Helpful hint, keep your hand on the Output Level knob when you are cycling through the patches, if you hit one that uses the expression pedal the volume can go crazy in an instant, or keep the volume off when changing patches.
I haven't got a clue what youre talking about ?? you cycle through the whole ME-90, because you know exactly what it's about, but the people wanting to learn something about how it actually works. How to know simple stuff.. And to get started, nobody on RU-vid does that.. they just ramble on, about a 1000 things in 15 minutes, so people are left clueless, or they switch off, It's a bit like me telling everybody how to build a house in 15 minutes.
Just a thought ...replace chicken knobs with knobs with a digital line that changes as turned or where they were in a patch. Make them easy to change out too so that can by replacement parts. Last other one that bugs me is with the first digital knob idea this would allow you to tap a pedal and change the effects in a pedal bay 1-4. Do that and people would even more be all over these than they already are, myself included.
Thanks for the review. There have been a few questions regarding the CTL functions w/a few ME - 90 users I know so perhaps you can do a short follow up video about how to set effects on/off in CTL function in BTS mode as well as the CTL settings on the Physical Pedal.👍🙏
In order to connect it with passive cab which power amp pedal would suffice. Since the Boss already provides with a lots of effects and amp et… sims I’m wrong thinking of a very simple power amp pedal that just is to push the volume? Buying a amped II I think would be a overkill or?
Very cool . ❤. I don't know how old this is, but good video. I really liked the recording you did. I am looking at this as well as the IR2 and the Tonex, etc, for something to use to go to FOH. Where I live in rural southern Indiana all the places and small clubs I would play at require no stage volume or very low stage volume so I need to figure this out. Sadly you can't get feedback and such like you could back in the day when I played in the 80s with roaring combos and stack amps. I might have to get a sustainer pickup as well. 😂. Best regards and thanks man. ❤
Good morning. I ask for help regarding the ME 90. Trying the delays: MODULATE, WARM, TAPE, ANALOG, STANDARD and also the one in the EQ/FX2 part, they are practically all the same and not even a stereo one. Is this the case or did they give me a defective pedal board? I've been using Boss pedals for a long time but never with this limit. Thank you and greetings. G.
In your opinion what do you think is the best configuration for this Me90? Connected to Pa/mixer or into a real ampli? I say that because I made some patches using my headphones and when I listened throught my Mac and desk monitor, the result was not very good like headphones
I’ve a fender tonemaster delux reverb and you can’t do the 4CM with it. Which output option should I use to go from the ME90 to the amp ? Seems like I can use two of the send options but which is the correct one ? Great explanation by the way
I wish it could be used as a channel switch for your amp also. I always said the 4CM was the only missing feature of the ME80. Apparently, I am impassive to please. Oh well. I still want the ME90 very badly.
When I turn it on, it already has various pedals activated. Is there a way to turn it on and not have any of the pedals already activated? I had the ME-80 and when I turned that one on, everything was off by default. I like having a clean slate rather than having to turn off the pedals that I don't want to use every time I turn on the unit
Well not useful I don't know what all this terminology is Banks and models and presets blah blah blah blah blah blah blah how does the damn thing work. What do all those buttons mean
whats with all the ancillary knob tweaking during the playback? it did nothing besides confuse the viewer and it DOES nothing in reality. It looks like ur just turning knobs to look fancy and thats exactly what ur doing. Most demos i see of these ME units are done by people who seem to have NO idea how guitar effects, signal chain, and gain structure works.
