Trent's demeanor is starting to worry me a little. Might just be me but there's very little noise. I understand he wants talks to be out of sight out of respect. But that makes me think he doesn't want the back lash that Gerrard got them he thought about leaving
I love Arne Slots tactical intelligence. Not overprotecting the players in the media, just brutal honesty. I like that. Players must perform on a higher level. This might give Liverpool the edge theyve been missing in the last three or four seasons..

Things are going well so far. I think we still need a top right CB. In the first half we repeated the defensive mistakes that cost us dearly last season. Szobo, Trent and the forwards were great in the second half. I like the Slot way
Inside Liverpool is just pure cinema. These shots are all just incredible, I love it so much. The sounds too are just music to my ears. Szoboslai excelled as an 8. Macca was good but will be interesting to see Elliott as well. Gravenberch did good as a six but let's remember this is Ipswich, and the burden might be too heavy against City/Madrid etc. Mo is a machine the beating heart of the team, his runs, his passes, his vision is just in its own stratosphere. Like Robbo says he returns every year fitter than the year before and I think his diet plays a major role. Robbo and Trent are the best fullbacks in the world, but Arne might regret resting them at 2-0 against other opponents. Gakpo should have come on as a LW, I guess after his euro performance this should be his only position, even though Lucho did great today minus his poor finishing. At 2-0 I would like to see Nunez come out to get some confidence.

People were quite surprised about the substitution at half time. I can tell you that in the end it is the team's importance that counts. if he has to change a player after 25 minutes he will do so! It also happened at Feyenoord. And then you would think disappointed and angry player. But when the referee ended the match after 90 minutes, it was that player who was the first to enter the field to celebrate the 2-3 victory with the players! I'm gonna be honest, no they were not, they made literally no noise throughout the entire first half, and even after they scored twice they still refused to make most of the noise. When Accrington took 25 fans they were still louder, its a sign that your actual fans are either priced out or simply refuse to pay the money necessary, leaving them behind for tourists instead.
Or it’s a 12:30 away to a newly promoted team who quite rightly are providing incredible support to their boys. We had 3000 in the ground, listen to the noise of the home fans…gonna be a struggle to outsing that. Even when they were 2 down they were really vocal. I think that should be the focus rather than the perceived lack of atmosphere in the away.
@@GavAndrews We aren't used to away atmosphere being weak at Portman Road, especially at 12:30. We've had a strong-ish home atmosphere since the takeover happened but that home atmosphere was definitely the best since the 3-2 against Southampton so we appreciate the acknowledgement of our home support for that game. I'm sorry I can't share the same sentiment for the away end like I usually can for other teams, it wasn't worse than our away end against Norwich last season, mind.

Still we need CDM that fits Arne Slot type of Football, so far we have Bajcetic ,Tyler Morton ,and macca,to play front the back through his double pivots.
Hopefully another 3 points on the weekend against Brentford at home, need 2-3 signings before the window shuts especially when we get into a game every 3 days, also if Gomez leaves we definitely need another CB bringing in, that will be Matip and Gomez gone this summer
