I've owned the Roland AC-60 for a number of years, and absolutely love it. This new BOSS product seems to be the next incarnation, and with some extremely useful added features that would be perfectly suited for a vocalist/guitarist. I've watched some of your excellent gear demonstration videos, and have always been favorably impressed with the friendliness and enthusiasm that you show in them. I must say, Megan's song, "River Flow", at the very end, is just gorgeous. What a beautiful song, and perfect way to demonstrate the amp's capabilities, rolled into one :-). Seriously, the song put, both a smile, on my face, and a tear in my eye. Powerful, powerful song. Thank you, so much, for sharing these videos with us!!
Such a charming and beautiful young lady. And a beautiful voice too! I love that Boss Singer Amp. I will be getting one of those soon. Good day, God bless.
Very pretty song. And this amp is the best amp I've ever bought and I've had it over a year almost 2 years i believe and i love it still. It's a terrific amp. Worth every penny.
Superb, comprehensive and informative demo, well done guys! You really explain the amps and demo the features well. Beautiful singing as well Meg. Excellent!
Love it. I want one real bad. Oh, and Meg has an absolutely beautiful voice. Absolutely gorgeous. A man could get used to hearing a voice like that on the regular. 🌸
I have to say … this is a really well put together clip and tutorial all in the same segment. Nice Vocals and nice show and tell of how to time in both pedal action and button pressing to show off all the features.... a pity these are not available in New Zealand. Well done you guys!
GREAT demonstration by the very knowledgeable "bloke" and his talented partner Meg, who is not only beautiful but has a very beautiful voice! I enjoyed watching this professionally executed video. Thanks.
🎼well done you guys: while listening to Meg's beautiful voice it's demonstrated very detailed, how the settings were changed. Thank you for a differenced review & demo
lol! Me too! - It really did sound good and after watching this video I realized it has more features than all the big boys out there. But man would Marshall or Fender on the front of it look better to my eyes! XD PLEASE let me know the other amps you are considering! I am seriously trying to decide on one and going nuts doing it! Thx!
Her voice was so beautiful she didn't need no Reverb, she has a lovely voice, the Reverb was just a little touch she doesn't need it though, she sings with a lot of down the south bend on the the turn style, beautiful.. voice..Awesome....!!!☺☺☺☺☺
Love acoustic sounds... Hate playin acoustic guitars. Can you play this thing with say... A avrg fender strat? That would be heaven for me if you could get it to work good : )
I am convinced. Am getting one. The ACS Live. I like the size. Thank you for this very useful demo. It is the most clear demo that convinced me to buy one. Again, thank you so much !!!
The very best Review so far! I ordered my BOSS ACS today and I'm really looking forward to it. More after your review! Thank you very much, that really whets your appetite.
An extra £200 for an extra 60w is not really worth the price, especially if you go with the balanced outputs into a mixer/pa system. I'd have thought that 60w would be fine for a solo artist in a pub too, that is pretty loud. Great review and performance though, glad I watched this just to discover yet another fantastic indie artist! :D
This is what I’m thinking ? Surely though anything past 60w if playing without speakers or P.A. system you’re not going to be able to hear yourself think never mind sing ? I’m torn between getting the 60 or 120
serious demo ! striaght to the point, extremely well explained, bravo guys ! nothignt o do with some other music show with endless talks and " jokes " supposed to be funny . no, you guys rock and thank you for that great demo !
I was torn on which amp to choose, but y'all's presentation sold me. I like how you featured the product and not the singer. I loved her voice and song but I wanted to know about the amp and y'all knocked it out of the park. I'll look for you on Facebook Meg!
Love this. Megan is awesome. A cute and cheerful vocal goddess. Perfect clarity. Both your guitars sound beautiful, as well. I want this amp. The smaller one. It's complete!
Danish Pete's got nothing on this girl music-wise, and she's a heck of a lot easier on the eyes! Hey, that rhymes! I think she should get a duo together with Mick ("not that one") Taylor; they'd be great together! Whaddya think?
Now that is a good demo of an amp! Thanks! Just what I was looking for. After seeing all the features crammed into this amp, if it had Marshall, Fender, Fisherman, ect.... on the front of it, I would bet it would cost hundreds more! So far in this price range it kills the competitors! Even the phantom power is 48v instead of like the other guys out there 12 to 24v! But does anyone know what the service is like with BOSS? Compared to the BIG dogs out there, will it last me as long as my 1980's Dean Markley did? idk? - But I am close to pushing the BOSS BUY BUTTON!
I’m pretty sure that just like all harmony pedals like this you must play the guitar while singing or you will probably get a couple clunker harmony’s in the vocal. And having a previous guitar loop will not fill that need. I’ve used many harmony pedals and I did notice the girl has great pitch and a beautiful voice but when she was singing and not playing guitar the harmony went off a bit. Just something to know when using a Harmony pedal not a criticism of her vocals at all!
Can anyone who has one of these and gigs live with it tell me how loud it is for a small venue gig? I'm thinking of getting the 120Watt version will this amp work stand alone without an additional PA and be loud/clear enough? TIA
No one has any review if I want to use acoustic guitar without pick up with microphone and singing? Should I use PA or acoustic amp and which one for very small group of people?
Love your singing and playing! Might I ask what mic you are using? I just bought one of these amps after watching your videos, and my SM57s are very quiet, and my MXL 990 condenser mics are super loud! Any advice from anyone gratefully accepted.
Could the pro do fine in a very loud setting, with drums, a bass, and electric guitar. I need it to sing and play an acoustic. I have a baringer 150 watt but I can never get it loud enough (feedback). I’d appreciate any reply’s :)
I bought the singer pro amp and is the worst amp I ever bought. I connected the amp to a soundboard and on the instrument side there is feedback that CANNOT be eliminated. I contacted the company and they were zero help in eliminating the problem. Do not waste your money on this amp if you are planning on connecting it to a sound board.
Brilliant this and thank you. I’m really considering getting one with all the effects I think it could add a wider dynamic to acoustic performance. Will this be loud enough to use alone without a P.A. system ? Reason I ask is, if you ramp it up, can you still hear yourself singing if you are using this with both guitar and mic and no speakers ?
