I dont think there was any actual boss engagement mechanics besides the super armor bars(which is just the laziest thing to do), none that actively block, no attacks you can attack parry back besides the new rival and the mino charge which were pathetic with how easily they staggered, just a bunch of character swap and special spam, god i hate how this type of combat is the standard for mobile action/open world games now
Why do I have to min max in a Devil May Cry game if the only thing I get back is shorter battles and less combo potential This game is oxymoronic, or just plain moronic
