Boss AD-10 Review With Surjo The Boss AD-10 is the latest acoustic guitar preamp from Boss and it is the definitive guitar preamp for acoustic guitar players.
One of the best videos I have seen, thank you for sharing! Been looking into this pedal for awhile, and just ordered one. Love your easy and laid back approach!
This is the best demonstration I have seen simple but yet comprehensive covering all aspects of this AD10. This video convinced me to order and I now have in my possession. Surjo Is a superb speaker and demonstrator, thank you for your excellent production.
Is the AD10 can pass through the signal without the need to power it up, cause it’s the first in the chain. Asking cause I need to use my Stratocaster sometimes. Thanks
Nice review! How to control the chorus effect since there is no footswitch? Only by the tiny button over there? It is possible to have delay and chorus at the same time? Thanks!
So a performance related question: assume you want to start a song with the significant delay you demonstrated. then, after 8 measures, turn it off and start a new section/approach in the tune - how do you turn the Delay off? thanks,
Just purchased mine and have concluded that the Boost and Delay features are not available while in the Preset Mode. Sweetwater Music Tech Support told me that one needs to acquire and additional Boss pedal to access the Boost while in Preset Mode. Anyone disagree?
Incorrect. To get into stomp mode while keeping the preset, long press the boost and delay buttons at same time. You are still in the preset memory but can now use boost and delay. Sweetwater gave you bad advice.
El preamplificador es bueno. Puede conectarlo a un PA directamente. Hay disposiciones para conectar a un amplificador de guitarra, pero no es obligatorio. PD, he usado el traductor de Google, así que espero que entiendas lo que trato de decir
Really great work. Can you review the Boss VE-8? I have some hand pain and so I'm considering getting a smaller acoustic guitar, but I want to get a big sound out of it, at least through the amp, if not acoustically. I want a guitar which is easy to play for painful hands. I'd love to make a small body guitar sound like a Dreadnought.
What kind of hand pain? Wrist? I had some wrist issues a year or so ago, and couldn't play. Wore a carpal tunnel brace on the wrist and it helped. I am going to review the VE-8 really soon, I'm going to get it really soon, maybe tomorrow even. Thank you.
Hey.. how do you set up your guitar, i mean what are the settings for the inbuild preamp - they are nautral, they are on zeros or maybe something else?
is it me or is this demo recorded with a mic on the guitar instead of it being plugged in ...? I can see a strap but no cable and a guitar mic clearly in frame for some reason - whats the story? If so, I’m a bit confused why you would run a mic’d guitar into the pedal...
The guitar is plugged in to the AD10 not mic'd. The one mic is being used for my voice. What looks like a mic in front of the guitar is part of the tripod holding the camera for the top view of the processor.
can someone tell me the specifications of the power adapter ....... in my country 220v is used. I want to know if I can use the one that comes in the box or will I have to buy another one?
Surjo Bhattacharjee hi Surjo...Can I ask? I play classical and steel string and I am after a mellow round sound. Do you think that I would get that from the D10?...regards.
