! But loved it. Does look liable to flood. I thought that about Selsey Bill. Loved the sound of the curlew. And thanks for naming the flora & fauna you show. I love the style of the houses too. I can see me in some of them! The church was lovely too. Was that porch incongruous being brick built? Thanks. Hope your little dog is not too exhausted on your walks. Have you seen those dog carriages? They have them in shopping outlets- my son’s girlfriend’s dog was most ashamed when he tried one out.
Thank you Diana, and thank you for watching. Bosham is a very beautiful place and, yes, those properties closest to the shoreline are liable to flood - many have flood gates etc for protection. We would love to live there, too, but our bank balance is rather inadequate! I think Selsey Bill is now fairly well protected by sea defences; we have done a couple of video walks there (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eJz1wiJwFVI.html) but not recently, or since we have had the drone. We will have to pay another visit. Yes, the brick built porch certainly looks incongruous but, as with all churches (and other ancient buildings), they evolve over the centuries, and what was acceptable at the time we now see as inappropriate. However, I do think a better job could have been done! We have a dog pushchair from we we had our other old lad. He was happy to travel in it, but I think out little girl would promptly jump out! We are very mindful of her health, and take great care not to overdo the walks, especially in the warm weather. Thanks again for your comments.
Thank you Gabi, we are so pleased you enjoy the videos. We have been out and about recently in wonderful weather filming more, so have a few to edit when we have time. I am sorry, but we do not publish the name of our dog online; sadly, they are people out there who will take any piece of personal information and try to use it for nefarious reasons. Just to say, she is 12 years old, is not 100% well and has dementia, which means we are taking even greater care of her now 🤗 🐶!
