Boss GT-1 - Stompbox Mode/Manual Mode Alternative

Picked one of these up yesterday and got to play with it for a couple hours, wasnt expecting much for $200 but its actually a pretty solid little unit and very well built, havent had time to get too deep into it but straight out the box it has a ton of cool effects and doesnt seem too hard to figure out and is definately well worth the price...

hey thanx for the explanation, I'm imagining having different banks of manual modes, that would allow almost infinite combinations of 'pedalboards' . I have a GT1 and I think it's like a little pandora's box!! haha, definetly a tool worth knowing how to use, cheers from Chile!!

I believe this is possible due to looking at this video, having experience of owning and using the GT-5, VG-88 and GP-10. I do not yet have a GT-1 (so will need the idea tested) but this vid is helping me decide to purchase one. It does remind me of my GT-5 in button layout.

Hi just saw your video, and i wanted to know, can you add more than 2 switches? like you added 2 which is a total of 5, can you add 3 and make it a total of 6? or more?

Hey man thanks man this video is great it helped me overcome my doubts about the gt-1 I just have a little is it possible like example let's say I have a delay on the on up switch and an od/ds on the down switch could I for example turn the delay and then turn the ov/ds or would it deactivate one if I press the other?
