After seeing this $50 price for what little food you got (and no drinks) we now know why the restaurant was empty. Holy cow. This is a place we had planned to try next month bu absolutely won’t be now. Thank you for saving our group of 10 from a $300 meal in a strip mall.

Reminds me of dickey's bbq. A bit pricey for what you get though. Even for the area. We could eat at Bennett's for that and get bigger meals.

The food did not look that great to us for the price! We had takeout from the Wears Valley location before and it was average to below average. We had thought about trying this location to give it a try again. However after watching your review I think we will stay away. Dawn's expression said it all! Thanks for sharing!

I went to the one on Wears Valley Rd when I was there in May, great barbecue. The baked beans are Texas style beans, still really good. I will be back in August and definitely will be stopping again.

We will be there next month maybe we will see you guys there.

We ate at the one across from the goat coaster recently and it was very good.

Thanks for sharing the prices. That way we know what to expect. We definitely will be passing on this place. It’s just to expensive for that kind of food.

Loves Bennett's barbeque, it's my favorite, do not like the mustard taste barbeque sauce, will give a chance to them, thank you both for trying the restaurants for us.

I think it looked pretty good. Hopefully they have a sweet bbq sauce you can get. I do think they can bring the prices down a bit but the rolls, fries and brisket looked good. I'd like to see the pulled pork sandwiches.

I love Preacher's Smokehouse. Its worth the drive and the food is so good and people are friendly. Preacher's is so good and you can't bet their prices. My family of 3 can eat their for $32. Found out about them on your channel. Have been going every time we go twice a year.

They charge 12% tax, then charge 4% for using a card and STILL have the nerve to charge what they do for the food? Grand Opening...Grand Closing.

I enjoyed you review. When I was looking at you brisket I thought the color was just to light. It didn't look done. The ribs look great. I love BBQ. I'm a Texan and have a hard time eating out BBQ here. I like a good dry rub then really slow smoked so it's good done yet really tender. I laughed so hard at Dawns face when she tasted the signature BBQ sauce. The color certainly indicated it had A Lot of mustard in it. Some like sweet some like the more vinegar flavor. Texas BBQ is a little of both but less sweet . I died a little when I saw meat only brisket $21.99 a lb. But briskets are soo expensive here for some weird reason. Average price in grocery store is 8.99 lb. OMG thats crazy. We wait til my daughters go visit Texas and they pack up and ice chest or two and then we have corn fed , feed lot beef at around 3.00 lb. If they ate using a good hard wood for smoking thats terribly expensive also. So it's really hard for BBQ places to make profit. If it was really good then it's worth the price. Going out for steak is pricey and with the flavor of grass fed beef in this area I'd choose to spend the same amount on BBQ. I adore y'all. Love you mannerisms. Down doesn't talk much but says A Lot with her eyes and face. I've watch a few other RU-vidrs from the area and they just Can't hold a candle next to you. Your polite, very courteous. I enjoy you guys. Some day I hope I'll run into y'all when your out and about. ❤

I would love to see you eat at Buddy's BBQ. Their hot fudge cakes are so good! Hungry Bear BBQ was really good when we went a few years back too. It's in an old house and had an old bathtub in the bathroom.

It didn’t look like a lot of food and we wouldn’t enjoy the cafeteria style seating for that price with no drinks. We love Dawns expression as that’s our indicator wether or not to try it and Thanks Will and Dawn for the reviews you y’all do!

Geez, $50 for lunch, and a 20% tip. That seems way too expensive to me.

Glad we don't like barbecue that much because $50 without drinks and $7.49 for kids mac and cheese is ridiculous.

If y'all ever get to central or eastern NC, please try the Smithfield's Chicken N BBQ chain...the vinegar-base sauce may seem strong at first (an acquired taste, but when eaten with the sweet slaw & potato salad it is delicious 🐖 😋. Their hushpuppies & sweet tea are great too. Take Care & keep up the good work !

My wife and I ate at the older location a few years ago. Only one sauce available at that time and it was heavy on the mustard. The wife said it was OK, however I was not a fan. I had the same reaction as Dawn.
