Ciao!! Thank you very much!! I had the DD-20 in 2004 and I used it a lot as a lofi looper and these things .. then I foolishly sold it in 2010. I remember what I was doing with it and I bought it a few days ago because I need these sounds now for some recordings . Can do much more with a DD-20, it's fun as a toy!! 😉
Amazing sounds on this! I see you stopped putting out videos about 5 months ago which makes me sad. I also saw you subscribed to my channel but had 600 subscribers of your own. I knew that meant quality and I wasn't wrong. This sounds great! Your creativity and sound quality are both off the charts, bravo sir and I hope you keep up the demos. You earned a subscriber here.
This makes me feel bad for ignoring most of the modes on my dd20. Nice work. I usually stick to analog. Pan if I'm stereo'd. But I like the dd20 so much I bought 2 to have one as a backup
@@depotgearholy shit your the guy? 😮. . Damn dood I knew there was a familiarity to that style, I just couldn't make the beholder 😮 Again bravo 👏👏👏👏 This was a hell of a performance!!!! 🌿🚬🥃🎚️📻🎵🧲🫀🤝
It’s certainly a fantastic shiny object, figuratively. Wonder if it would be useful for a solo acoustic performer...vs. a simple tap delay....I could definitely see this in a band setting, for ambient psychedelic stuff.
Aerial M from my first demo example? Thank you very much!! This example is on my track here > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zsHBRedUH70.html
@@depotgear I've probably added a few hundred views to your video trying to figure out how you managed to do a loop without using the SOS setting. Any tips?
@@randysosa7616 Select a preset, use the tap tempo to adjust the delay time, then press the tap at the beginning of the phrase to be sampled .. at the end of the phrase press the tap again and the delay time will be as long as the phrase that will loop. If you deactivate the delay you can play on it without changing the phrase, if you leave it on you will overdub (you can activate and deactivate as many times as you want to overdub). If you don't want to have the delay effect on the phrase recorded, for example on tape preset, just set the delay time to maximum before recording (23 seconds on all except on the analog preset maybe) 😉
I’m still super confused by this. I’ve tried doing something similar and I’m not getting the same result with the loop. Are you able to do a video where you show the settings you use for this
